Lietuvos bendrojo lavinimo mokyklos 12-14-16 metų mokinių vikrumo rezultatai ir jų kitimas amžiaus ir lyties grupėse 1992-2002-2012 metais / The results of agility test of 12, 14, 16 years old schoolchildren from Secondary schools in Lithuania and the dynamics of these results in different age and gender groups in 1992, 2002, 2012

Ramanauskas, Vaidas 12 June 2012 (has links)
Darbo objektas: mokinių vikrumas Manoma, kad fizinis pajėgumas yra integruotas daugumos, jeigu ne visų, organizmo funkcijų, susijusių su fiziniu aktyvumu, matmuo (Ortega et al., 2008). Taigi testuojant fizinį pajėgumą iš tikrųjų patikrinama didžioji dalis organizmo fiziologinių funkcijų (Malina, 2001; Matton et al., 2006). Taigi įvairiems amžiaus tarpsniams yra keliami skirtingi tikslai. Iki 12 metų fizinis ugdymas turi laiduoti optimalų organizmo augimo, gerą psichologinę būseną, diegti sveikos gyvensenos įgūdžius, lavinti pagrindinius judėjimo įgūdžius, ugdyti vikrumą, jėgą, lankstumą bei reakcijos greitį (Maureen, Weiss, 2000). Teigiama, kad šiuolaikiniai vaikai ir paaugliai pasižymi prastesniu fiziniu pajėgumu negu ankstesnių kartų vaikai ir paaugliai (Tomkinson et al., 2003; Moller et al., 2007), tačiau objektyvių mokslinių tyrimų duomenų nepakanka. Nėra jokios abejonės, kad su amžiumi fizinio pajėgumo komponentai kinta, tačiau mokslininkus vis dar domina klausimas kokiu mąstu? Tyrimo tikslas - nustatyti Lietuvos bendrojo lavinimo mokyklos 12 – 14 - 16 metų mokinių vikrumo rezultatų kitimą amžiaus ir lyties grupėse 1992-2002-2012 metais. Tyrimo tikslui pasiekti, buvo keliami sekantys uždaviniai: 1. Nustatyti vikrumo rezultatus amžiaus ir lyties grupėse 2012 metais. 2. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / It is believed that the physical capacity is built most if not all, bodily functions, associated with physical activity, dimension (Ortega et al., 2008). So, testting the physical capacity actually checked most of the body‘s physiological functions (Malina, 2001; Matton et al., 2006). Therefore, different age of groups are faced with different objectives. Up to 12 years of physical education to ensure optimal growth of the organism, a good psychological state, to introduce a healthy lifestyle skills to develop basic movement skills, to develop agility, strenght, flexibility and reaction speen (Maureen, Weiss, 2000). It is argued that today‘s children and teenagers have worse physical capacity than previuos generations of children and adolescens (Tomkinson et al., 2003, Moller et al., 2007) but the objective of research is available. There is no doubt that the age- changing components of physical fitness, but researchers are still interested in the question to what extent? The subject of study: agility of schoolchildren. The aim of the study: to determine the change of schoolchildren agility among different age (12, 14, 16 years old) and gender groups during the year of 1992, 2002, 2012. Main tasks of the study: 1. to determine the results of agility test among the male and female schoolchildren of age 12, 14, 16 years old in 2012. 2. to compare the results of changes in agility test among schoolchildren of age group 12, 14, 16 years old during the years of 1992, 2002, 2012... Impact of External Situational Factors on the Agility of Humanitarian Supply Chains : A Case Study of Haiti Earthquake 2010

Wachauf-Tautermann, Sebastian, Weichert, Stefanie January 2015 (has links)
Background Developing, emerging and developed countries are vulnerable to disasters and might require external assistance to cope with their aftermaths. It is forecasted that disasters will increase five-fold over the next 50 years. In an environment, which is characterized by many uncertainties, humanitarian supply chains are created to provide disaster relief in a highly complex and dynamic setting. This environment is unique for every disaster, where infrastructure, government, physical, socio-economic and security situational factors can either facilitate or restrict humanitarian operations. Agile supply chain principles enable humanitarian organizations to quickly respond to disasters. Purpose The purpose of this thesis is to explore and analyze the impact of external situational factors on the agility of humanitarian supply chains and humanitarian organizations’ actions taken to address those external situational factors during the immediate response phase of an emergency event. Methodology For the purpose of this study a combination of an inductive and deductive research approach was applied. The study was of exploratory and qualitative nature with a single case study in its focus. Empirical data was collected by conducting semi-structured interviews with nine respondents involved in the disaster relief operations of Haiti Earthquake 2010. Empirical findings were analyzed by using the template analysis. Conclusion External situational factors have a strong impact on capabilities enabling humanitarian supply chains to be agile during the immediate response phase. Humanitarian organizations are able to reduce the negative impact of external situational factors while in other cases the negative impact of external situational factors is further intensified by actions taken by humanitarian organizations. Furthermore, humanitarian organizations are able to utilize and enhance some of the positive impacts of external situational factors. However, the initially positive impact of some external situational factors may be reduced by inappropriate actions taken by humanitarian organizations. Therefore, understanding the context of the disaster’s broader environment is a prerequisite to an effective emergency response.

Evaluation of Software License Management Frameworks for Grid Environments : The Four Ts for Agile Systems

Östlund, Joel, Eriksson, Filip January 2014 (has links)
Business Agility could be the means to survive in a competitive environment of continuous andunanticipated change and to respond quickly to rapidly changing, fragmenting global markets that are catered by competitors. To leverage the potential benefits of Business Agility, many companies use Information Technology as a major force for augmenting their agility. The topic of increasing Business Agility through Information Technology has been pervasively studied in research papers. And in the context of this thesis, we will investigate research papers in order to develop an evaluation model for facilitating making informed decisions regarding agile Information Systems in computational Grid environments. The Information Systems in this thesis will focus on license management systems, which is an intricate but coherently integrated blend of many different modules compiled as a technical solution that enables software license management. We will use our evaluation model to compare license management frameworks, easily grasped as a draft for a license management system, for Grid environments and also underpin it with a case study on an in-use license management system in order to strengthen its business applicability. The research was conducted as a qualitative comparison and a case study, combining both research papers and a real business context in order to fulfill the goals and purposes of this thesis. The results of the analysis implies that most of the license management frameworks for Grid environments lacks various details needed for making a feasible implementation in a certain business context, whilst those that have been trialed in a real business situation fulfilled almost every aspect of our evaluation model. The conclusion drawn is that our evaluation model is a seemingly good start for making informed decisions when choosing or designing an agile license management system for Grid environments

The Comprehensive High-level Activity Mobility Predictor (CHAMP): A Performance-based Assessment Instrument to Quantify High-level Mobility in Service Members with Traumatic Lower Limb Loss

Gaunaurd, Ignacio A 03 March 2012 (has links)
The psychometric properties of a new high-level mobility outcome measure for Service Members (SMs) with traumatic lower limb loss called the Comprehensive High-level Activity Mobility Predictor (CHAMP) was developed in order objectively evaluate functional abilities and measure change in function throughout the rehabilitation process. The CHAMP was administered to a population of SMs with traumatic lower limb loss who were representative of those who have suffered limb loss in recent conflicts. In addition, a population of non-amputee Active Duty soldiers completed the CHAMP and provided normative data for high-level mobility and threshold levels of performance for those SMs with lower limb loss. A simple grading system, absent of floor and ceiling effects, generates a composite score providing a single numeric value representing the physical performance factors of high-level mobility in different plane of motion and under different conditions. The CHAMP was found to be a safe, reliable, valid, and responsive performance-based outcome measure of high-level mobility. It was found to have excellent interrater and test-retest reliability suggesting that it is a stable and repeatable measure of high-level mobility. Convergent construct validity and known group methods were utilized to establish the CHAMP as a valid measure of high-level mobility. Predictive models of CHAMP performance were established utilizing variables representing impairments of body structure and function and contextual factors by level of lower limb amputation. The CHAMP has the potential to be used for lower limb amputees throughout the rehabilitation process and could translate to the non-amputee population for assessment of high-level mobility capabilities.

Title: Development of agility during on-ice and off-ice trainings for ice hockey players in the youth category. Objectives: This diploma thesis is mainly focusing on verify whether off-ice training or on-ice training is more effective and cause better agility improvement on the ice. Another goal of the thesis is to experimentally verify if there is a motoric transfer to agility on ice due to agility training off the ice. Methods: In this experiment, I had seven participants divided into two separated groups. The task for the groups was to undergo two, one month training programs, on - ice and off - ice. Results were measured by method of quantitative analysis of motoric test results. Results: In both of the monitored groups, the results were improved in two out of six tests. For the research, the participants were divided into two groups. Both groups completed a month long training program on ice and off ice. In the direct 6.1m sprint test, direct 35m sprint and S - Corner, the results did not change. In the slalom-puck test, a difference was found in the Cohen d values between the group which began only on ice and in the group that was beginning office after both periods. The result of the reaction test was by Cohen's d same as in the slalom-puck test. Keywords: Ice hockey, agility, training,...

Chaloupka, Tomáš January 2018 (has links)
Title: The effect of a short-term intervention program for development of sprint and agility in soccer players (U16) Author: Bc. Tomáš Chaloupka Head of work: Mgr. Jakub Kokštejn, Ph.D. Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to verify the effectiveness of two different short- term intervention programs in the development of speed-power abilities in young soccer players (U16). Methods: The research sample included soccer players (16 year old; n=22; 15,2±0,3 years) from the highest competitive level in the Czech Republic. For the interventional effect verification we used tests without the ball (sprint on 5, 10 and 30 meters, Illinois Agility Test, Yo-Yo IRT 2, six jump alternately) and with the ball (sprint on 5, 10 and 30 meters, Illinois Agility Test). Data analysis was performed by using IBM SPSS software Statistics 24. Results: Both groups of players improved in the agility test (r = 0.32; r = 0.40), but these improvements were not statistically significant (p = 0.16; p = 0.06). Group 2 (runs) improved in the ball agility test (p = 0.02; r = 0.49). Both groups were improved in a six jump strength test (group 1 p = 0.02; r = 0.51; group 2 p = 0.08; r = 0.32), but in group 2 improvement was not statistically significant. Both groups were improved in Yo-Yo IRT2 speed endurance (group 1 p = 0.09; r =...

Vztah tělesné stavby k technice skoku psů / Correltion between body proportions and jump technique of dogs

VAZDOVÁ, Pavlína January 2012 (has links)
The aim of this thesis was to determine whether there are differences in the length of a jump among individual breeds and whether the proportions of the body and body indices influence the length of the jump. In total 84 individuals of three model breeds (German Shepherd, Belgian Shepherd and Border Collie) were studied. For each individual dog six body measurements were taken and used to calculate the ratios of physical parameters (indices). In addition to the measuring, the jump over an obstacle was video recording for ad-hoc analysis of the jump parameters. Using the described methods was proven that the breed, individual training experience and body measurements have significant influence on jump performance, or more precisely on take-off and jump length. The impact of analyzed aspects on landing was significantly lower. Jump length is closely related to the depth/height index and the width of the chest. The worst performance was statistically identified at dogs with low value of the balance index. The results indicate that characteristics examined in this thesis (namely breed and the body measurements and indices) can be used for preselecting individuals with higher jump potential.

Djurback, Ingrid January 2018 (has links)

Tudesco, Ana Paula Kloeckner January 2014 (has links)
In the context of project management, new approaches emerged aiming to monitor changes in the business environment with agility and generating innovative in developing new technologies, products and services results. The Agile Project Management (APM) arose from the union of some principles and values, which have in the focus on individuals the main difference from other approaches in project management. Given this focus, it is necessary to show which factors may be associated with successful implementation of GAP to obtain the agility and innovative results. Thus, the overall goal of this study is to identify the success factors of agile project management and how they can contribute, through the practices of agile management in achieving results in agility and innovative projects. The specific objectives are: (i) identify practices, success factors, indicators and agile management tools highlighted projects in the literature, (ii) identify the importance of these success factors to determine the speed and facilitate the generation of innovation results; (iii) identify practices associated with the success factors highlighted in this study between professionals; (iv) characterize a format and structure for implementation of agile project management based on the success factors identified in a service company. To answer each of the objectives presented, this paper was structured as three items associated with each of the specific objectives presented. Thus, the work was composed of a systematic literature review (Article 1), a research -type survey (Article 2) and a case study (Article 3) . The first article identified the success factors as well as the practices, indicators and benefits of GAP. In the second article, we selected six success factors related to the focus on individuals (autonomy, coordination, collaboration, communication, flexibility and continuous learning) and after it was found the importance of each in determining the agility and facilitation for generating innovative results. In the third article, a case study, consisting of interviews with professionals with experience in GAP for a diagnosis of the project area of a service business was conducted. The end result was the characterization and structure of a format implementation for the company under study. The results of this dissertation can’t be generalized, however, seek to clarify some elements associated with successful Agile Project Management, serving as a guide for future studies.

Big Data, capacitações dinâmicas e valor para o negócio. / Big data, dynamic capabilities and business value.

Michel Lens Seller 17 May 2018 (has links)
The combination of the technologies of social media, mobility and cloud computing has dramatically increased the volume, variety and velocity of data available for firms. Many companies have been looking at this phenomenon, also known as Big Data, as a source of value to business. The literature shows different mechanisms for transforming Big Data in business value. First of them is agility, herein understood as the ability of sensing and rapidly responding to changes and opportunities in the competitive environment. Other mechanism is the usage of Big Data as an enabler of dynamic capabilities that result in operational improvements, through the deepening (exploit) of determined operational capability. Finally, Big Data can be the facilitator of dynamic capabilities that result in innovation (explore of new capabilities) and in the launching of new product and services in the market. Within this context, the goal of this study is to investigate the approach for Big Data usage in companies from different competitive scenarios and with different levels of IT capability. It is also part of the objectives to investigate how companies changed their processes to accommodate the huge volume of data available from Big Data. Through case studies in companies of different industries and with different Big Data approaches, the study shows Big Data as an enabler of dynamic capabilities that result in the improvement of operational capabilities, in the diversification of business and in innovation. It has also been identified the trend of association of machine learning to Big Data when the objective is operational agility. IT capability shows to be determinant of the quantity and complexity of the competitive actions launched from Big Data. To conclude, it is valid to anticipate that due to simplification coming from cloud technologies, IT resources will be increasingly released to working close to business - as, for example, in Big Data initiatives - strengthening dynamic capabilities and creating value to business.
