Previous issue date: 2009-10-21 / Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico / This essay intends to reveal the potential of photography to establish a relation of
respect among different cultures, such as between white and indigenous peoples, at the
same time, it has the inherent ability to restore the collective memory and to transmit it
from a group to another, from the past to the present, keeping the knowledge and identity
of the documented group alive. As a major source of anthropological research, the
photography allows the reflection of important values and attitudes, through the
comprehension of feelings, which are necessary to re-qualify human actions and
relations in the present time. To verify this, it has been reconstituted the trajectory of
Claudia Andujar, by investigating her images, which registered 40 years of experiences
with the Yanomami community, aimed at understanding their collective memory and
conhecimento e a identidade do grupo retratado.
relações do homem no presente.

Considering the importance of understanding who the subjects of education are, this study is an attempt to understand the reality of the education network in the city of Viamão, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, in performing the diagnosis of elementary school students’ profiles as a parameter of educational management. The aim of this research is to formulate a methodology for diagnosis of students' reality as a management parameter. As specific objectives, the study attempts to deepen the topic, aiming at increasing the knowledge about it and enabling a better connection between the different concepts of the ideal student; to understand the importance of both acknowledging the differences and formulating social anthropological surveys of the local reality. In order to do that, the research has been grounded on three pillars: the way the city conducts the process today, important actions PENSE 2012 (database) has taken, and the main trends pointed by the research, considering what the literature has recommended. The methodology of this investigative study comprehended a bibliographical research, a research at the Municipal Secretariat of Viamão (with interviews and document collection), and research in a public database (IBGE: PENSE, 2012). The study has led to two outcomes for the educational network: widening of the students’ records with the formulation of a parameter including variables that are more suitable to the diversity seen in the schools; and notes for the formulation of a social anthropological research in the Municipal Network.

The Sherezade Project set forth by the teachers’ Academic Management at PUCP aims to integrate transmedia platforms and anthropological research. The present article details the process of incorporating audiovisual and narrative methods into the urban anthropology course. It also describes the process of producing micro-programs for the university’s TV channel. In this case, wrestling was chosen as the subject by the students and was diffused to a larger audience than just the academic. The project’s main goal is to apply new audiovisual platforms and technology to university education, thus training the students to not only do research but also to democratically relay the results of said social research to the community.

The displacement of a Northern Cape community : an anthropological researchBecker, Elize 09 1900 (has links)
Text in English with abstracts in English, Afrikaans and Tswana with keywords in English and Tswana / Displacement in the South African context is a complex and diverse phenomenon which is
under-researched, particularly from the point of view of post-resettlement stress. The
Meetse-a-tala community from Groenwater, Northern Cape, was resettled in 1964 and
returned in 1999 to their ancestral land after a 25 year struggle to do so. The community
anticipated that the land would present all the natural resources they had in 1964, but
unfortunately, when they returned, the outlook seemed a lot different.
Tiragalo ya go fudusiwa ka dikgoka mo bokaong jwa Aforikaborwa e tlhagisa marara a a
