Proposta de um transmissor de dados portátil e de baixo custo para o processo eleitoral Brasileiro

A utilização da tecnologia da informação no processo de automatização do trabalho já está instituída. As soluções que automatizam os processos fabris e que suportam a prestação de serviços aumentam a produtividade e tornaram-se imprescindíveis como ativo a ser bem explorado pelas organizações que desejam possuir os diferenciais competitivos essenciais para sobreviver num mercado concorrido. No âmbito do poder público, o processo de automatização também caminha rapidamente e novas ferramentas que agilizam e reduzem os custos da prestação de serviços aos cidadãos são implementadas. O processo eleitoral brasileiro acompanhou a onda da informatização e está totalmente automatizado desde 1998. Todavia, a informatização de eleições é um processo crítico devido aos diversos requisitos relacionados com a segurança do processo. O cenário de um processo eleitoral é composto por um conjunto de interesses, geralmente conflitantes, que devem ser harmonizados em eleições justas e limpas. A informatização traz vantagens relacionadas com a maior agilidade no processo de apuração e divulgação do resultado da eleição, maior economia, maior flexibilidade, possibilidade de correção de erros cometidos no momento da votação, inclusão de pessoas com deficiências, entre outros. Conciliar as dificuldades de implementar os requisitos exigidos em um sistema eleitoral, especificamente aqueles conflitantes e que asseguram a legitimidade das eleições (privacidade do eleitor e a garantia da integridade), para tirar proveito das vantagens que a informatização proporciona, tem sido objeto de pesquisas no meio acadêmico. Neste trabalho é apresentado um projeto para a construção de um protótipo de um dispositivo embarcado que visa aumentar a economicidade do processo eleitoral. O dispositivo destina-se a aperfeiçoar a fase de envio dos arquivos contendo os votos eletrônicos, apurados nas urnas eletrônicas brasileiras, para totalização e obtenção do resultado do pleito. Para melhorar a segurança, o equipamento faz uso de técnicas de criptografia para assegurar que o canal utilizado para transmissão dos resultados é seguro. A maior economia para o processo eleitoral é garantida com um dispositivo portátil, leve, de baixo consumo energético e robusto. Equipamentos menores e portáteis podem reduzir os custos com o processo de aquisição, preparação e envio para os locais de onde os votos eletrônicos serão transmitidos afim de serem totalizados nos sistemas centralizados da Justiça Eleitoral. / The use of information technology to promote the automation of work processes is widely spread. Systems to automate the manufacturing processes and to support services delivery help to improve the productivity and have become an indispensable asset to be exploited by organizations wishing to have the competitive advantages essential to survive in a crowded marketplace. In the context of public sector, the automation process also moves quickly and new tools that streamline and reduce the costs of providing services to citizens are being implemented. The Brazilian electoral process followed the wave of informatization and is fully automated since 1998. However, the informatization of elections is a critical process due to various requirements related to the electoral process security. The scenario of an electoral process is composed of a set of interests, often conflicting, which should be harmonized by fair and clean elections. Computerization has advantages related to greater agility in the process of calculation and disclosure of the outcome of the elections, greater economy, greater flexibility, possibility of correcting errors made at the time of voting, inclusion of people with disabilities, among others. Reconcile the difficulties of implementing the requirements in an electoral system, specifically those conflicting, which shall ensure the legitimacy of the elections (voter privacy and guarantee of the integrity), to take advantage of the benefits that computerization provides, has been subject of academic research. This work presents a project to build a prototype of an embedded device that aims to increase economicity of the Brazilian electoral process. The device is intended to improve the activity of sending files containing the electronic votes, acquired in the Brazilian electronic ballot boxes, for counting and obtaining the result of the election. To improve security, the prototype makes use of encryption techniques to ensure that the channel used for transmission of results is secure. The economy for the electoral process will be guaranteed with a portable, lightweight, low energy consumption and robust device. Portable and smaller equipments can reduce the costs with the acquisition process, preparing and sending to the places where the electronic votes will be transmitted in order to be aggregated in centralized systems. / 5000

Smart Meters Big Data : Behavioral Analytics via Incremental Data Mining and Visualization

The big data framework applied to smart meters offers an exception platform for data-driven forecasting and decision making to achieve sustainable energy efficiency. Buying-in consumer confidence through respecting occupants' energy consumption behavior and preferences towards improved participation in various energy programs is imperative but difficult to obtain. The key elements for understanding and predicting household energy consumption are activities occupants perform, appliances and the times that appliances are used, and inter-appliance dependencies. This information can be extracted from the context rich big data from smart meters, although this is challenging because: (1) it is not trivial to mine complex interdependencies between appliances from multiple concurrent data streams; (2) it is difficult to derive accurate relationships between interval based events, where multiple appliance usage persist; (3) continuous generation of the energy consumption data can trigger changes in appliance associations with time and appliances. To overcome these challenges, we propose an unsupervised progressive incremental data mining technique using frequent pattern mining (appliance-appliance associations) and cluster analysis (appliance-time associations) coupled with a Bayesian network based prediction model. The proposed technique addresses the need to analyze temporal energy consumption patterns at the appliance level, which directly reflect consumers' behaviors and provide a basis for generalizing household energy models. Extensive experiments were performed on the model with real-world datasets and strong associations were discovered. The accuracy of the proposed model for predicting multiple appliances usage outperformed support vector machine during every stage while attaining accuracy of 81.65\%, 85.90\%, 89.58\% for 25\%, 50\% and 75\% of the training dataset size respectively. Moreover, accuracy results of 81.89\%, 75.88\%, 79.23\%, 74.74\%, and 72.81\% were obtained for short-term (hours), and long-term (day, week, month, and season) energy consumption forecasts, respectively.

Analyse occlusale informatisée, sur une période de six mois post-traitement, comparant des cas traités par orthodontie fixe et par aligneurs amovibles

Objectif: Suite aux traitements avec aligneurs, une insuffisance de contacts postérieurs est souvent notée cliniquement: existe-t-elle réellement, se corrige-t-elle spontanément? Cette étude vise à comparer la qualité de l’occlusion statique chez des patients ayant été traités avec boitiers conventionnels ou par aligneurs, dès la dépose des appareils orthodontiques et après six mois de mise en place fonctionnelle. Matériel and Méthodes: La mise en place fonctionnelle de l’occlusion chez des sujets traités par boitiers conventionnels (GB, n=25) ou par aligneurs (GA, n=14) et par a été évaluée par un système d’analyse occlusale informatisée (T-scan 9), au moment de la dépose (T0), puis à 3 et 6 mois de contention (T3 et T6). Les sujets (41% de filles, âge moyenne de 19,38 ± 5,98 ans), étaient traités sans extractions, ni chirurgie, avec pour contention des fils collés ou appareils sans recouvrement occlusal. La symétrie et la simultanéité des contacts ainsi que la position antéro-postérieure du centre de forces (CF) étaient évalués. Résultats : À tout moment (T0, T3, T6), aucune différence statistiquement significative n’a été observée quant à la position antéro-postérieure du CF (p=0,854), la répartition ou la simultanéité des contacts, quelle que soit la modalité de traitement. Le CF était situé antérieurement chez les patients de sexe féminin à tout temps (p=0,002). La mise en place fonctionnelle semblait être terminée dès trois mois pour les deux groupes. Conclusion: La qualité de l’occlusion était comparable dans les deux groupes six mois après la dépose des appareils orthodontiques, signifiant l’absence d’influence du type de traitement à court terme. Le sexe féminin pourrait être associé à un CF plus antérieur même après six mois de mise en place fonctionnelle. / Objective: Following aligner therapy, a lack of posterior contacts is common and is expected to resolve with settling. The aim of the study was to compare the quality of occlusion and settling, immediately after treatment and during a retention period of six months, in patients treated with fixed appliance therapy or clear aligners. Materials and Methods: 25 patients treated with fixed appliances and 14 patients treated with aligners were evaluated by a digital occlusal analysis (T-Scan 9) at time of debonding (T0) and 3 and 6 months later (T3 and T6). Subjects (41% female, average age 19.38 ± 5.98) were treated without extraction or maxillofacial surgery using either bonded wires or removable appliances without occlusal coverage as retainers. Contact symmetry, simultaneity and the antero-posterior position of the Center of Force (COF) were assessed at the time of debonding, and after 3 and 6 months of retention. Results: At all times of evaluation, the COF position was not statistically different for both treatment modalities (p=0.854), but was located more anteriorly in female patients when compared to male patients (p= 0.002). Settling appeared to be completed by 3 months in both groups. Conclusion: The quality of the occlusion was comparable after 6 months of settling when treated with either treatment modality indicating no short-term effect of treatment type. Females maintained a more anterior COF after six months of retention.

Contribution to the analysis and understanting of electrical-grid signals with signal processing and machine learning techniques / Contribution à l'analyse et à la compréhension des signaux des réseaux électriques par des techniques issues du traitement du signal et de l'apprentissage machine

Ce travail de thèse propose des approches d’identification et de reconnaissance des harmoniques de courant qui sont basées sur des stratégies d’apprentissage automatique. Les approches proposées s’appliquent directement dans les dispositifs d’amélioration de la qualité de l’énergie électrique.Des structures neuronales complètes, dotées de capacités d’apprentissage automatique, ont été développées pour identifier les composantes harmoniques d’un signal sinusoïdal au sens large et plus spécifiquement d’un courant alternatif perturbé par des charges non linéaires. L’identification des harmoniques a été réalisée avec des réseaux de neurones de type Multi–Layer Perceptron (MLP). Plusieurs schémas d’identification ont été développés, ils sont basés sur un réseau MLP composé de neurones linéaire ou sur plusieurs réseaux MLP avec des apprentissages spécifiques. Les harmoniques d’un signal perturbé sont identifiées avec leur amplitude et leur phase, elles peuvent servir à générer des courants de compensation pour améliorer la forme du courant électrique. D’autres approches neuronales a été développées pour reconnaître les charges. Elles consistent en des réseaux MLP ou SVM (Support Vector Machine) et fonctionnent en tant que classificateurs. Leur apprentissage permet à partir des harmoniques de courant de reconnaître le type de charge non linéaire qui génère des perturbations dans le réseau électrique. Toutes les approches d’identification et de reconnaissance des harmoniques ont été validées par des tests de simulation à l’aide des données expérimentales. Des comparaisons avec d’autres méthodes ont démontré des performances supérieures et une meilleure robustesse. / This thesis proposes identifying approaches and recognition of current harmonics that are based on machine learning strategies. The approaches are applied directly in the quality improvement devices of electric energy and in energy management solutions. Complete neural structures, equipped with automatic learning capabilities have been developed to identify the harmonic components of a sinusoidal signal at large and more specifically an AC disturbed by non–linear loads. The harmonic identification is performed with multilayer perceptron neural networks (MLP). Several identification schemes have been developed. They are based on a MLP neural network composed of linear or multiple MLP networks with specific learning. Harmonics of a disturbed signal are identified with their amplitude and phases. They can be used to generate compensation currents fed back into the network to improve the waveform of the electric current. Neural approaches were developed to distinguish and to recognize the types of harmonics and is nonlinear load types that are at the origin. They consist of MLP or SVM (Support Vector Machine) acting as classifier that learns the harmonic profile of several types of predetermined signals and representative of non–linear loads. They entry are the parameters of current harmonics of the current wave. Learning can recognize the type of nonlinear load that generates disturbances in the power network. All harmonics identification and recognition approaches have been validated by simulation tests or using experimental data. The comparisons with other methods have demonstrated superior characteristics in terms of performance and robustness.

Analýza externého prostredia odhaľuje možné príležitosti a hrozby na trhu. Na druhej strane, analýza interného prostredia prisieva k určeniu si silných a slabých stránok, a taktiež finančného zdravia spoločnosti. Výsledky analýz sú zosumarizované v SWOT analýze. V poslednom rade sú navrhnuté odporúčania a návrhy pre zlepšenie súčasnej situácie spoločnosti.

Odolnost spotřebičů na krátkodobé poklesy a výpadky napětí / The Appliances Immunity to Short Voltage Dips and Interruptions

This Ph.D. thesis deals with problems about voltage dips and short voltage interruptions, generally named as voltage events, which origin in power supply networks and have a negative influence for all connected electric appliances. In this thesis single phase appliances are considered. These problems closely relate with area of electromagnetic compatibility which solve all questions about correct operation of different types of electric appliances during electromagnetic disturbances impact. Voltage events are ones of the many types of electromagnetic disturbances. The connection between disturbance sources and sensitive electric appliances is created by power supply lines. The immunity of electric appliances to voltage dips and short interruptions is currently tested via voltage dips with strictly defined parameters which are intended by class of electromagnetic environment in which the usage of electric appliance is recommended. During immunity tests the rectangular shape of voltage dips is preferred. The main descriptive parameters of testing voltage events are the residual voltage and the event time duration. But voltage dips and short interruptions defined by this way do not closely relate with parameters of real voltage dips and interruptions occurred in public supply system where parameters of voltage dips are variable. Moreover in the power supply system there are many of others voltage parameters which can have a significant influence to immunity level of connected electric appliances. This Ph.D. thesis also deals with finding more voltage event parameters. Although the voltage events occurrence in the power supply system is not limited and voltage events are considered only as informative voltage parameter it is important to monitor voltage events occurrence. The monitoring device has to be able to operate for ling time period and it has to detect parameters of voltage events with adequate accuracy. The accuracy of detected event parameters and the detection delay depends on the detection algorithm characteristics. That is why the part of this thesis relates with a comparison of several detection algorithms and their abilities to correct detection of voltage event parameters. The main purpose of this thesis is the proposal of connection between classification of voltage dips and short interruptions occurred in power supply system with the classification of electric appliances immunity to these voltage events. On the base of many of provided electric appliances immunity tests and also on the base of long time period voltage events monitoring the special compatibility levels are proposed in this thesis. The observation of proposed compatibility levels will bring the increasing level of reliable operation of all connected electric appliances.
