<p>Denna uppsats behandlar effekterna av den ökande andelen visstidsanställda journalister på landets redaktioner. Fokus är journalisternas autonomi, det vill säga möjlighet att styra det egna arbetet och att agera självständigt. Mer specifikt behandlar uppsatsen vilken betydelse anställningsform har för hur journalister uppfattar sin autonomi.Studien är kvantitativ och består av enkätdata från Journalist 2005, vilken är den senaste av de journalistundersökningar i projektet Svenska Journalister som har genomförts vid Institutionen för Journalistik och Masskommunikation vid Göteborgs universitet, JMG.Teoretiskt utgår uppsatsen från forskning kring journalisters autonomi samt John Atkinsons teori om ”The Flexible Firm” där anställda förväntas vara uppdelade mellan en kärngrupp och en perifer grupp. Fyra hypoteser om vad som påverka autonomin har konstruerats och operationaliserats genom sex variabler; kön, ålder, kommersiell/icke-kommersiell, TV/radio, huvudsaklig arbetsuppgift och anställningsform. Dessa har sedan analyserat gentemot fem frågor som berör journalistens autonomi.Slutsatsen är att anställningsform och arbetsuppgifter är mer avgörande för hur journalisters upplever sin autonomi än kön och ålder.</p>

This study considered the relationship between psychopathology and love. Agape love was defined as spontaneous and selfless love. The hypothesis tested was that people demonstrating psychopathology would make fewer positive responses to statements reflecting love than people free of psychopathology. The MMPI was utilized to measure the presence of psychopathology. The Atkinson A Scale (developed for this study) measured agape responses. Both these instruments were administered to 102 subjects in three groups: hospital patients, seminary students, and psychology students. Mean agape scores were subjected to a one-way analysis of variance, Significant difference among the group means was detected at the p <.05 level. This dissertation examines a range of politicized artistic practices in Great Britain during the 1970s, a decade marked by economic decline and social fragmentation. The artists I primarily focus on in the pages that follow—William Furlong, Stephen Willats, Mary Kelly, and Conrad Atkinson—all appeared on Audio Arts, a “spoken magazine” distributed on audiocassette that was founded by Furlong in 1973. During the 1970s, Furlong, Willats, Kelly and Atkinson renegotiated their relationship to art institutions, expanded the role of the artist in society, and conceived of art as a form of political praxis, and this dissertation explores the strategies these artists devised to connect to publics outside the elite, bourgeois audience of art.

In this thesis I use the radical, pro-violent organization the Weathermen as a framework to examine women and feminisms complex relationships with violence. My thesis attempts to show the many belief systems that second wave feminists possessed concerning the role(s) of women and violence in revolutionary organizations. Hence, by using the Weathermen as a framework, I discuss various feminist essentialist and pacifist critiques of violence. I also include an analysis of feminists who, similar to the Weathermen, embraced political violence. For example, radical feminists Robin Morgan and Jane Alpert criticized the Weathermens violent tactics while other feminists such as Ti-Grace Atkinson and Valerie Solanas advocated that women pick up the gun in order to destroy patriarchal society. In addition, I analyze the stereotypes of the violent female, which have often been supported by feminists and non-feminists alike. Thus, the stereotyped nature of the violent female does not allow for the complexities that accompany the many reasons why women commit politically motivated crimes. Understanding the role women played in the Weathermen is an important task because womens roles and representation in radical, New Left organizations have often been ignored, overlooked and reproduced by revisionist analyses. Though revolutionary groups from the sixties and seventies were important and progressive in many ways, my thesis will examine the phenomenon of silencing womens voices in these organizations and how this silencing inspired women to find voice in their own movements. Furthermore, I am also interested in radical second wave feminists belief systems and histories concerning violence, particularly since they have rarely been delved into by historians or feminist researchers.

In the thesis, problems related to the moments of the periodic zeta-function are considered. The aim of the thesis is to obtain asymptotic formulae for some analytic objects related to the periodic zeta-function. The problems are the following: 1. To prove the Atkinson-type formula with a new error term in the critical strip for the periodic zeta-function with rational parameter. 2. To prove a mean square formula for the error term in the Atkinson-type formula on the critical line for the periodic zeta-function. 3. To prove a mean square formula for the error term in the Atkinson-type formula in the critical strip for the periodic zeta-function. 4. To obtain an asymptotic formula for the fourth power moment of the periodic zeta-function. / Disertacijos tyrimo objektas yra periodinė dzeta funkcija.
