The aim of this diploma thesis is detail description of theory, design process and final realization of single-purpose machine for pressing canister funnels. Theoretical section of this work covers manufacturing standards of the electrical cabinets, options for the single-purpose machine control with focus on the programmable logic controller e.g. PLC, PLC control program concept with definition of the main alarm states and description of two types of electrical cabinet. Practical part contains description of the electrical cabinet, its block diagram, photo documentation of the wiring (chapter 4.), chosen PLC type, its advantages and detail program description using Ladder diagram notation, communication with operator realized with touch LCD panel, programming environment for this LCD panel and program realization process. Finalized machine description and its photo documentation in manufacturing process is covered in the end. This diploma thesis is based and extends previously successfully defended semester project.

This diploma thesis deals with automatization technology by B&R Automation Company. CANopen protocol is used for communication and control design of actuator part of omni-directional mobile robot. The control algorithms are implemented for compact PLC automata X20 series. The PLC X20 communicates with PC by means of Ethernet TCP/IP protocol. There are four motion control patterns implemented. The robot uses three IclA D065 actuators. This research has been supported by the Czech Ministry of Education in the frame of MSM 0021630529 Research Intention Inteligent Systems in Automation.

The following diploma thesis deals with the management of asynchronous motor revolutions by a frequency converter MICROMASTER 440 via the programmable controller S7-200. At the beginning, I researched the company documentation of Siemens, which is the producer of the frequency converter and the programmable controller mentioned above. As my work proceeded, I also started to study the company documentation of Mitsubishi Electric, which produces the operating pannel. The first part of my thesis provides a general description of the stated devices and the second part deals with the solution of the task itself. My task was to design a way of communication between the converter and the controller. I chose a USS protocol via serial port RS-485. The operation of the controller was performed by using an operating terminal type GOT1000 which was connected to the controller. In summary, my diploma thesis primarily deals with the construction of an operating programme for the controller and with creating of a graphical control on the terminal. In the end, I evaluated the knowledge gained during the work on this subject and suggested further procedures.

The aim of the thesis is to design a special purpose tool for sag measurement. Three possible solutions are proposed, for each the production cycle time is calculated and its approximate costs are estimated. The best solution in terms of a trade-off between both key quantities is suggested. Next part of the work deals with the selection of suitable drives for the manipulator as well as of the other components for the whole electrical device. Finally, a possible automated control of the complete machinery, including the electrical wiring diagram, is presented.

Výpočet je v těchto prezentovaných systémech řízen pomocí slov patřících do konečného řídícího jazyka, kde každé slovo z tohoto jazyka je složeno ze stavů komponent systému. Dále byla v této práci studována výpočetní síla zavedených systémů. Praktické použití zavedených systémů bylo demonstrováno na příkladu z oblasti překladu přirozených jazyků a dále na příkladu z oblasti paralelního překladu.

Nondeterministic finite automaton is an important tool, which is used to process strings in many different areas of programming. It is important to try to reduce its size for increasing programs' effectiveness. However, this problem is computationally hard, so we need to search for new techniques. Basics of finite automata are described in this work. Some methods for their reduction are then introduced. Usable reduction algorithms are described in greater detail. Then they are implemented and tested. The test results are finally evaluated.

The main goal of this thesis is to design control board for the experimental electroporation device and to develop control firmware. The first chapter of this work focuses on the electroporation phenomenon itself. Behaviour of the cell model in external electrical field is described there as well as simulation and overview of how electroporation affects living tissue. It also explains the main requirements for parameters of the electroporation pulses as well as need for ECG synchronization. Furthermore, some remarks are given about novel high frequency electroporation method, which involves use of nanosecond bipolar high voltage pulse bursts. The second chapter briefly introduces commercial electroporation device called Nanoknife, including control part, power part, and it's limits. The third chapter consists of introduction of the novel experimental electroporation device developed at BUT. Power part of this device is discussed as well. Next chapter focuses on design of the control board for this device and also on description of the particular schematic parts. There is a control algorithm explanation in the fifth chapter of this thesis followed by the brief manual to machine operation.

The work deals with a new concept of the drive spindle, where the spindles are driven by external asynchronous motor through the gears with internal teeth attached to the outside of the spindle drum instead of the current method of driven by central coaxial shaft. The thesis research of multi-spindle lathes including a description of the main nodes, design, strength calculations, bearing durability and a simulation model for simulation acceleration and load drives and spindles from the cutting process.

In this Doktorarbeit the Lattice Boltzmann scheme, a heuristic method for the
simulation of flows in complicated boundaries, is investigated. Its theory is
renewed by emphasizing the entropy maximization principle, and new means
for the modelling of geometries (including moving boundaries) and the visual
representation of evoluting flows are presented. An object oriented implemen-
tation is given with communication between objects realized by an interpreter
object and communication from outside realized via interprocess communica-
tion. Within the new theoretical apprach the applicability of existing Lattice
Boltzmann schemes to model thermal flows for arbitrary temperatures is reex-
amined. / In dieser Doktorarbeit wird das Gitter-Boltzmann-Schema, eine heuristische Methode
fuer die Simulation von Stroemungen innerhalb komplexer Raender, untersucht. Die
zugrundeliegende Theorie wird unter neuen Gesichtspunkten, insbesondere dem Prinzip
der Entropiemaximierung, betrachtet. Des weiteren werden neuartige Methoden fuer
die Modellierung der Geometrie (einschl. beweglicher Raender) und der visuellen
Darstellung aufgezeigt. Eine objektorientierte Implementierung wird vorgestellt,
wobei die Kommunikation zwischen den Objekten über Interpreter-Objekte und die
Kommunikation mit der Aussenwelt ueber Interprozess-Kommunikation gehandhabt wird.
Mit dem neuen theoretischen Ansatz wird die Gueltigkeit bestehender
Gitter-Boltzmann-Schemata fuer die Anwendung auf Stroemungen mit nicht
konstanter Temperatur untersucht.
