La construction de l'Etat Barrois (1301 - 1420) / The Building of the State of Bar (1301-1420)

Bouyer, Mathias 13 December 2010 (has links)
During the 14thcentury, the principality of Bar progressively turns into a genuine State. The prince relies largely on its seigniorial legacy. The dynasty is unchallenged. The domain, rather large for the region, is efficiently ruled and defended, in spite of insuficient ressources. In building the State, the prince can rely on an important network of obedient liegemen, an emergent elite of commoners, mainly financers and scholars, but slightly less on a weak Church which, incidentaly, does not have a proper financial support. Since 1301, the prince is a liegeman of the king of France for the "Barrois Mouvant". The king tries to introduce some elements of sovereignty but meets failure, except for judiciar appeals. He can nevertheless count on the prince of Bar who, in addition to being a faithful liegeman, is a true french lord, raised in the royal court and, after 1364, brother-in-law of the king. The shaping of the State has thus a french influence. The sovereignty of the prince of Bar can nearly express itself in its entirety, even in the "Barrois Mouvant". The central government grows thanks to the establishment of secretaries and of an Court of account. The Household, witness of the splendour of the prince, grows too. The State asserts itself in exercisinig justice for which the local administration is strenghened. To deal with the debt of the prince, a new tax system is introduced. This State has to face the neighbouring principalities for the hegemony over the region, but the forces being equal a statu quo is maintained: the matrimonial union between the principalities of Bar and Lorraine is an inevitable evolution.

Alva Coras, Patricia Noemi, Pacco Coronado, Ada Rosa, Pacheco Muñante, Flor Viviana 08 March 2016 (has links)
Tesis

A Cinematographic Comparison of Two Long-Hang Kip Techniques on the Horizontal Bar

Cox, Pamela S. 08 1900 (has links)
This study used cinematography to determine differences in velocity, acceleration, moments of force, and body centers of gravity in four different positions of two techniques of the long-hang kip. Three female gymnasts performed five attempts of each technique: the traditional method, with an arch in the lower back at the end of the forward swing, and approximate shoulder angle of 180 degrees or more; and the newer method, with no arch in the lower back and approximate shoulder angle of 90 degrees or less. Three. USGF-rated judges scored the kips, and due to inability to distinguish between the two techniques, two subjects were eliminated. Major differences occurred in the swing extension, with the newer technique producing more velocity and a higher center of gravity throughout the movement.

\"... da força da grana que ergue e destrói coisas belas\": uma etnografia dos circuitos de lazer noturno em Londrina - PR a partir do Bar Valentino / \"...the force of money that raises and destroy beautiful things\": an ethnography of the evening entertainment circuits in Londrina - PR from Bar Valentino

Meira, Thomás Antonio Burneiko 06 March 2009 (has links)
Since the opening of the Bar Valentino, in 1979, has built a cozy relationship between its space and the development of artistic events in the city of Londrina, located on the north of the state of Paraná, Brazil. For the artistic references that acquired over time and by its central location, the Bar Valentino has become a main point of meeting of Londrina, joined groups of young people from different areas of the city, setting itself as an area of confluence between its circuits. In 2006, due to the sale of the land where the space remained for 27 years, the Bar Valentino abandoned the city center, moving to a neighborhood relatively noble, so that such circuits were reconfigured. Given this situation, this study aimed to identify and interpret both old and current circuits of visitors on this area, linking them to the current phase of growth and expansion of the city of Londrina, both physical and space scope as the sociability.
