The master thesis focuses on defining a new business model of a selected company operating in the field of information systems development and web applications. Based on theoretical knowledge, the thesis analyzes the strategic position of the company and then proposes a new business model. The final part contains an evaluation of the defined variants of development and risk assessment.

This diploma thesis is focused on the development of business activities of company H SORTA s.r.o., dealing with the sale of engineering goods. The aim of the thesis was to develop a proposal for the possibility of expanding activities based on the evaluation of analyzes of the external and internal environment. The results showed that for the company is the best to use strengths to take advantage of opportunities. At the end of the work are formulated steps for the introduction of a new range of products, which will ensure the development of the company through increased sales and awareness of the company.

O presente estudo examina, sob o enfoque do Direito Brasileiro, a captação de recursos por empresas viáveis em crise, durante o processo de recuperação judicial, por meio do mercado de capitais, especificamente com a cessão de direitos creditórios a Fundos de Investimento em Direitos Creditórios. Em alguns casos, os FIDCs podem consistir em uma alternativa constante de captação de recursos, a custos consideravelmente menores que os praticados por instituições financeiras. Todavia, muitos cuidados e precauções devem ser tomados nas cessões de créditos a FIDCs, a fim de garantir segurança e transparência aos investidores e aos credores das empresas em recuperação. / This research examines, from the Brazilian Law focus, the fund-raising for viable Companies in crisis, during the judiciary reorganization procedure, through the capital markets, specifically with the assignment of receivables to Receivables Funds. In some cases, these investment funds may consist of an usual-recurrent alternative, with considerably lower costs than those charged by financial institutions. However, many precautions should be taken in the FIDCs credit assignments in order to ensure safety and transparency to investors and companies creditors.

Anskaffning av programvara kan ses som en möjlighet att utveckla ett företag och dess affärsverksamhet. Det finns idag ett stort utbud av standardiserade programvaror att välja emellan. Sådana produkter brukar i dagligt tal kallas för standardsystem. Dessa kan köpas på den öppna marknaden eller vara system som återanvänds mellan företag. Det görs en del felinvesteringar när företag anskaffar standardsystem. Många standardsystem ger inte önskade resultat för verksamheten eller förblir i vissa fall oanvända på företagen. Detta ledde mig in på frågan om en systematisk metod för upphandling av standardsystem kan förbättra situationen. Syftet med denna avhandling har därför varit att konstruera metodik för anskaffning av standardsystem som ett led i att utveckla verksamheter hos företag och organisationer. Mer precist förelåg tre huvudmål för studien: Att utveckla en metod för anskaffning av standardsystem som ger stöd åt företags affärsverksamheter. Att pröva metodens användbarhet, genomförbarhet och logiska uppbyggnad med hjälp av empiri och teori inom området. Att vidareutveckla metoden utifrån gjorda erfarenheter och framförda förändringsbehov från metodprövningen. Metoden som utvecklats och prövats benämns genomgående "SIV-metoden" (Standardsystem I Verksamheter). The main objective of this thesis was to assess the property structure in the selected company, focusing on amenities, the level and effectiveness of the tangible assets as a basis for evaluating investment activity and its impact on the overall management of the company.

Bakgrund och problemdiskussion: Riskhanteringsprocessen utformas på olika sätt i olika företag och den behöver anpassas till både interna och externa förändringar eftersom företag verkar i olika miljöer och utsätts därmed för olika sorters risk. Förutom detta blir även riskhanteringsprocessen en särskilt betydelsefull process för företag som bedriver samhällsviktiga verksamheter eftersom de är av yttersta vikt för samhällets funktion. Idag existerar det en stor mängd litteratur om ämnet riskhantering men vi fann en frånvaro av forskning som studerar den praktiska tillämpningen av riskhanteringsprocessen och styrningen genom hela processen. Syfte: Studiens syfte är att undersöka hur riskhanteringsprocessen är utformad och hur den styrs för att bidra med ökad kunskap om vilka element som är av kritisk karaktär i processen. Studien avser även att undersöka hur hela organisationen och dess intressenter inkluderas i riskarbetet. Metod: För att uppfylla studiens syfte har vi utfört en kvalitativ enfallsstudie på företaget E.ON Sverige. För att samla in det empiriska materialet har intervjuer tillämpats, både personliga och telefonintervjuer. Totalt genomfördes fem intervjuer vilka även har kompletterats med återkommande samtal med våra huvudkontakter på E.ON under hela studiens gång. Slutsats: De kritiska momenten i en riskhanteringsprocess är intern kommunikation samt att företag måste beakta sina intressentgruppers krav och intressen och ta hänsyn till dessa vid utformandet av företagets riskhanteringsprocess. / Background and problem discussion: The risk management process needs to be designed based on the specific company, and adapted to both internal and external circumstances and changes since every company operates in different environments and is therefore subject to different types of risks. Meanwhile, the risk management process is especially crucial for companies whose activities have a major impact on the function of the society. Today’s literature within the subject risk management covers a vast range, however, we identified an absence of research that focuses on the practical implementation of risk management and the control throughout its whole process. Purpose: The purpose of the study is to examine how the risk management process is designed and how it is governed in order to contribute with increased insights regarding what elements are critical in the process. Moreover, the study aims to investigate how the organization as a whole, including its stakeholders, is involved in its work with risk management. Method: In order to fulfill the purpose of the study, a qualitative single case study was applied at the company E.ON Sweden. Both personal interviews as well as phone interviews were carried out with the intention of gathering empirical material. In total, five interviews were held, and they have been supplemented with recurring conversations with the main contacts at E.ON throughout the stages of the research. Conclusion: The critical elements in the risk management process lie within the internal communication and in respecting the stakeholders’ demands as well as considering these while formulating the risk management process for the company.

The presented thesis deals with the development of microregion Rakovnicko with regard to the area of tourism. The main objective of the study was to find out what kind of options has the surveyed region for supporting business activities in the field of tourism. The operational objective was to describe the limits of business development in this area. The objectives were obtained through analysis of the state of particular business support tools. The analysis covered the past and the current state of support tools, and the final conclusion was drawn within each of them.

The theoretical part summarizes knowledge from the areas of management, marketing, and business activities, and it also presents selected analytical methods. The analytical part looks at the current situation of the company through its internal and external environment. The last part provides recommendations leading to the development of the company and its business activities.

The thesis focuses on the development of business activities of the company TV PROBBE s.r.o on a foreign market. The bussiness activities of the company include production, wholesale and retail of pet food and pet-supplies. The theoretical part summarizes the findings which serve as a base for the other parts of the thesis. The analytical part evaluates the current situation of the company's external and internal environment. The last part contains recommendations, the implementation of which should lead to the development of the company's business activities.
