Um método para a implementação de regras de negócio à partir da semântica SBVR / A method to business rule implementation from SBVR semantic

Jesus, Jandisson Soares de 04 November 2013 (has links)
The implementation of business rules in an information system is not an easy task. This happens because most of the models used to represent them capture only the meaning of the rules and do not provide means to make them to be effectively implemented. In this work we provide an approach for the translation from a SBVR semantic description of business rules into a implementation model. This was done by mapping all relevant elements of the SBVR semantic representation into a $\\pi$-calculus event-driven model. On this model will be described explicitly all the events that must be monitored in order to identify when some rule may have been violated. This makes the business rule implementation easier because there is a explicit indication of the moment when make sense to do a verification in order to see if any rule was violated. Besides that, it easier the business rule management since the rules stay separate from the others elements of the system architecture and in this way can be managed independently.

Veiklos taisyklių redaktorius / A Business Rules Editor

Miklovienė, Rasa 24 September 2004 (has links)
Nowadays, nearly all of the commercial and government organizations are highly dependent on software systems. Due to the inherent dynamic nature of their business environment, software evolution is inevitable. The changes generated by business policies and operations are propagated onto software system. A large portion of total lifecycle cost is devoted to introduce new requirements, and remove or change existing requirements. However, the evolution of a successful software system is inevitable for the software to remain useful in its environment. Many research projects attempt to find a more applicable way for building a software system that is adaptive to changes. They strive to propose a software model, or architecture, that has the ability to minimize the effect of changes as well as providing requirements traceability in their model. Most of them utilize the benefit of object-oriented, distributed system, software architecture and component-based technologies. Our research attempts to address these issues in a slightly different way namely by considering business rules as volatile part of a software system. In this position paper, we introduce a software architecture which includes a link model that aims to reduce the effects of software changes by improving requirements traceability. When we have analyse this problem, we decide to make the program, which will have ability to resolve business rules isolation from all program code problem. The main purpose in this... [to full text]

SAP išplėtimas adaptuojamų taikomųjų programų kūrimui / SAP Expansion for Adaptive Applications Development

Dundulis, Raimundas 05 June 2006 (has links)
The research work is focused on analysis of possibilities of business rules formalization, storage in database tables, user friendliness improvement, and rules management. Business rules have been taken into investigation not long ago. Possibilities of using business rules in business software are still being defined. Formalization and usage of business rules in IT systems is very important, because rules are very often in any business, and any rule has a strong tendency to change over time. The changes of rules are caused by dynamic laws, competitors’ decisions, changing environment in the market, and many other factors. Business rules influence and guide the behavior of employees (influence on business), influence the information that is recorded in IT systems as well as restrict the modification of this information (influence on IT). The practical task of the work is to design and to develop a business rules management system for usage in SAP environment. The system should optimize the work of coders during the development and maintenance of additional functions for SAP R/3 ERP system.

Verslo taisyklių panaudojimas duomenų analizei metamodelių transformacijų pagrindu / Metamodel based transformation method for business rule driven data analysis

Rima, Audrius 16 August 2007 (has links)
Didėjantis duomenų kiekis šiuolaikinėse informacinėse sistemose verčia ieškoti geresnių ir patogesnių priemonių ir metodų šių duomenų analizei. Esant dideliam duomenų kiekiui žmogus nebegali aprėpti informacijos įvairovės, atrasti logines sąsajas tampa sudėtinga, todėl reikalingos priemonės, kurios palengvintų, automatizuotų ir intelektualizuotų duomenų analizę. Šiame darbe nagrinėjamas verslo taisyklių pritaikymas intelektualizuotai duomenų analizei. Darbe pasiūlomas metodas leidžiantis verslo taisykles, užrašytas XML kalba, transformuoti iki daugiamatės duomenų analizės instrukcijų programų sistemoje. Pasiūlytas metodas grindžiamas metamodelių transformacijomis. Verslo taisyklių valdymo sistemų taikymo įmonėse tyrimas / A Study on Applying of Business Rules Management Systems in Enterprises

Avdejenkov, Vladimir 04 May 2009 (has links)
Enterprise Resource Planning, toliau – ERP) sistemose. Darbo tikslas – patobulinti verslo taisyklių valdymo sistemų (angl. Business Rules Management Systems) integraciją į įmonių naudojamas resursų valdymo sistemas ir pasiūlyti integracijos metodą. Naudojant pasiūlytą metodą, verslo taisyklių valdymo sistemas į ERP sistemas galima integruoti naudojant aktyviųjų duomenų bazių valdymo sistemų (toliau – ADBVS) trigerius. Šis metodas tinka, kai kitų integracijos metodų naudojimas neįmanomas arba ekonomiškai nepagrįstas. Jis leidžia verslo taisykles kurti, keisti, valdyti ir diegti centralizuotai. Be to, galimybę keisti bei valdyti verslo taisykles turi ne tik programuotojai, bet ir verslininkai. Tai leidžia sumažinti verslo taisyklių kūrimo, keitimo bei administravimo kaštus. Šis metodas taip pat užtikrina sistemos judrumą. / The dissertation analyses problems of using business rules and business rules management systems in business management information systems of enterprises. The main subject of the study is the use of business rules and business rules management systems in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. The objective of this study is to improve integration of Business Rules Management Systems into current Enterprise Resource Planning systems. With the use of the method proposed for the integration of business rules into ERP systems, business rules may be integrated into ERP systems with the help of active database management system triggers. This method is suitable when the use of other methods of integration is either impossible or not cost-efficient. The method allows to create, edit, manage and install business rules centrally. Moreover, a potential to change and manage the rules is intended not only for programmers, but also for business people. This allows to reduce costs of creation, editing and administration of business rules. Also, this method ensures a better system agility.

Leveraging service-oriented business applications to a rigorous rule-centric dynamic behavioural architecture

Alqahtani, Ali January 2010 (has links)
Today’s market competitiveness and globalisation are putting pressure on organisations to join their efforts, to focus more on cooperation and interaction and to add value to their businesses. That is, most information systems supporting these cross-organisations are characterised as service-oriented business applications, where all the emphasis is put on inter-service interactions rather than intra-service computations. Unfortunately for the development of such inter-organisational service-oriented business systems, current service technology proposes only ad-hoc, manual and static standard web-service languages such as WSDL, BPEL and WS-CDL [3, 7]. The main objective of the work reported in this thesis is thus to leverage the development of service-oriented business applications towards more reliability and dynamic adaptability, placing emphasis on the use of business rules to govern activities, while composing services. The best available software-engineering techniques for adaptability, mainly aspect-oriented mechanisms, are also to be integrated with advanced formal techniques. More specifically, the proposed approach consists of the following incremental steps. First, it models any business activity behaviour governing any service-oriented business process as Event-Condition-Action (ECA) rules. Then such informal rules are made more interaction-centric, using adapted architectural connectors. Third, still at the conceptual-level, with the aim of adapting such ECA-driven connectors, this approach borrows aspect-oriented ideas and mechanisms, and proposes to intercept events, select the properties required for interacting entities, explicitly and separately execute such ECA-driven behavioural interactions and finally dynamically weave the results into the entities involved. To ensure compliance and to preserve the implementation of this architectural conceptualisation, the work adopts the Maude language as an executable operational formalisation. For that purpose, Maude is first endowed with the notions of components and interfaces. Further, the concept of ECA-driven behavioural interactions are specified and implemented as aspects. Finally, capitalising on Maude reflection, the thesis demonstrates how to weave such interaction executions into associated services.
