Porovnání jednotělesové a dvoutělesové parní turbíny / Comparison of single-cylinder and double-cylinder steam turbines

Bunček, Patrik January 2021 (has links)
The master thesis deals with design and comparison of condensing steam turbine for steam-gas cycle for single-cylinder and double-cylinder body with air condenser at its end, one regulated take and ability to use additive steam. Thesis is based on the calculation of thermal scheme which is followed by a preliminary and subsequently a detailed design of steam turbine. Thermodynamic efficiency for single-cylinder turbine was calculated at 93,28 % with terminal power 136,2 MW. The design procedure was repeated for a double-cylinder body. Calculated terminal power for two-cylinder turbine was 134,4 MW with thermodynamic efficiency of 92.1%. By dividing turbine into two rotors resulting low-pressure turbine has a smaller rotor diameter, a longer blade and at the same time a larger number of stages. For double-cylinder turbine, it was necessary to consider twice the number of seals and radial bearings. Due to the increase in flow diameter of low-pressure turbine, losses related to the geometry of the stage increased. Thesis is supplemented by a section drawing of steam turbine with higher efficiency.

Zásobník krmných směsí / Feedeng mixture bin

Frydrych, Martin January 2009 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with proposal and construction of feeding mixture bin in two variants. The variant No. 1 has a capacity 53m3 with hopper angle 60° and the variant No. 2 has a capacity 45m3 with hopper angle 45°. The proposal of both variants of feeding mixture bin was worked out according to parameters of assignment and technical literature. Further it was made a calculation of wind load, snow load and a power reacting on bearing structure of bin in direction of thoroughfare. Technical documentation consists of configurations variant No. 1 and 2, chosen welding subassemblies and details of parts of variant No. 1 of feeding mixture bin.

Plynofikace uhelného kotle 210 t/h; 13,63 MPa; 540 °C / Gasification of coal boiler 210 t/h; 13,63 MPa; 540 °C

Zajíc, Josef January 2013 (has links)
This thesis aims to gas installation of the coal boiler and its thermal recount. In the first part, there is implemented calculation of the combusting chamber. After that follows the recalculation of heat exchange surfaces and proposal tube air heater, which will replace the existing air heater Ljungström. The emphasis is placed on the preservation of the exsiting steam parametrs and keeps emission limit of NOx.

Systemic Investigation of Ga2O3 from Material to Device

zhang, zichang 01 December 2020 (has links)
Ga2O3, which is a novel and ultra-wide band gap oxide semiconductor material, has attracted more and more attention due to its chemical and thermal stability and various potential applications to devices. This dissertation focuses on systemic investigation of β-Ga2O3 and ε- Ga2O3 from fundamental material properties, device modeling and verification of circuit performance. ab initio calculation was employed to do theoretical investigation of material properties. Based on Generalized Gradient Approximations (GGA), we calculate the band structure, effective mass of electron, density of states and phonon band structure. However, calculated band gap is only 2.36 eV and 2.16 eV, which is much lower than experimental measured value. In order to overcome the underestimation, the GGA+U method was carried out for both materials. band gap as 4.8 eV and 5.0 eV are finally identified, which have a good agreement with experimental results. Device simulation is done with Monte Carlo (MC) method and Drift-Diffusion method. Firstly, we used traditional ensemble MC to calculate the mobility of bulk material. We found conventional phonon scattering model cannot capture electron-phonon interaction (EPI) very well due to complex phonon structure of β-Ga2O3. Therefore, a refined MC method was proposed. By including multi-phonon scattering model, the refined MC works very well with multi-phonon modes EPI. The calculated mobility of bulk material is 118 cm2/(V•s), which is close to measured 120 cm2/(V•s). Using obtained mobility, the performance of depletion-mode β-Ga2O3 MOSFET was simulated in Silvaco TCAD.

Stability Analysis of Shallow Tunnel of Norra Länken

Imran Khan, Rana Muhammad Sajid, Man Shrestha, Kabindra January 2011 (has links)
Shallow Tunneling through highly populated areas of big cities is a challenging task. Almost in all the tunneling projects of shallow tunnel some or the other types of tunneling problems have been encountered and are still being faced. The stability of shallow tunnel is also influenced by many factors, primarily the in situ stress, geological structures, groundwater, rock mass quality, shape of tunnel etc. The design of shallow tunnel in past was almost purely a matter of experience. During last decays computational methods have been introduced as powerful design aids tool to arrive at safe and economical shallow tunnel structure. The purpose of this thesis work is to provide technical criteria and guidance for the design, and stability of Norra Länken shallow tunnel in rock for civil works projects. The design of shallow tunnels in highly dense areas is an iterative process. A good starting point is essential to the process and facilitates safe and economic design. Currently there are many practical two and three-dimensional software tools available for carrying out the task. This master thesis provides an overview of a methodology being used by tunneling experts, which captures the three-dimensional essentials of tunnel behaviour with two-dimensional analysis tools, PLAXIS. Though it is not a full and final situation and conclusion, but there is a lot to learn from such conditions .
