This work deals with the gifted children and their education possibilities in Czech schools. The work is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part we first look in what talent is, we will explain different terms which are similar in meaning to the word talent and how to differentiate between them, we will introduce models of talent by various authors and also the basic types of talent. Further I mention the characteristics of the gifted children and how to use these characteristics to identify them. Subsequently, we divide the gifted children into different categories depending on the manifestations of their talents. Significant part of this work is the education of the gifted children, which I split into education at school and out of school. I describe concrete forms of education and possibilities of work with the gifted children and I evaluate their pros and cons. By out of school activities I mean family environment and organizations and institutions focused on education of the gifted children. The rest of the theoretical part I provide summary of this of this topic in the Czech Republic and also what is the situation with education of the pedagogues of the gifted children. The practical part includes a questionnaire and its evaluation aimed at finding the...

Funkční profil výkonnostních hráčů billiardu / Functional Profile of Performance Billiard Players

Manda, Filip January 2014 (has links)
Title: Functional Profile of Performance Billiard Players Objectives: The main aim of thesis was to find out maximal functional characteristics and body composition of performance billiard players by using laboratory testing. Next step was to define load intensity during simulated match. Methods: There were used biomedical measurements as a body measuring, bioelectrical impedance, laboratory spiroergometric measuring by maximal stress testing. Field spiroergometric measuring was provide during simulated match in pool hall. To find the role of physical fitness in performance billiard were used half structured interview with open questions and online survey. Results: The findings show that tested billiard players achieve levels of physical fitness from average to very good values. But some of them are classified as overweight and obese. Long-time playing billiard does not have any important influence on asymetric composition of muscle mass of upper limbs. During playing billiard an oxygen consumption didn't get over 30% of VO2max and values of heart rate were between 39 to 59% HRmax. During playing billiard an energy expenditure grows from 222 to 330% of BM. Billiard energetic demands of tested players are moving between 14,6 kJ to 29,3 kJ. Another result of thesis is a statement about the role of...

Teisinė sąmonė kaip kriminologinė kategorija / Legal consciousness as a criminological category

Nevardauskienė, Loreta 19 December 2006 (has links)
In this work author is analysing problematics of determination of legal consciousness as a category of criminology. This objective is being achieved through examination of the characteristics of legal consciousness, the impact of sociostructure of legal consciousness on legal reality and its functional features through interaction with legal reality; causality of social origin of legal consciousness and problematics of the complex of factors causing criminality; importance of legal consciousness in the process of socialization of an individual and in the mechanism of criminal behaviour; the place of which legal consciousness is undertaking in the system of features of criminogenical personality. Seeking to prove that the legal consciousness of a criminogenical personality is deformed, an empirical research in the form of a questionnaire „Female criminal behaviour and their legal consciousness“ was undertaken in the Panevėžys Penitentiary. By generalizing the results of the research made, author has established that the legal consciousness of majority of women, behaving in a criminal way, were inclined in legal nihilism - they were neglecting social and personal value of law and seeing it as a poor regulator of social relations.

Gydytojo santykių su pacientu etiniai aspektai / Ethical aspects of Doctor-Patient Relationship

Basevičius, Mindaugas 11 June 2013 (has links)
[toliau žr. visą tekstą] / Ethical aspects of doctor-patient communication have always been and remain some of the major moral issues of high public development and awareness. The factors characterizing the patient's attitude to the doctor determine the equivalent communication between the patient and the physician, and physician’s awareness, human qualities and quality improvement is one of the priority health care challenges. Delivery of modern health care services must be performed at a level that would not be patient complaints about doctors, but they do not avoid "risky" patients. This paper analyzes the factors which have or may have an impact on doctor-patient relationships, presents recommendations on necessary factors or actions that need to be implemented in order to establish a mutually beneficial doctor-patient communication. Aim of the work: to evaluate doctors opinion regarding the doctors-patients communication peculiarity and ethical aspects of such communication in doctors relationships with patient. Methods of the research: the anonymous questionnaire survey of physicians was organised in Druskininkai hospital at 2011, on the specialized trainings organised by “Medical Association”. 2440 doctors of various specialties participated in the survey. The questionnaire data were processed and analyzed using the statistical data analysis package SPSS 17.0. Hypotheses about the independence of two signs were tested using the chi-square (χ2) test (97). Differences of indicators were considered... [to full text]

Vybrané geometrické vlastnosti trajektorií Brownova pohybu / On Selected Geometric Properties of Brownian Motion Paths

Honzl, Ondřej January 2012 (has links)
Title: On Selected Geometric Properties of Brownian Motion Paths Author: Mgr. Ondřej Honzl E-mail Address: honzl@karlin.mff.cuni.cz Department: Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Supervisor: Prof. RNDr. Jan Rataj, CSc. E-mail Address: rataj@karlin.mff.cuni.cz Department: Mathematical Institute, Charles University Abstract: Our thesis is focused on certain geometric properties of Brownian motion paths. Firstly, it deals with cone points of Brownian motion in the plane and we show some connections between cone points and critical points of Brownian motion. The motivation of the study of critical points is provided by a pleasant behavior of the distance function outside of the set of these points. We prove the theorem on a non-existence of π+ cone points on fixed line. This statement leads us to the conjecture that there are only countably many critical points of the Brownian motion path in the plane. Next, the thesis discusses an asymptotic behavior of the surface area of r-neigh- bourhood of Brownian motion, which is called Wiener sausage. Using the proper- ties of a Kneser function, we prove the claim about the relation of the Minkowski content and S-content. As the consequence, we obtain a limit behavior of the surface area of the Wiener sausage almost surely in dimension d ≥ 3. Finally,...

Typologie autorské pohádky: Karel Čapek a Jiří Mahen / The typology of literary fairy tale: Karel Čapek and Jiří Mahen

GVOŽDIÁKOVÁ, Tereza January 2013 (has links)
This thesis aims to cover basic typological similarities and differences in the work of Karel Čapek and Jiří Mahen, specifically in their fairy-tales. First, we present the characteristics of fairy tales viewed from different perspectives - in terms of theories about its origin, in terms of shaping during the history, from the position of terminology and definition of the genre as a complex. We also create a summary of specifics for both types of fairy-tale - literary and oral, because we want to find and define the similarities in which is literary fairy-tale close to oral ones, while using Propp´s Morphofology of fairy-tales. In the next chapter we will try to reconstruct the concurrent resonance of both works. In the end we will create a summary of all achieved knowledge and their comparison.
