É apresentada uma comparação entre diversas linguagens declarativas relacionadas à especificação de interfaces de usuário, todas baseadas em XML. É feita então uma proposta de uso da linguagem XForms, conjuntamente com CSS, na definição de interfaces de usuário destes dispositivos, como alternativa à solução vigente. Como meio de validar a proposta, é definido um modelo para a interface de usuário, tendo como base um telefone celular existente no mercado. Em seguida é descrito como XForms e CSS podem ser utilizados na especificação da interface de usuário dos dispositivos correspondentes a este modelo. São incluídas uma proposta de arquitetura e as extensões necessárias à linguagem XForms. Este trabalho demonstra a necessidade de um número reduzido de extensões para que XForms e CSS possam ser utilizados com este propósito. / Abstract: This work describes several problems related to user interface development that currently affect the industry of portable devices. We present a brief comparison between existing declarative languages based on XML related to user interface specification. We propose the use of XForms and CSS as an alternative to the current approach. In order to validate the proposal, a model for the user interface is presented, based on existing cellular phones on the market. We show how XForms and CSS could be used as user interface definition languages for the portable devices based on that model. It is included an architecture proposal and the required extensions to the W3C XForms recommendations. This experiment is based on the project one computer per student (Project UCA), which is the introduction of an Educational Laptop in the daily life of the students, inside and outside the classroom. The objective of this exploratory study is to identify and to analyze the indications of changes that the introduction of the Educational Laptop brings to the classroom management and organization. The use of mobile and individual technology is a trend that is occurring in all the sectors in the society. In the education, there are experiments that are occurring in some parts of the world, they are searching an option for the development of a low cost equipment with connection to the Internet that can make possible the use of it by the students in any place inside and outside the school, but with a differentiated technology just for educational use. From the purpose initially collected, they had been confirmed that the presence of Educational Laptop in classroom brought alterations in the dynamics of the lesson and the teachers had needed to find new forms to manage the lesson that in such a way involves changes in the planning of the lessons as in their pedagogical practice / A Proposta deste trabalho é realizar um estudo exploratório sobre um experimento em andamento em uma escola pública localizada na cidade de Palmas, no estado de Tocantins. Este experimento é baseado no projeto um computador por aluno (Projeto UCA) que é a introdução de um Laptop Educacional no cotidiano dos alunos, dentro e fora da sala de aula. O objetivo deste estudo exploratório é de identificar e analisar os indícios de mudanças que a introdução do Laptop Educacional traz na gestão e organização da sala de aula. O uso de tecnologia móvel e individual é uma tendência que esta ocorrendo em todos os setores da sociedade. Na educação, existem experimentos ocorrendo em várias partes do mundo, buscando uma opção para o desenvolvimento de um equipamento de baixo custo com conexão à Internet, mas com tecnologia diferenciada para uso educacional, possibilitando que os alunos possam usá-lo em qualquer local, dentro ou fora da escola. Dos pressupostos inicialmente levantados foram confirmados que a presença do Laptop Educacional em sala de aula trouxe alterações na dinâmica da aula e os professores precisaram encontrar novas formas de gerir a aula que envolve mudanças tanto no planejamento das aulas como na prática pedagógica

Thus, the present study aims to analyze the emerging teaching practices from the insertion of mobile computers, in the Project One Computer per Student, , in three schools of the region of Big Florianópolis. In order to do so, we tried to understand, from a brief historical and etymological study of the concepts that permeate the teaching profession, its knowledge and practices in order to understand how these are constituted and if there are changes in the teaching practices when developed in environments permeated by the ICDT. We used qualitative methods to develop empirical studies in the selected schools; thus, we opted for the non-participant observation and for semi-structured interviews as instruments of collected data. As results we obtained a total of 50 watched classes and around three hours or recorded interviews, which were transcribed and pre-analyzed in order to unravel the categories to be posteriorly analyzed in the perspective of Content Analysis, proposed by Lawrence Bardin. The present study points that the developed teaching techniques in environments permeated by the ICDT, and more precisely by the mobile computers of the UCA Project, are still far from being considered as mediators, once they still repeat established models by the profession along its history. It still points the need of development and deepening of a curriculum which allies the possibilities of ICDT with school contents, the Web Curriculum, as Almeida and Valente propose (2012). We also understand that this study does not exhaust the possibilities of analysis of teaching practices in educational environments permeated by the ICDT. This happens for we understand that such practices are human representations restricted a given space-time and linked to the current theoretical currents in the moment of their development. / Diante do contexto informacional vigente é cada vez mais comum que as Tecnologias Digitais de Informação e Comunicação (TDIC) estejam presentes em todos os setores da sociedade e, em especial, na escola. Dessa forma, o presente estudo tem por finalidade analisar as práticas docentes emergentes a partir da inserção de computadores móveis, do Projeto Um Computador por Aluno, em três escolas da região da Grande Florianópolis. Para isso, procuramos entender a partir de um breve estudo histórico e etimológico de conceitos que permeiam a profissão docente, seus saberes e práticas a fim de entender como estas se constituem e se há mudanças nas práticas docentes quando desenvolvidas em ambientes permeados pelas TDIC. Empregamos métodos qualitativos a fim de desenvolver estudos empíricos nas escolas selecionadas, dessa forma, optamos pela observação não-participante e pela entrevista semi-estruturada como instrumentos de recolha de dados. Como resultados obtivemos um total de 50 aulas assistidas e cerca de três horas de entrevistas gravadas, que foram transcritas e pré-analisadas a fim de deslindar as categorias a serem posteriormente analisadas à luz da Análise de Conteúdo, proposta por Lawrence Bardin. O presente estudo aponta que as práticas docentes desenvolvidas em ambientes permeados pelas TDIC, e mais precisamente pelos computadores móveis do Projeto UCA, ainda encontram-se longe de serem consideradas como mediatizadoras, visto que ainda repetem modelos estabelecidos pela profissão ao longo de sua história. Aponta ainda a necessidade do desenvolvimento e do aprofundamento de um currículo que alie as possibilidades das TDIC aos conteúdos escolares, o Web Currículo, como propõem Almeida e Valente (2012). Entendemos ainda que este estudo não esgota as possibilidades de análise das práticas docentes em ambientes educacionais permeados pelas TDIC. Isso se dá por entendermos que tais práticas são representações humanas restritas a determinado espaço-tempo e atreladas a correntes teóricas vigentes no momento de seu desenvolvimento.

Based on the experience of having one computer per student implemented at Funda o Bradesco school in Campinas, the author analyzes which changes had to be made by teachers in their daily practice to add these new mobile technologies (TIMS) and how the concepts of mobility, immersion and connection could relate to this new approach user by teachers. Activities were monitored for two years using three questionnaires that were answered by teachers (Starting point 29 respondents, End point 21 respondents and a third questionnaire 19 respondents), as well as a questionnaire answered by students (Starting point 985 respondents). Part of the questions addressed in this survey was submitted to a descriptive statistics analysis, while the other part was analyzed by a similarity tree technique based on the CHIC software (Cohesive Hierarchical Implicative Classification). This analysis allowed the author to infer that teachers can develop activities that follow a more flexible curriculum approach, using the mobility provided by portable computers to use other spaces in the school, using Internet connection to develop more collaborative activities through Web 2.0 tools, therefore helping their students build their knowledge in a more motivating and empowering way. Despite these results, the analysis detected that there are teachers who still need to improve their knowledge in the use of these new methodologies since, even though they have access to these new tools and all the possibilities they can provide, those teachers use them to convey contents in the same way they do when they are not using portable computers. To be able to take the next step, teachers need to be empowered in the use of new Web 2.0 technologies in their personal lives and they should also be supported by the school to become aware of the educational approaches allowed for by these new devices when such tools are used in the pedagogical planning / A presente pesquisa tem por objetivo investigar os indicadores de um currículo flexível evidenciados no uso de computadores portáteis em sala de aula. A partir do acompanhamento da experiência de um computador por aluno na escola da Fundação Bradesco, em Campinas, procuro analisar quais foram as mudanças que os professores tiveram que fazer na sua prática diária para incorporar estas novas tecnologias m veis e sem fio (TIMS) e como os conceitos de mobilidade, imersão e conexão conseguiram se relacionar com esta nova prática dos professores. Foi feito um acompanhamento durante dois anos das atividades, através de três questionários aplicados aos professores (Marco Zero 29 respondidos-, Marco Final 21 respondidos e Terceiro Questionário 19 respondidos) e um questionário aplicado aos alunos (Marco Zero 985 respondidos). Parte das questões desses questionários foram submetidas à análise através da estatística descritiva e outra parte por meio de árvores de similaridade, sendo utilizado para este último tipo de análise o software CHIC (classificação Hierárquica, Implicativa e Coesitiva). Esta análise permitiu inferir que os professores conseguem desenvolver atividades que seguem uma proposta de currículo mais flexível, aproveitando da mobilidade possível com os computadores portáteis para aproveitar outros espaços da escola, utilizando a conexão com a internet para desenvolver trabalhos mais colaborativos com o uso de ferramentas da Web 2.0 e com isso estão ajudando seus alunos a construírem o seu conhecimento de uma maneira mais motivante e autônoma. Apesar destes resultados, a análise percebeu que há professores que ainda precisam se desenvolver melhor com estas novas metodologias uma vez que, mesmo com estas novas ferramentas, e com todas as possibilidades que elas podem proporcionar, estes professores ainda as utilizam para transmitir conteúdos da mesma maneira que fazem quando não estão utilizando os computadores portáteis. Para conseguirem dar o pr óximo passo, é necessário que os professores se apropriem melhor das novas tecnologias da Web 2.0 no plano pessoal e também que tenham um apoio da escola para poderem ter consciência sobre as abordagens pedag ógicas dos novos equipamentos, utilizando estas ferramentas no seu planejamento pedagógico

The exploratory research, of qualitative nature, was performed with teacher of the Public School Network, within the facilities of the Catholic University of São Paulo (Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo PUC/SP). This environment was provided with wireless internet which enabled to analyze three prototypes of the educational laptop from different manufacturers. Since the workshop, there have been recorded the expectations and the initial impressions of the teachers before, during and after the contact with the educational laptop. The data obtained by the exploratory research was organized with extracts of depositions of the teachers at workshop extracted from the reflexive memorial and the answers of the questionnaires, being those last analyzed according to the methodology of the Collective Subject Speech (Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo DSC) through the software QualiQuantSoft. In research conducted a field observation work in a public school that uses the laptop education in the classroom. The analysis of the data collected in the workshop about the use of the educational laptop in the classroom presented queues of this being a technology different from those of the computing labs in the schools participant because it was mobile, reduced in size and wireless internet ready. After all the process of data analysis and the results exploration, I concluded that in the three research tools applied in the workshop, in the first moment, during the process, and at the end of the workshop, the category mobility and change in pedagogical practices were pointed out by the teachers in all times. Teachers demonstrated a good acceptance of this technology due to its pedagogical potential. At school, the use of educational laptop favored the relationship between teachers and students and students with students, respect and collaboration, that facilitated the involvement of students in the class and reinforces the results of the analysis / O presente estudo pretende realizar um levantamento das primeiras impressões dos professores da Educação Básica sobre o uso do laptop educacional na escola pública, esse viabilizado pelo Projeto Um Computador por Aluno UCA do Governo Federal e Ministério da Educação, bem como identificar o impacto que essa tecnologia causou inicialmente para esses profissionais da educação. A pesquisa exploratória, de natureza qualitativa, foi realizada com professores da Rede Pública de Ensino, nos espaços físicos da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo PUC/SP. Esse cenário era um ambiente que possuía Internet sem fio o qual possibilitou analisar três protótipos do laptop educacional de diferentes fabricantes. Durante a oficina, foram registradas as expectativas e impressões iniciais dos professores antes, durante e após o contato com o laptop educacional. Os dados obtidos pela pesquisa exploratória foram organizados com trechos de depoimentos dos professores na oficina extraídos do memorial reflexivo e respostas dos questionários, sendo esse último analisado seguindo a metodologia do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo (DSC) por meio do software QualiQuantSoft. Na pesquisa de campo realizei um trabalho de observação em uma escola pública que utiliza o laptop educacional na sala de aula. A análise dos dados coletados na oficina sobre o uso do laptop educacional na sala de aula apresentou indícios de ser uma tecnologia diferenciada das existentes nos laboratórios de informática das escolas dos participantes por ser móvel, de tamanho reduzido e conexão à Internet sem fio. Após todo processo de análise de dados e exploração dos resultados, constatei que nos três instrumentos de pesquisa aplicados na oficina, no momento inicial, no desenvolvimento (processo) e no momento final, a categoria mobilidade e mudança da prática pedagógica foram apontadas pelos professores em todos esses momentos. Os professores demonstraram boa aceitação dessa tecnologia móvel pelo seu potencial pedagógico. Na escola, o uso do laptop educacional favoreceu a relação entre professores e alunos e alunos com alunos, pelo respeito e pela colaboração, o que favoreceu o comprometimento dos alunos com as aulas e reforça os resultados das análises

Wireless devices become a key of sharing information among peoples. In this point of view we present the main challenges in pervasive/ubiquitous concepts for wireless applications networks, focusing on the resource of systems and information interoperability. The idea about interdisciplinary culture, as instrument of dissemination and production of the knowledge in the digital environment, is a factor that also is applied to the environment of the mobile devices that remain the necessity of a study related to the interoperability what refers to the communication and the exchange information among peoples. This phenomenon shows up as a trend of the systems solutions in Wireless environments and WEB due to variety use of the electronic devices without wire as: cellular, PDA´s, Smartphone and Pocket PC. The consolidation of the Internet as a collaboration environment as well as the sprout of the mobile applications had directly influenced the business solutions and the systems architecture in the contemporary society. This new cartographic map of the decentralized services in cyberspace is fertile environment for the study about mobile medias environment and its consequence among stakeholders in ciberspace, a scene that represents significant impact in the contribution of the information in the development of the interfaces of the mobile systems. This map of information characterizes for a harmonic acquaintance between the centralization and the decentralization of the information in the mobile network. Therefore, the specific objective of the thesis involves the idea about mobile interoperability devices under the phenomenal about: mobility, cyberspace, portable devices and the technological aspects of the hybrid networks and new media architecture. The emergency of this context represents an important research study of the technology due a great solution offered by telecom corporations and political government. The aim of this research does not only approach the technological aspect centered in design of systems and programs, but also it focuses the benefits of the interoperability about all the flow of the information, deriving of the decentralized flow of information in wireless environment and WEB, these aspects had influenced the companies and the society in the digital culture. These solutions prevail are inside the same solution for the collaboration and people integration in cyberspace / O conceito da cultura interdisciplinar, como instrumento de disseminação e produção do conhecimento no ambiente digital é um fator que também se aplica ao ambiente dos dispositivos móveis. O que traduz a necessidade de um estudo relacionado à interoperabilidade das informações no que tange a comunicação e a troca das informações por meio destes últimos. O tecnologia sem fio afirma-se como tendência das soluções sistêmicas devido à popularização do uso dos dispositivos eletrônicos (celular, PDA´s, Smartphone e Pocket PC) e principalmente pelo papel da sociedade como parte integrante no dinamismo do processo de colaboração das informações. A consolidação da Internet e do surgimento da tecnologia móvel, sob a perspectiva da colaboração das informações, influenciou diretamente as soluções de negócio e os sistemas computacionais na sociedade contemporânea. Esse novo mapa cartográfico dos serviços descentralizados no ciberespaço é um palco fértil para o estudo da influência das mídias móveis e seu reflexo nas relações humanas. O que representou um impacto significativo no ambiente de desenvolvimento de sistemas inserido num ambiente heterogêneo que se caracteriza também por uma convivência harmônica entre a centralização e a descentralização das informações. Mobile devices have influenced the creation of unusual narratives that investigate, among other things, the relationship between space and individual. This essay intends to discuss the changes that this relationship has suffered due to the spread of pervasive computing, and how these changes enabled the emergence of new trends in aesthetic technology. Mobile devices of communication re-invent urban environments, such as multiplayer connected environments independent of the geographical position and physical presence, encouraging the emergence of hybrid spaces, which is defined by the disappearance of borders between physical and virtual and created by a constant mobility of users who use handsets. As theoretical support, the thinking is based on studies of André Lemos, Lúcia Santaella, Milton Santos, Pierre Lévy, and artists such as Jeremy Hight, the English Blast Theory. The essay intends to introduce a scenario of aesthetic technology based on mobile devices and the public spaces, and through an specific case show how is the relationship between narrative and technologies in hybrid spaces / Assim como os movimentos artísticos, o ato de narrar, de contar histórias, também se transformou consideravelmente com os avanços técnicos. Os dispositivos móveis têm influenciado criações narrativas inusitadas e que investigam, entre outras coisas, a relação entre espaço e indivíduo. A presente dissertação discute as transformações que essa relação tem sofrido devido à disseminação da computação pervasiva, e de que forma essas transformações propiciaram o surgimento de novas tendências da estética tecnológica. Os dispositivos móveis de comunicação re-inventam espaços urbanos como ambientes de multiusuários conectados independentemente da posição geográfica e presença física, favorecendo o surgimento de espaços híbridos, ou seja, definidos pelo desaparecimento das bordas entre físico e virtual e criados pela constante mobilidade dos usuários que utilizam aparelhos portáteis. Como referencial teórico, a reflexão se fundamenta nos estudos de André Lemos, Lúcia Santaella, Milton Santos, Pierre Lévy, e artistas como Jeremy Hight e o grupo inglês Blast Theory por ser uma pesquisa de caráter multidisciplinar.
