Huanachin Yancce, Edith Fiorela, Chaffo Vega, Renzo Mauricio Renato 28 October 2019 (has links)
Organizations that provide computer services for the development of academic research projects are not using Enterprise Content Management (ECM), despite the complexity of document management associated with this activity. ECM allows to store, deliver and manage content more agile and thus be able to provide better service. In this paper, a document management model is proposed where the phases that allow implementing this technology are presented and thereby gain new capabilities in the organization. To validate the model, a tool was implemented in 2 virtual companies analyzing the response times to service requests that occurred before and after implementation. In addition, a survey was made using the Likert scale to measure stakeholder satisfaction. / Tesis

Playable Case Study Content Management System

Cross, Mitchell Stevenson 18 April 2022 (has links)
Educational simulations can help mitigate the natural gap between traditional education styles and the current professional world. Researchers at BYU have developed an educational simulation solution called Playable Case Studies (PCSs). PCSs are simulations that expose the user to real world scenarios and problems within a pre-built environment. With rising demand and use of these educational simulations, there is a need for easy and inexpensive ways to develop these simulations or Playable Case Studies (PCSs). We propose a content management system (CMS) that is tied to a system that utilizes dynamic modules that make up these simulations. We present a basic design and identify core functionality of the system. We include our results from utilizing this system and what future developments can enable the goal of easy and inexpensive development of PCSs. In this study, we identify the design features needed for an easy to use, efficient content management system for educational playable case studies. We began by identifying both pain points in our old system and the features that would address these issues. We then designed and built a new system that included these features. In the testing of this new system, we primarily looked at the ease of building a new PCS with minimal technical knowledge. Although this project was a success overall, there are still points of failure due to the direct manipulation of JSON by content creators (who were not all developers), among other minor issues that need correcting. Overall, we found that our design was effective in providing an efficient platform for creating and maintaining PCSs.

Dokumenthantering i Microsoft SharePoint 2010 : / Document Management in Microsoft SharePoint 2010

Lahtinen, Joakim January 2012 (has links)
SharePoint is a large content and management system that is used by a vast number of businesses. Templates can be specified for different types of documents (called content types), which simplifies the creating of new documents for the end user. However, the system by which this is done today quickly becomes cumbersome and unmanageable when the number of templates that a business uses increases. In this thesis a solution to the problem is examined which is available on the Microsoft Codeplex site, a site for hosting open source projects. During the project the solution was examined in greater detail, and further developed into a prototype that HOW Solutions could use in future projects. The final result was a prototype that builds on the earlier solution which allows the user to specify a template hub, which is a site collection with libraries that supplies other libraries with templates. During the project another solution, which builds on the same solution, was found. It shows great promise and requires further investigation.

Content Management Systems and MD5: Investigating Alternative Methods of Version Identification for Open Source Projects

Trusz, Jakob January 2017 (has links)
WordPress is a very widely used content management system that enables users to easier create websites. The popularity of WordPress has made it a prime target for attacks by hackers since a potential vulnerability would affect many targets. Vulnerabilities that can be utilised in an attack are referred to as exploits. Most exploits are only viable for a subset of all the version of the software that they target. The knowledge of which version of a content managements system a website is running is often not explicit or easy to determine. Attackers can potentially exploit a vulnerable website faster if the version is known, since this allows them to search for existing vulnerabilities and exploits, instead of trying to identify a new vulnerability. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate existing and alternate methods for detecting the version of WordPress on websites that are powered by it. The scope is limited to an analysis of existing tools and the suggested methods for version identification are limited to identification using unique values that are calculated from the contents of files. The suggested methods for version identification and the generation of the required data is implemented using Python 3, the programming language. We investigate the feasibility of version obfuscation, how discernible a version of WordPress is, and how to compare versions of WordPress. The thesis has proven the feasibility of version identification with a new perspective that delivers more accurate results than previous methods. Version obfuscation has also been proven to be very feasible without affecting the usability of the WordPress website. Furthermore, a method for discerning between two specific versions of WordPress is presented. All the results are in theory applicable to other software projects that are hosted and developed in the same way. This new area of research has much for security professionals and has room for future improvement.
