Návrh měřících struktur pro obvody s diferenčními signály / Design of measuring solutions for circuits with differential signals

Jemelík, Lukáš January 2011 (has links)
This master´s thesis deals about a measuring structures of elements working at a current mode. There were outlined structures for measuring input and output impedance. These structures were simulated for DACA element. It deals with a voltage to current and current to voltage converters. All structures and converters were simulated at computer program PSpice. Selected variant were practically verified and control measuring was realized.

Understanding the Healthcare Experiences of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Recipients

Kluesener, Jacob A 01 January 2019 (has links)
Background: There is limited research on the healthcare experience of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients both before and after enrollment in the program. DACA is a program designed to defer deportation to children and young adults in the United States for up to 2 years. The goal of this qualitative study is to explore the lived experiences of DACA students with regards to access to healthcare and perceptions of treatment. Method: This study is qualitative and uses a phenomenological approach. DACA Recipients (N = 5) were recruited from the UCF student population and 1:1 interviews were conducted. Interviews were transcribed and manually coded. Results: Thematic analysis revealed the following three themes (1) Meeting Needs (2) It Takes a Village and (3) Documentation Over Insurance Conclusion: The fundamental structure of the findings shows the struggles of receiving healthcare as an undocumented immigrant, and the limitations of DACA as a solution. Health insurance is a more prominent and impactful factor than documentation status in the quality and quantity of healthcare access. The healthcare experience ranges from volunteer clinics to local pharmacies. Although, if DACA recipients have insurance, their healthcare experience is more consistent, regardless of documentation. Their day to day lives is composed of meeting basic needs, receiving only necessary doctor's visits as a child, and being prepared for all circumstances in terms of future citizenship.

American Dreams: DACA Dreamers, Trump as a Political and Social Event, and the Performative Practice of Storytelling in the Age of Secondary Orality

Herlinger, Emma 01 January 2017 (has links)
In September 2017, the Trump administration announced its plan to rescind The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program (DACA). Since then, program recipients, who have in recent years assumed the name "Dreamers," have fought back. This thesis explores how Dreamers use storytelling as a means of articulating individual and collective identity as a form of resistance in the sociopolitical climate that is Trump's America.

Diferenční kmitočtové filtry s moderními aktivními prvky / Differential frequency filters with modern active elements

Kubík, Milan January 2011 (has links)
The master thesis focuses on design of fully-differential frequency filters with modern active components in current mode. First part informs about problems concerning analogue frequency filters and creating differential structures. Second part deals with methods of create filters and used active components - DACA (Digital Adjustable Current Amplifier) and MO-CF (Multiple Output Current Follower). Own design of differential filters is divided on two parts. In the first part of design results there are filters created with synthetic higher-order elements. There are presented circuit structures implementing the third order low pass filter and high pass filter. In the second part are designed filters with signal flow graphs. The first circuit implementing low pass, high pass, band pass, band rejection and all-pass filter. The second circuit is with help of the same set of current amplification by DACA components tuning of the natural frequency. For this circuit was make sensitivity analysis. In the final part is practical implementation of the differential frequency filter for tuning of the natural frequency and summarises the thesis.

Kmitočtové filtry s diferenčním proudovým zesilovačem / Frequency filters with difference current amplifier

Jirounek, Matěj January 2011 (has links)
This master´s thesis deals with the differential filters working in the current mode. It is dealt with the design methodologies of these filters and conversion circuits from voltage to current mode. Own work deals with 4 types of differential participation of structures. In this work there has been used programs SNAP and OrCAD. These programs were used for simulations of filters to proposed proper design. Results from this thesis is showed by graphs.

Elektronicky řiditelné aktivní prvky k realizaci oscilátorů a funkčních generátorů / Electronically adjustable active elements for the realization of oscillators and function generators

Bokůvka, Tomáš January 2014 (has links)
This thesis is focused on the design, analysis and realization of new oscillator and generator circuits using electronically adjustable active elements. In the opening discussion the aspects of distribution, proposal, properties and oscillation conditions of generators and oscillators are theoretically described. Next, there are presented some electronically adjustable active elements which appear to be suitable for construction of the oscillators and generators. This covers in particular the Operational Transconductance Amplifier OTA, Voltage Control Amplifier VCA and Digitally Adjustable Current Amplifier DACA. Using these elements the six oscillators and two functional generators are presented. Simulation results and design methods are included. Next part is focused on practical realization and measurement. At the end of the thesis the measurement and simulation results are discussed and compared.

De Lara, Raul H. 01 January 2019 (has links)
This is a document explaining in detail my artistic practice from childhood to the day I graduated VCU. It will perhaps only be understood by those who have themselves already felt such ways, or similar ways – words and ghosts are mostly invisible.

Zákon DREAM Act: Finální řešení? / American DREAM Act: Final Solution?

Toloch, Jan January 2015 (has links)
This thesis describes DREAM Act, a legislative proposal discussed in the US Congress between 2001 and 2011. The Act proposes a pathway to legal citizenship for children of undocumented immigrants. The thesis aims to find whether the children of illegal immigrants should be held accountable and face deportations, even though they were not responsible for entering the U.S. illegally? It also discusses whether implementation of the DREAM Act is a convenient solution of governmental reform of the broken immigration system. The first chapter describes the DREAM Act in greater detail and compares it to the presidential executive order DAPA, a similar program to DREAM Act providing deferred action on deportation for these children. The second chapter focuses on impact of immigrants, their legal consciousness and tells stories of undocumented children who crossed the U.S. border and describes their lives in the U.S. The third chapter's focus is on impact on the U.S. society, mainly discusses the economic potential of the DREAM Act implementation. Last chapter provides an analysis of DREAM Act in the State of New York and activities of undocumented students fighting for its enactment. The thesis concludes that the children should not be punished for decisions of their parents as they bring many benefits for...
