The two orchestral pieces, written in the period of 2009-2010, are tone poems that demonstrate the development and combination of tonal melodies along with a coherent and effective use of orchestration to express different emotions inspired by two imaginary places. This thesis analyzes different aspects of the pieces based on their melodic construction and the use of the orchestra as the main instrument. O objetivo desta tese é estudar as escolhas temáticas, lexicais e estilísticas presentes na obra poética de Raul Bopp, produzidas contemporaneamente às manifestações da Antropofagia e detectar, a partir da constituição do ethos antropofágico, a expressão do conceito de brasilidade nas obras mais representativas: Cobra Norato e Urucungo. A recolha e a análise das escolhas foram feitas sob a ótica da Estilística e dos Estudos discursivos, fruto de uma visão interacionista e dialógica que trabalha o signo como uma instância de disputa pelo poder. O poeta, ao recuperar culturas silenciadas, dar voz a elas, e propor antropofagicamente a devoração constante, reconhece e valoriza a alteridade numa época em que a desigualdade entre etnias e raças tinha sido naturalizada. A metáfora da pele de seda elástica, presente em Cobra Norato, não é só representativa dessa obra, ela pode ser esticada à vida e à obra poética de Bopp: um antropófago que correu o mundo em busca de colher antropologicamente informações sobre as culturas para depois registrá-las poeticamente em suas obras. / The main purpose of this thesis is to study the thematic, lexical and stylistic choices in the poetic work of Raul Bopp, produced contemporaneously to Anthropophagy movement, and detect, from the constitution of the anthropophagic ethos, the expression of the concept of brazilianness in two of the most significant Bopp\'s poetic works: Cobra Norato and Urucungo. The collection and analysis of lexical choices were made from the Stylistics\'s and Discursive Studies perspective, the result of a dialogic and interactionist vision that works the sign as an instance of power struggle. Trata-se de um estudo comparativista entre as obras O Ateneu (1888) de Raul Pompéia e Die Verwirrungen des Zöglings Törless (As Tribulações do Pupilo Törless) (1906) de Robert Musil. Sugere-se que esses romances filiam-se ao chamado Romance do Artista (Künstlerroman). Abordam-se também as concepções estéticas desenvolvidas pelos protagonistas dessas duas obras, além de ser uma tentativa de mostrar como ambos os romances se fundamentam numa visão estética da vida. / This is a comparative study about Raul Pompeia´s novel O Ateneu (1888) and Robert Musil´s Die Verwirrungen des Zöglings Törless (The Young Törless) (1906). I suggest these novels could be classified as Künstlerroman (Artist\'s Novel). I work with the aesthetical conceptions developed by each of one of the main characters in these two novels and try to show that both works are based on an idea of life as an aesthetical way of living.

O presente trabalho analisa algumas obras de Prebisch, escritas entre o final da década de 40 e início da década de 60, do ponto de vista do comércio internacional e do desenvolvimento econômico da América Latina. Procura-se identificar em suas obras um componente crítico sobre essas questões, tendo em vista a conjuntura internacional no início do século XX, que deixa evidente a situação periférica latino-americana na divisão internacional do trabalho. Essa se expressa e ao mesmo tempo tem suas raízes em uma estrutura interna desigual e subdesenvolvida. Além disso, essa posição crítica do autor é vista como resultado de uma busca pela explicação para os problemas latino-americanos, cujas respostas não podiam ser encontradas no arcabouço teórico da corrente de pesquisa tradicional sobre comércio internacional. Ao tratar os países como tendo estruturas homogêneas, a teoria neoclássica faz simplificações que, na visão de Prebisch, deixa de lado uma questão essencial: as assimetrias no plano internacional. Para o autor a incorporação dessa questão na análise é importante devido ao impacto exercido sobre o desenvolvimento latino-americano, e pela forma como condiciona as perspectivas futuras da América Latina. E, mostra-se como essa forma de pensar e estruturar suas idéias levou a defesa de políticas a serem adotadas pela América Latina, que diferem das defendidas pela teoria neoclássica. Mas, analisam-se as obras de Prebisch, levando em consideração o próprio desenvolvimento intelectual do autor, através do qual há uma ampliação de sua análise e a formação de idéias integradas sobre a situação periférica. Neste trabalho é mostrado como o pensamento de Prebisch implica na incorporação de variáveis sociais e políticas para construir uma abordagem econômica que priorize a conciliação teórica com as circunstâncias históricas e com a realidade latino-americana. Conclui-se, através da análise dessas questões, que a observação sobre a especificidade latino-americana, e a ausência desta inclusão na teoria tradicional, levou Prebisch a formar uma nova abordagem para as questões sobre comércio internacional e desenvolvimento econômico, no qual o objetivo deveria ser sempre a busca por uma maior homogeneidade internacional. / The following work analyses some of Prebisch?s work, written between the end of the 40s and beginning of the 60s, from the point of view of international trade and development economics in Latin America. Its intention is to identify a critical component in regard to these issues, in light of the international conjuncture in the beginning of the XX century, which reveals the peripherical situation of Latin America in the international division of labor. This is expressed and at the same time has its roots in an unequal and underdeveloped internal structure. In addition to that, this critical position of the author is seen as a result of his search for an explanation for Latin America problems, for which the answers couldn?t be found in the theoretical framework of the traditional research school of international trade. By treating countries as having homogeneous structures, the neoclassical theory, has done simplifications that, in Prebisch?s view, do not take in consideration an essential question: the asymmetries in the international sphere. For the author the incorporation of this matter is important due to its impact over Latin Americas development, and also because of the way it affects Latin Americas future perspectives. And, this work shows how this way of thinking and of structuring his ideas led him to defend policies to be adopted by Latin America, that differ from the ones defended by the neoclassical theory. But, it analyses Prebisch?s works, taking in consideration his own intellectual development, through which his analysis gets wider and he builds integrated ideas in relation to the peripherical situation. In this work it?s showed how Prebisch?s ideas implies that social and political variables should be incorporated in order to build an economic approach that gives a priority to the conciliation of theory with the historical circumstances and with Latin America reality. The work concludes through the analyses of these questions, that the observation of Latin America specificities, and the lack of inclusion of it in the neoclassical theory, led Prebisch to establish a new approach to the questions about international trade and economic development, in which the main goal should be the search for a bigger international homogeneity.

Esta tese trata da Contracultura: conjunto de movimentos de rebelião juvenil das décadas de 1960 e 1970, mas cujas raízes são anteriores, tendo como eixo temático a obra de Raul Seixas, no que se refere ao projeto de construção de uma Sociedade Alternativa. A Sociedade Alternativa é considerada por mim como o enorme leque de lutas libertárias de toda uma geração jovem que ousou discordar das \"verdades prontas e acabadas\" que nos são oferecidas pelo mundo capitalista. / This thesis deals with counterculture: the whole of movements of juvenile rebellion of the decades of 1960 and 1970, having as thematic axle the musical composition of Raul Seixas, as for the project of the construction of an Alternative Society. The Alternative Society is considered by me as the enormous fan of libertarian fights of all a young generation that dared to disagree with the \"ready and finished truths\" that in is offered by the capitalist world.

[pt] Este trabalho visa estudar o relançamento do intelectual e político argentino Raúl Prebisch (1901-1986) a cargo da Comissão Econômica para América Latina (CEPAL). Por termos constatado que se trata de um resgate parcial da obra do autor, interessa-nos problematizar a forma, o contexto, assim como, as implicações de este empreendimento. Contextualizamos a obra do autor no debate sobre desenvolvimento, subdesenvolvimento e dependência na América latina entre as décadas de 1950 a 1970. Estudamos suas principais contribuições teóricas ao longo de sua vida, contrastando com dados biográficos do autor. Analisamos a iniciativa da Comissão de retomar a Prebisch como um autor cujas formulações estão vigentes e de recolocar o debate sobre desenvolvimento no contexto atual a partir de uma nova economia política: Neoestruturalismo. Ainda que se trate de um autor de referência no debate sobre desenvolvimento em latino-americana, procuramos entender os motivos que levaram à escolha de dito autor assim como o marco em que esta iniciativa é produzida. / [en] This paper aims to study the relaunch of the Argentine intellectual and politician Raúl Prebisch (1901-1986) by the Economic Commission for Latin America (ECLAC). As we have seen that this is a partial rescue of the author s work, we are interested in problematizing the form, the context, as well as the implications of this enterprise. We contextualize the author s work in the debate on development, underdevelopment and dependence in Latin America between the 1950s and 1970s. We study his main theoretical contributions throughout his life, contrasting with biographical data of the author. We analyze the Commission s initiative to retake Prebisch as an author whose formulations are in force and to reinsert the development debate in the current context from a new political economy: Neo-structuralism. Although he is a reference author in the debate on development in Latin America, we try to understand the reasons that led to the choice of this author as well as the milestone in which this initiative is produced.

Uma figura disposta com atributos de Raul Seixas â cabelo, barba, porte fÃsico - adornado com chapÃu, cartucheiras e sandÃlias de couro, inspirado no cangaceiro LampiÃo. O personagem realiza serviÃo publicitÃrio de propaganda volante no centro comercial do Crato, cidade localizada no interior do Estado do CearÃ. à na exposiÃÃo pÃblica que Raul LampiÃo apresenta suas prÃticas comunicativas, articulando negociaÃÃes nas quais sobressaem ora elementos e caracterÃsticas de natureza econÃmica, ora elementos e caracterÃsticas de natureza social (Bakhtin, 1987; Bitti Zani, 1997; Thompson, 1998). Diante desse contexto, utiliza-se a anÃlise crÃtica da narrativa (Motta, 2013) como metodologia para compreender o personagem, seus discursos e suas expressÃes artÃsticas (MartÃn-Barbero, 2003; Carreira, 2005). Ao final desse trabalho, conclui-se que devido à complexidade das aÃÃes performÃticas (Hymes, 1975; Glusberg, 1987; Zumthor, 1993, 1997, 2003) empreendidas por Raul LampiÃo a relaÃÃo crÃtica estabelecida com a realidade à orientada pela sua atividade comercial, e vice-versa, como um fluxo de mÃo-dupla que se sustenta e se nutre diante das variadas e dissonantes circunstÃncias da vida cotidiana. / The purpose of this study is to investigate the implementation of communicative practices undertaken by Raul LampiÃo Crato. A figure willing to attribute Raul Seixas - hair, beard, physique - adorned with hat, cartridge belts and leather sandals, inspired by the bandit LampiÃo. The character performs advertising service advertising wheel in the commercial center of Crato, a town in the interior of CearÃ. It is on public display that Raul LampiÃo presents its communicative practices, coordinating negotiations in which stand elements and features of an economic nature sometimes, elements and features of a social nature in another hand (Bakhtin, 1987; Bitti Zani, 1997; Thompson, 1998). In this context, we use the critical analysis of the narrative (Motta, 2013) as a methodology to understand the character, his speeches and his artistic expressions (Martin-Barbero, 2003; Carreira, 2005). At the end of this work, it is concluded that due to the complexity of performing actions (Hymes, 1975; Glusberg, 1987; Zumthor, 1993, 1997, 2003) undertaken by Raul LampiÃo the critical relationship established with reality is guided by its commercial activity, and vice versa, as a two-way flow that sustains and feeds on the varied and dissonant circumstances of everyday life.
