The Accelerated Mortar Bar test (AMBT) is rapid, reproducible, and perhaps the most widely used technique for examining the potential alkali-silica reactivity of aggregates. Unfortunately, this test is often unreliable as it may identify non-reactive aggregate as reactive and vice versa. With the aim of improving the accuracy of AMBT, two modifications to the current procedure were evaluated: 1) the maturity of mortar bars prior to alkali hydroxide exposure and 2) reduction of the storage temperature. The original and modified versions were performed on six aggregates with alkali-silica reactive (ASR) components, and their expansions and ASR classifications were compared. Results show that increasing the maturity had no significant impact on expansions. However, modifying the storage temperature to 60˚C and extending the period of testing to 28 days can be very effective in terms of more reliably identifying the existing falsely identified aggregates.

Titre de l'écran-titre (visionné le 15 mars 2024) / Compilées par une moniale du monastère d'Unterlinden autour de 1320, les *Vitae Sororum* offrent un accès privilégié à la pensée de religieuses cloitrées de la fin du Moyen Âge. Composées de courts récits relatant l'existence de moniales exceptionnelles du monastère d'Unterlinden, les *Vitae Sororum* présentent le portrait idéalisé d'une vie chrétienne réussie, soit l'atteinte de la perfection humaine ici-bas et l'agrégation éternelle à Dieu dans l'au-delà. Ce mémoire cherche à mettre en évidence les différents éléments qui composent ce modèle de sainteté, ainsi que l'articulation de ces éléments dans le cadre d'un mouvement de progression, de cheminement vers Dieu. Centré sur le motif de la conversion intérieure, cet idéal de perfection s'articule autour de vertus morales cultivées dans l'objectif de préparer les moniales à accueillir la grâce divine dans leur âme. Les nombreux épisodes de visions, d'extases et d'unions avec le divin s'intègrent à ce modèle de sainteté en tant que signes manifestes de la faveur divine. Ces grâces récompensent les efforts de conversion intérieure des moniales et les fait progresser dans la vertu. La progression vers la perfection ici-bas et le salut éternel est donc réalisée par une action conjointe des moniales et de la grâce divine, la première étant toutefois toujours subordonnée à la seconde. Bien qu'elles établissent clairement le caractère premier et essentiel de la grâce divine dans tout le processus de conversion, les *Vitae Sororum* parviennent à donner une place majeure aux moniales dans leur cheminement vers le salut en articulant conjointement les notions complexes de mérite humain, de récompense, et de gratuité de la grâce. / Compiled by a nun from the Unterlinden monastery around 1320, the *Vitae Sororum* offer privileged access to the thoughts of cloistered nuns in the late Middle Ages. Composed of short narratives recounting the lives of exceptional nuns from the Unterlinden monastery, the *Vitae Sororum* present an idealized portrait of a successful Christian life: the attainment of human perfection here below and eternal aggregation with God in the hereafter. This dissertation seeks to highlight the various elements that make up this model of holiness, as well as the articulation of these elements within the framework of a movement of progression towards God. Centered on the motif of inner conversion, this ideal of perfection is built around moral virtues cultivated with the aim of preparing the nuns to welcome divine grace into their souls. The many episodes of visions, ecstasies, and unions with the divine are part of this model of sanctity as manifest signs of divine favor. These graces reward the nuns' efforts at inner conversion and help them to progress in virtue. Progress towards perfection here below and eternal salvation is thus achieved through the joint action of the nuns and divine grace, the former always subordinate to the latter. Although they clearly establish the primary and essential character of divine grace in the whole process of conversion, the *Vitae Sororum* manage to give a major place to the role of the nuns in their journey to salvation by jointly articulating the complex notions of human merit, reward, and gratuity of grace.

Sowohl in der Literatur als auch in der schulischen und universitären Praxis gibt es zahlreiche Hinweise, dass Schülerinnen und Schüler mit Beeinträchtigungen, wie bei-spielsweise umschriebenen Entwicklungsstörungen schulischer Fertigkeiten, in Bezug auf ihre psychosoziale Entwicklung zum Teil erheblich benachteiligt sind. Gerade bei Kindern und Jugendlichen mit Lese-Rechtschreibstörungen besteht der Verdacht, dass diese vor allem im Bereich schulbezogener Lebensqualität von einem deutlich höheren Maß an Belastung betroffen sind. Die Studie „LaSSe – Lebensqualität, akademisches Selbstkonzept und Stresserleben von Viert- und Achtklässlern in Berlin“ wurde konzipiert, um die psychosoziale Lage von Schülerinnen und Schülern in Bezug auf die globale und bereichsspezifische Lebens-qualität, auf die allgemeine Stressvulnerabilität und auf mögliche Belastungsfolgen auf der Ebene physischer und psychischer Symptome, auf das akademische Selbstkonzept sowie schulbezogene Einstellungen zu erfassen und zur Rechtschreibleistung in Bezug zu setzen. Die Erfassung der entsprechenden Parameter und Daten wurde mit standar-disierten Fragebögen und Messinstrumenten realisiert, die von insgesamt über 1400 Schülerinnen und Schülern vierter und achter Klassen bearbeitet wurden. Wenn sich ein Nachteil derjenigen Befragten mit niedrigen Rechtschreibleistungen im Hinblick auf eine geringere Lebensqualität bestätigen ließe, könnte das als Hinweis auf den erhöhten Bedarf an pädagogischer und psychosozialer Unterstützung bei spezifi-schen Lernstörungen gelten, der im Zuge der sonderpädagogisch-psychologischen Di-agnostik und professioneller Förderung unbedingt zu berücksichtigen wäre. Die theoretischen Konzepte zum Bezugsrahmen Lebensqualität sowie die Ergebnisse der Studie werden in den Stand der überwiegend psychologisch geprägten Forschung eingeordnet und zum Anlass genommen, Überlegungen zum Stellenwert der Lebens-qualität in der Sonderpädagogik anzustellen. / In the literature as well as in school and university practice, there are numerous indica-tions that students with disabilities, such as specific developmental disorders of scholas-tic skills, are in some cases considerably disadvantaged in terms of their psychosocial development. Children and adolescents with reading and spelling disorders in particular are thought to be affected by a significantly higher level of stress, especially in the area of school-related quality of life. The study "LaSSe - Lebensqualität, akademisches Selbstkonzept und Stresserleben von Viert- und Achtklässlern in Berlin" (LaSSe - Quality of Life, Academic Self-Concept and Stress Experience of Fourth and Eighth Graders in Berlin) was designed to assess the psychosocial situation of students with regard to global and sector-specific quality of life, general stress vulnerability and possible stress consequences at the level of physical and psychological symptoms, academic self-concept and school-related attitudes, in relation to spelling performance. The collection of the corresponding parameters and data was realized using standardized questionnaires and measuring instruments, which were processed by a total of more than 1400 students of fourth and eighth grades. In case the assumed disadvantage of those respondents with low spelling skills with regard to a lower quality of life could be confirmed, this could be seen as an indication of the increased need for pedagogical and psychosocial support for students with specif-ic learning disorders, which must be taken into account in special educational and psy-chological diagnostics and professional support. The theoretical concepts on quality of life and corresponding parameters as well as the results of the study will be integrated into the current state of predominantly psycho-logical research and will provide an occasion to reflect on the significance of quality of life in special education.

In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird aufgrund der kommentierten Quellen die Tatsache erhellt, dass der Kantsche Anspruch auf Legitimität des Erkenntnisverfahrens, wie er in seiner Transzendentalphilosophie zum Ausdruck gebracht wurde, von drei Momenten des Gedankenprozesses in der Philosophie der Deutschen Aufklärung vorangekündigt wird: a) der Verschiebung der Problematik der deutschen Philosophie vom „Harmonie“-Gedanken der so genannten Leibniz-Wolff-Schule und ihrer Gegner hin zur Fragestellung nach der „Realisierung der Begriffe“ bei Tetens, in der sich der Mensch als sinnstiftendes Wesen dartut, b) dem bereits bei Thomasius in Sprachparallelen zu Kant auftretenden „empiriorationalistischen“ Moment, das die gesamte Periode des Kampfes um die Wolffsche Lehre begleitet und bei Lambert eine neue Form (a priori durch Erfahrung) bekommt, c) dem Verständnis der Denkbarkeit bzw. Begreifbarkeit als Mitteilbarkeit, das schon in der Frühaufklärung (von Thomasius implizit, von Tschirnhaus explizit) anzutreffen ist und von den Zeitgenossen Kants rehabilitiert und von Tetens als Frage nach der Intersubjektivität (das „Objectivische“ als das „unveränderlich Subjectivische“) betont wird. Mit den Werken von Lambert und Tetens, in denen Gott fast keine Rolle mehr spielt, emanzipiert sich das philosophische Denken endgültig von der religiösen Furcht und dem „metaphysischen Schauder“, die während der Barockzeit durch den Triumph der wissenschaftlichen Revolution hervorgebracht worden waren. In der Philosophie der beiden Zeitgenossen Kants versteht sich der Mensch nicht mehr als „intellectus ectypus“, sondern zum ersten Mal als potentieller Gesetzgeber der Natur. Folglich macht diese Tatsache klar, dass Kant auf bereits gestellte Fragen zu antworten hatte. / The current dissertation, which is based on documented sources, elucidates the fact that the Kantian claim of the legitimacy of the cognitive process, as this claim is expressed in the Kantian “Transcendental Philosophy”, had its precursor in three major elements of the philosophical evolution in the German Enlightenment: a)The shifting of the philosophical problematic in the German Enlightenmentfrom the “harmony”-thinking of the Wolffians and their detractors, to Tetens’ posit of the “realization” of concepts, according to which a human being is proven as a meaning-establishing entity; b) The “empiriorationalistic” element in Thomasius, which finds parallels in Kantian formulations, remains active during the whole controversy surrounding the Wolffian teaching, and then acquires a new form in Lambert (a priori through experience); c) The understanding of “conceivability” as “communicability”, which is already present in the early German Enlightenment, implicitly in Thomasius and explicitly in Tschirnhaus, does not come under discussion in the era of Wolff. However, this element comes under the spotlight by Kant’s contemporaries, especially highlighted in Tetens’ question of intersubjectivity (the objective as the “unchangeably subjective”). The representatives of German Enlightenment Philosophy after 1760 freed from the metaphysical shudder caused by the “scientific revolution”, are the very first to comprehend the human intellect, not as “intellectus ectypus”, but as the legislator of nature. In this way, German philosophical thought is to abandon once and for all the baroque world-view. The systems of Lambert and Tetens show clearly that Kant elaborated on questions that they had already posed in an elementary form.
