Uppsatsen undersöker subjektets förutsättningar och möjligheter utifrån lacansk teori, samt vilka implikationer det får på symptomets plats inom klinisk diagnostik. Metoden använder lacanskt teori som beskrivningar av subjektets status, vars framställning abstraheras till en rad regler.
