Problematika muskuloskeletálních poruch a jejich řetězení / Problematics of musculosceletal dysfunction and chains

Hofman, David January 2021 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system. It discusses the possible causing factors of these disorders, their manifestations on the body, diagnostics and the possibilities of influencing them. Since this is a very common phenomenon on the human body, I chose mainly the muscle, fascia and joint structure, which I explored and described in more depth. The experimental part of this work aims to demonstrate the possible impact of the intervention of the 1.-3. ribs and claviculosternal joint as described by Ludmila Mojžíšová on the muscles of the neck (m. scalenus anterior, medius and sternocleidomastoideus). To obtain results, I used the ultrasound examination of the diameter of these muscles and Visual analogue scale (VAS) to obtain pain values before and after the intervention using this method. Title: Problematics of musculoskeletal dysfunction and chains Objectives: The first goal of this paper is to collect currently recognized sources about musculoscletal functional disorders. I have described origins of this kind of problems, manifestation of these disorders and kinds of therapy. I've focused on functional disorders of muscle, fascia and joint. Second goal of this thesis is to evaluate a top-rated Prague rehabilitation school's method. Part of Prague...

Dynamický přístup k pedagogicko-psychologické diagnostice a intervenci v mateřské škole / Dynamic approach to Educational and Psychological assessment and Intervation in Kindergarten.

Krejčová, Kristýna January 2013 (has links)
Dynamic assessment constitutes an alternative diagnostic approach, focused on revelation of the tested person's learning potential, which is reached and observed via the emphasis on the process of the achievement. It aims at meaningful connection with the intervention that immediately makes use of diagnostic findings to support the development of an individual's abilities. This work summarizes essential information about the mentioned diagnostic trend - its characteristic, a definition compared to conventional ways of testing and historical development. It investigates some possibilities of its utilization, especially in the area of preschool diagnostic and education, and creates a basis for an instrument of the effective prevention of educational and behavioural difficulties during the first years of the school attendance.

Identifikace, objektivizace a determinace kritérií výkonnostního hlediska u elitních hráčů fotbalu / Identification, objectification and determination of performance and health-prevention criteria in elite soccer players

Kunzmann, Egon January 2021 (has links)
Identification, objectification, and determination of performance criteria for elite soccer players. Aim: Identification of key point indicators (KPI) of young soccer players with a focus on objectifying and determining the possibility of achieving the highest level of performance. Methods: The study included 157 soccer players, who were then divided into five age groups (U21, U19, U18, U17 and U16) and three performance groups (Elite - 1st league players, Sub-elite - 2nd league players, Amateur - 3rd league and lower performance levels players). Within laboratory diagnostics, the following areas were evaluated: body composition (bioimpedance method), postural stability (using pressure plates), explosive power of the lower limbs (three types of vertical jumps), strength and power of knee extensors and flexors (using isokinetic dynamometry) and the value of the maximum aerobic capacity VO2max (using the pulmonary ventilation exercise test). Within the field diagnostics, the areas of acceleration time (sprint at 5 and 10 m), maximum speed (sprint at 20 m flight), time in the test of change of direction (Agility 505 test and K-test) and values of endurance ability (Yo- Yo intermittent recovery test level 1 and 2). The diagnosed data were then processed in the statistical program RStudio® (USA) using...

Neuropsychologická diagnostika prostorového neglectu po mozkovém poškození / Neuropsychological diagnosis of spatial neglect after brain injury

Kersch, Jakub January 2021 (has links)
The thesis focuses on the issue of spatial neglect and its neuropsychological diagnostics. The theoretical part of the thesis first summarizes recent knowledge about the neglect and offers its classification, which maps the heterogeneous nature of the disorder. Furthermore, two areas of diagnostic methods aimed at neglect detection are discussed, which are the classic "paper-pencil" tests and functional tests. Finally, these methodological areas are put into relationship, the work discusses their possible complementarity and also their use in clinical practice. In the empirical part we focus on selected classic methods and their ability to diagnose mild neglect in the Czech population. For 64 patients, we compared the sensitivity of the Bells test, the line bisection test, and the scene copying test using different criteria. We also examined double dissociations and relationships between tests, and then the relationships between the ability of instruments to detect neglect and the characteristics of probands. The results mostly confirmed the findings of the theoretical part of the thesis. The sensitivity of the methods was low and variable, there were double dissociations between the line bisection test and the other tests, and there were practically no statistically significant correlations...

Lokalizace hlavních zdrojů hluku spalovacího motoru s využitím akustické emise / Localization of Combustion Engine Noise Origin with the use of Acoustic Emission

Rasch, František January 2012 (has links)
This doctoral thesis deals with the diagnostics of combustion engines, which have clearly suffered a mechanical damage. The text describes a basic principle of a diagnostics based on an observation of a noise of a running engine. There are mentioned the basic methods of a noise recording with direct conection to the specifics of measurement a running combustion engine noise. The introduction describes the spread of a vibration in solid structures. For the combustion engine vibration and source of noise is dedicated an independent chapter, which focuses on all noise generators, not only mechanical and thermodynamic but also noise caused by fluid and gas flowing. An integral part of the thesis is also a list and examples of signal processing, serving for efficient localization of the noise root cause. The noise statistics are compared with event diagram of engine investigation. Considering the information of the crank shaft position, we are then able to localize a possible root cause of the mechanical problem. For this purpose unique computer software for MS Windows operation system was developed. This system is able to generate event timelines of the piston engines. The inputs are basic engine data, such as the number of cylinders, ignition sequence, valve timing diagrams and information regarding two stroke or four stroke engine types. The program also allows us to detect a potential damage by direct comparison of the engine timeline and noise signal input. The thesis is also supplemented by measurements serving for key-parameter-diagnostics, i.e. the selection of the most suitable running engine operation. Comparison of different technical diagnostic approaches shows the suitability of mentioned diagnostic process.

Posttraumatická stresová porucha v souvislosti s porodem - rizikové faktory a diagnostika / Post-traumatic stress disorder related to the childbirth: risk factors and diagnostics

Ženíšková, Karolína January 2019 (has links)
About 4 % women in general population and up to 19 % women in at-risk population suffer from PTSD related to childbirth. The main risk factors for postpartum PTSD are negative birth experience and obstetric emergencies. However, the findings about risk factors and prevalence rates vary across studies, which is mainly due to the inconsistency in the diagnostics of postpartum PTSD. Researchers use various PTSD measures that differ in the number and type of symptoms monitored and many of these measures do not cover all DSM criteria for PTSD. Furthermore, the PTSD diagnostic criteria have been significantly modified in the new DSM-5 and the existing instruments need to be revised. The first part of the thesis presents the concept of PTSD related to childbirth. Special attention is paid to the risk factors identified in previous research and to the analysis of PTSD diagnostic and screening measures used in the postpartum context. The aim of the second part of the thesis is to evaluate the psychometric properties of the unpublished Childbirth-Related PTSD Questionnaire on a sample of 620 Czech women. The factor validity of the scale, the internal consistency of the total scale and the subscales resulting from the factor analysis; and the criterion validity of the instrument are verified. With regard to...

K indentifikaci předpokladů v triatlonu / About identification of motor predispositions in triathlon

Kovářová, Lenka January 2011 (has links)
Title: About identification of motor predispositions in triathlon Aims: The aim of our study was to find and verify appropriate indicators predicting the on-coming performance in a short triathlon and determine their level for the junior category. Methods: In our study, we combined quantitative and qualitative approaches with a predominance of quantitative methods. In the first phase of the research, we used quantitative methods, confirmatory factor analysis for verification of models of predispositions and elaboration of performance standards for individual tests by means of T-points. In the second part of the research, we used the qualitative method (casuistic studies) to validate the test battery and its application in practice. Results: We have compiled a structural model of motor predispositions for short triathlon, which explained 91% of all cross-correlations of seventeen used indicators. Predispositions for triathlon were categorized into five separate groups; for swimming, cycling and running (i.e. according to individual disciplines), and functional and psychological predispositions. Finding a lower limit boundary of performance in the completed tests is considered to be the most important issue for the assessment of future performance in triathlon. As a lower limit we have set the zone...

Strukturovaný rozhovor pro alternativní model poruch osobnosti ve vztahu se sebeposouzením / Structured interview for the alternative model of personality disorders in relation to self-report

Afanasyeva, Krystsina January 2021 (has links)
This thesis deals with diagnostic methods for personality disorders - a questionnaire LPFS-BF 2.0 and a semi-structured interview STiP-5.1. Both methods assess the level of personality functioning from The DSM-5 Alternative Model for Personality Disorders. The main aim of that study is to compare a self-report method and a method based on clinical assessment on a sample of N = 30 non-psychiatric group and N = 30 clinical group. Diagnostic criteria for personality disorders in accordance with valid classification systems are presented in the theoretical part of the study, with an emphasis on benefits and limitations of the DSM-5 alternative model. Categorial and dimensional diagnostic approaches were compared and critically evaluated. Existing diagnostic methods for personality disorders were then discussed, structured interviews and questionnaires were analyzed more in detail. Specifics in use of self- report methods and structured interviews for assessing personality disorders were also discussed. In the empirical part a quantitative analysis was held to discover whether both methods mentioned above assess the same level of personality functioning, and also whether both methods differentiate between the control and clinical groups. The results have shown significant correlations between scores of...

Syndrom vyhoření a jeho dopad na pracovníky pomáhajících profesí v církvi / Burn-out syndrom and its impact on workers of helping profession in the Church

Kamarýtová, Anna January 2014 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the topic of burnout syndrome and its impact on Church related community workers, in order to determine how much are these workers endangered, how to take care of these workers and whether their employers are familiar with the risks of burnout syndrome. The first chapters are devoted to the theoretical definition of burnout syndrome in the overall view on this issue, but also takes a closer look on Church related community workers in the helping profession in the Church. I'm trying to capture a fully describe the motivation for helping, factors leading to burnout syndrome, diagnosis, prevention and treatment. The final chapter and the whole practical part is devoted to the history and characteristics of the studied groups, which form the priests of the three largest churches in our country: Roman Catholic, Evangelical and Czechoslovak Hussite Church. This part is a quantitative research. To illustrate the work I decided to include three case studies that document the real life stories of burnout syndrome at different stages.
