Návrh využití vývojového rámce Scrum a modelovacího jazyka UML pro zefektivnění tvorby webových stránek. / The proposal to use agile development procedures of Scrum framework with UML modeling language applicable for creating websites

Kučera, Antonín January 2013 (has links)
The main goal of this diploma thesis is the proposal to use agile development procedures of Scrum framework with UML modeling language applicable for creating websites of small scale. The emphasis is especially put on creating a practically usable type model of the websites. The theoretical part of the thesis has two main chapters. In the "Agile methodology" chapter are listed principles of agile approach to creating software. The next part of this chapter is focus on agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, ASD, FDD, DSDM, LD and Crystal). In the "UML" chapter is introduced modeling language UML and its principles. The next part of this chapter is focus on UML diagrams used in practical part of this thesis (use case diagram, class diagram, sequence diagram, activity diagram and deployment diagram). The practical part of this thesis focuses on the design type model for creating websites of small scale. The type model is based both on the theoretical part of this work and practical experience of the author. In the first part is introduced scheme of model, where is shown the mutual relationship of individual phases. In the next part of this chapter are discussed the individual phases where is used the principle of agile development framework Scrum and examples of use of the UML diagrams.

Vlastnosti textu jako faktor řešení slovních úloh s využitím Vennových diagramů / Text properties as a factor in solving word problems with the use of Venn diagrams

Návarová, Daniela January 2011 (has links)
Title: Text properties as a factor in solving word problems with the use of Venn diagrams Author: Bc. Daniela Návarová Department: Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Education Supervisor: doc. RNDr. Jarmila Novotná, CSc. Supervisor's e-mail address: Jarmila.Novotna@pedf.cuni.cz This diploma thesis deals with the word problems where Venn diagrams can be used. The word problems are studied as texts and their specific text properties are scrutinised in the first, theoretical, part of the thesis. The second part describes an experiment that focuses on the importance of text properties of word problems for the problem solvers. The main aims of this diploma thesis are to show the possibility of textual examination of the chosen texts and to unfold some connections between the mathematical and linguistic views on the area of word problems. Keywords: text, word problem, Venn diagram

Universal Product Design: Transforming User Activity Into Product Function

Kostovich, Vincent 2009 December 1900 (has links)
Many people have disabilities and would like to have all of the amenities typical of daily life. Universal product design is important in designing for the disabled and creating user-friendly products for all people. The goal of this thesis is to develop a universal product method by understanding how user activity closely resembles product function. The research results include a twenty product pair study in which a universal and typical product were compared. An activity diagram and functional model for each product in the product pair were the design tools used for this comparison. User activities were used to cluster product function changes. In addition, design changes such as functional, morphological and parametric were identified between the universal and typical product. The result was an action-function diagram showing the clusters and design changes for all of the twenty product pairs. An interactive GUI universal product design repository detailing the information from the action-function diagrams was created and used for eventual modification of typical products to make them universal. A universal product family was created using a user-centric universal design method developed because of the universal product design repository. Furthermore, user disability ratings from the ICF helped to expand the database and make creation of a universal product family more focused on levels of disability. The useful application of the research will be in developing a universal design method for product designers and engineers. This method will be broken down into a design structure matrix representation of functions from a universal product family of household kitchen appliances. In addition, an embodied concept for a product family consisting of existing accessible dispensers will be used to validate the universal design method developed from the twenty product study. Both case studies will serve as an example of how to extend universal design principles to a wide range of consumer product categories.

Enumerace vyplnění polyomin / Enumeration of polyomino fillings

Karpilovskij, Mark January 2018 (has links)
We prove two new results about 0-1-fillings of skew diagrams avoiding long increasing and decreasing chains. In the first half of the thesis, we show that for a large class of skew diagrams, there is a bijection between sparse fillings avoiding an increasing chain of fixed length and sparse fillings avoiding a decreas- ing chain of the same length. In the second half, we extend a known inequality between the number of sparse 0-1-fillings of skew diagrams avoiding an increasing chain of length 2 and a decreasing chain of length 2 to all 0-1-fillings. 1

Analýza chyb ve výrobním procesu a jejich odstraňování / Analysis of errors in the manufacturing process and their elimination

Slabyhoudek, Jiří January 2014 (has links)
This thesis deals with the analysis of assembly lines and improve of individual assembly processes to achieve the minimum number of discordant products . It consists of four parts - the first part of this labour deals with general information about the methods of quality control , which are beeing designed to improve actively used . The second part is devoted to the analysis of assembly lines in the company with regard to the financial value of discordant products that are on the line depreciated. Based on the results of determining the most critical line, which is then subjected to a thorough investigation. The third section focuses on selected critical line, you can find here a detailed analysis of discordant products and here is beeing established the root, that causes defects . Based on the information is beeing designed improvement and its application to the assembly line. The fourth section deals with a brief summary of all applicable suggestions for improvement and evaluation of their effectiveness.

Automatic development of global phase diagrams for binary systems in pressure-temperature space

Yang, Quan 25 August 2006
Global phase diagrams of binary systems in pressure-temperature (PT) space are very useful. In this project the techniques to automatically develop global phase diagrams in PT space were created. The codes to compute different components of a global phase diagram in PT space were developed. These codes were then successfully incorporated into a single functional program. <p>To generate the binary PT phase diagram, the overall composition was varied from pure component 2, the least volatile component (LVC) to pure component 1, the most volatile component (MVC). The step size for changing mole fraction was varied in the calculation of different parts of a global phase diagram. When the points near the joining points between different parts were computed, the step size was set to a rather small value. The step size was then increased to twice of the last value for each subsequent point computed. When the MVC mole fraction was approaching one, the step size was set to a small value to obtain enough points needed to minimize the chances of missing important phenomena. <p>The techniques to set initial guesses for evaluation of different components of a global phase diagram were discussed. The code performance, including the number of iterations for different convergence criteria and the sensitivity of the algorithm were presented. Using the code developed, phase diagrams of type I, type II, type III and type V were generated using representative binary systems from the petroleum processing field. <p>The boundary states between different types of phase behaviour were also explored. It was observed that with the increase of the binary interaction parameters, the phase behaviour of the ethane + ethanol binary system changes from type I to type II to type III while the methane + n-hexane binary system changes from type V to type III. These conclusions matched the results of van Konynenburg and Scott (1980). It was also concluded that with the increase of the binary interaction parameter for a binary system, the system showed a trend to exhibit more liquid-liquid immiscibility.

A Novel Structure to Suppress the Crosstalk Noise on Coupled Plating Bars

Cheng, Hao 30 July 2012 (has links)
In the BGA family package, plating bars must be added in the manufactured processing , However they will cause discontinuities[1]¡Bradiation effect[2] and bad transmission efficiency[3]~[6].This paper considers the signal transmission problem caused by the couple plating lines. This thesis starts from analyzing the different terminations of the couple lines, then proposes a novel L-stub element structure which can decrease the crosstalk noise efficiently on the plating lines. Discussion of the L-stub length ratio, L-stub position and the numbers of the L-stub then provides the useful range. The basic idea is to use the reflection of source to cancel the original couple and doesn¡¦t have to add additional element. In addition, it compares well with other methods which are also designed for reducing crosstalk and circuits are implemented to prove our design. Last of all, using the eye diagram to manifest the signal quality improvement.
