Orientador: José Horta Nunes / Banca: Claudia Maria Xatara / Banca: Suzy Maria Lagazzi Rodrigues / Resumo: Seguindo a teoria e o método da Análise do Discurso de linha francesa, propomos analisar discursivamente a produção lexicográfica de Francisco da Silveira Bueno. Este autor publicou diversas obras na área da Literatura e da Lingüística, mas também teve grande destaque público por sua produção lexicográfica. Nosso objetivo é analisar o discurso dos seus dicionários. Como questão específica, temos a noção de autoria, ou seja, a posição do autor Silveira Bueno na história da constituição de um autor brasileiro de dicionários e, também, as maneiras de se posicionar como autor no discurso dos dicionários. Assim, analisamos questões como a posição de Silveira Bueno como autor de dicionários na história da constituição das idéias lingüísticas brasileiras, a apresentação do autor no discurso dos dicionários, a maneira como ela é feita e quais as relações de sentido que são estabelecidas por essa apresentação. Nosso corpus é composto pelos prefácios e por uma amostragem de verbetes das edições de seus dicionários. Dividimos o conjunto de obras em três séries, de acordo com a tipologia e com algumas características discursivas. Na primeira série estão os dicionários escolares, incluindo os de versão mini; na segunda série estão os dicionários gerais de língua publicados por editoras independentes do Estado; já na terceira estão presentes os dicionários etimológicos. Entre outros resultados, observamos que, enquanto na primeira e na segunda série de dicionários o autor é apresentado por meio de uma discursividade relatada, pelas instituições publicadoras, a terceira série traz textos próprios de autoria, em que há uma afirmação dessa autoria por meio dos posicionamentos teóricos adotados por ele. / Abstract: According to the theory and the method of Discourse Analysis, we intend to analyse Francisco da Silveira Bueno's lexicographical production in a discoursive way. The author has published many works in the field of Literature and Linguistics, but is also known for his lexicographical production. Our aim is to analyse the discourse in his dictionaries. As a central research topic, we have the notion of authory, in other words, the author Silveira Bueno's position in history of the constitution of a Brazilian dictionary author and also, the ways to position himself as an author in his dictionaries discourse. Thus, questions such as Silveira Bueno's position as a dictionary author in the history of the constitution of the Brazilian linguistic ideas, the author's presentation in the dictionaries discourse, in what ways this happens and the sense relations which are stablished by this presentation were analysed. Our corpus is composed by the prefaces and a sampling of entries of his dictionaries editions. The set of works was divided into three series, according to the typology and some discursive characteristics. The school dictionaries are in the first series, including the minidictionaries; the general language dictionaries published by independent State publishers are in the second series, and in the third one, the etymological dictionaries. Among other results, we observed that, while in the first and second series of dictionaries the author is presented by a reported discursivity, by the publishing industries, the third series brings his own authory texts in which there is a statement of this authory through the theoretical positionings he adopts. / Mestre

O corpus foi composto a partir de redações produzidas por alunos moradores da Zona Norte e por recortes de dois jornais (Jornal Região Norte e Diário da Região). Verificamos como eixo organizador a tensão entre dentro e fora, periferia e centro, ordem e organização. Nas redações, os sujeitos-moradores salientam o conflito entre socius e hostis, contrapondo em vários momentos a imagem que os de fora têm do bairro, em geral negativa e criminalizante. Opõem-se a esses sentidos em movimentos de resistência, inclusive contra a polícia, num funcionamento que chamamos de virar do avesso as relações de sentido no espaço urbano. Já os jornais, assentam-se num desejo de controle da polêmica, com a figura do jornalista atuando na posição de mediador entre a populção e o poder público. Os sentidos negativos do espaço urbano vão sendo relativizados até que os problemas do bairro cedam espaço a particularidades. Há, pois, uma sobredeterminação da idealização da organização urbana sobre a ordem na Zona Norte / Abstract: This work was dedicated to the understanding of the meaning constitution of neighborhood and occupant-subject of São José do Rio Preto north region, using the analytic and theoric aspects of Discourse Analysis. The corpus was composed from writings produced by students living in the north region and newspaper clippings (Jornal Região Norte e Diário da Região). It was verified as the organizer axis the tension between inside and outside, suburb and downtown, order and organization. In the writings, the occupant-subjects highlighted the conflict between socius and hostis, opposing the image that outsiders have of the neighborhood, in general negative and criminalizing. They oppose to these assumptions by means of resistance movements, even against the police, in a reaction the we called "turning inside out" the relationships meanings in the urban space. The newspapers demonstrate a desire to control the polemic, with the journalist acting in a mediator position between the population and the public power. The negative meanings of urban space are minimized until the problems of the neighborhood give space to particularities. There is thus a overdetermination of the idealization of the urban organization in the north region order / Doutor

Ela não estaciona na interpretação; trabalha seus limites e seus mecanismos como parte do processo de significação. É por meio da informação mediada no discurso que a ideologia torna possível a relação entre o pensamento, a linguagem e o mundo. O objetivo do trabalho é o de, por meio de editoriais da Folha Universal (FU), analisar quais as estratégias discursivas utilizadas por Edir Macedo, já que o poder e a eloquência do discurso mediado pelo bispo sobre os fiéis encontra-se em posição de destaque frente às transformações da sociedade contemporânea. A dissertação apresenta ideia embrionária de Informação Religiosa, mostra a igreja como mais um elemento na concepção de espaço informacional e propõe a necessidade de compreender o mediador da informação como um intelectual orgânico. O método escolhido para o desenvolvimento da pesquisa foi a AD, que dispensa a formulação de metodologia, já que para a AD, metodologia e teoria são inseparáveis. As ideias e propostas apresentadas visam servir para ampliar a concepção de informação, mediador e espaço informacional trabalhados na Ciência da Informação (CI). Por fim, conclui-se que as estratégias discursivas utilizadas pelo líder da Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus (IURD) são prioritariamente constituídas por elementos persuasivos. Dessa forma, o estudo é essencial para que se possa lidar com esse tipo de informação nas Unidades de Informação, além de contribuir para novos estudos no campo / Abstract: Speech Analysis (SA) has been essential for the understanding of the mechanisms of language. It does not stop at interpretation; it goes around its limitations and mechanisms, as part of the process of meaningfulness. It is through mediated information in speech that ideology enables the relation among thought, language and the world. The aim of this paper is to analyze, through publishing of 'Folha Universal' (FU), which are the speech strategies used by Edir Macedo, since the power and eloquence of the speech about the believers mediated by the bishop is found to be in outstanding position before the transformations of the contemporary society. The dissertation presents the initial idea of Religious Information, presenting the church as another factor in the conception of informational space and proposing a necessity for understanding the information mediator as an organic intellectual being. The method chosen for the research development was SA, which dismisses the formulation of methodology, since for SA methodology and theory are inseparable. The ideas and proposals hereby presented aim at working for the broadening of the conception of information, mediator and informational space developed in Science of Information (SI). Lastly, it is concluded that the speech strategies used by the leader of 'Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus' (IURD) are mainly constructed by persuasive elements. A proposta desenvolvida tem como objetivo o estudo dos enunciados para a identificação da identidade do caminhoneiro a partir de algumas temáticas de maior incidência na coleta. Foram utilizados 4.101 enunciados de caminhão coletados em treze títulos relacionados ao estudo desse assunto. A tese está composta de quatro capítulos. O primeiro capítulo tem como título ―A Análise do Discurso‖ e expõe dados históricos e conceituais desse campo de conhecimento para a análise dos enunciados. O segundo capítulo é ―O gênero enunciados de caminhão‖ e fala sobre gênero, enunciado e histórico dos enunciados de caminhão. O terceiro capítulo tem como título ―A identidade‖ e é construído com o intuito de apresentar a teoria sobre a identidade que vai contribuir para melhor analisar os enunciados de caminhão.O quarto capítulo tem como título ―A análise dos enunciados‖ e é construído para analisar os enunciados de caminhão presentes no Apêndice. A escolha temática é bem diversificada, facilmente identificada quando é feita uma lista dos enunciados de caminhão, mas há alguns temas mais recorrentes, refletindo a identidade dessa categoria: mulher, religião, amor, questão social e situação de trânsito / Abstract: Research titled Utterances truck: truck driver's identity. The developed proposal aims of the study set out to identify the identity of the trucker from some issues with the highest incidence in the collection. We used 4101 truck statements collected in thirteen titles related to the study of this subject. The thesis is composed of four chapters. The first chapter is entitled ―The Analysis of Discourse‖ and exposes the conceptual and historical data in this field of knowledge to the analysis of the statements. The second chapter is "The truck contained gender" and talks about sex, set out the wording and history of the truck. The third chapter is titled "Identity" and is built with the intention of presenting a theory about the identity that will help to better analyze the utterances of the truck. The fourth chapter is entitled "Analysis of the statements' and is built to analyze the utterances of these trucks in the Appendix. The thematic choice is diverse, easily identified when a list of statements made by truck, but there are some recurring themes, reflecting the identity of that category / Doutor

Discursos de licenciandos, docentes universitários e professores em exercício ouvidos durante o processo foram analisados, procurando-se entender como as demandas dos diversos grupos influenciaram na estrutura curricular resultante deste processo. Para a leitura e interpretação dos efeitos de sentidos presentes em documentos e discursos dos sujeitos envolvidos nesse processo foram adotados referenciais teórico-metodológicos embasados em teorias críticas sobre o desenvolvimento curricular e na Análise de Discurso de linha francesa, proposta por Michel Pêcheux (2002), bem como em noções derivadas dos estudos deste autor desenvolvidas no Brasil por Orlandi (2001; 2003). Discute-se a natureza da proposta pedagógica final, que se situou entre as exigências legais e a realidade acadêmica. A legislação consultada, os professores em exercício, os licenciandos e os formadores na Universidade, cada qual falando a partir de posições definidas, forneceram subsídios ou sinalizaram o que e como a estrutura curricular e o projeto pedagógico deste Curso de Licenciatura em Física poderia ter ou ser alterado. / Abstract: This research deals with physics teachers pre-service education, having as background a physics education undergraduate program' curriculum reestructuration process, carried out in a public university. Pre-service, in-service physics teachers and university professors' discourses were analyzed during the process, in order to search for understanding how the claims from the different groups influenced in the resultant curricular structure. To read and interpret the sense effects present in documents and subjects evolved in this process discourses heoretic-methodological referential based on curricular development critical theories and the Michel Pechêux (2002) French approach discourse analysis were adopted, as well as those derived from this author's developed in Brazil by Orlandi (2001, 2003). The restructured pedagogical proposal form, which was placed between the legal demand and the academic reality, is discussed. The legislation consulted, the in-service teachers, the future teachers and the university professors, which one speaking from defined position, whether provided subsides or signalized what and how the curricular structure and the pedagogical project should have or be changed. / Doutor

Nosso corpus constitui-se de algumas páginas publicitárias da Revista Veja do período de Maio a Julho de 2008. A partir dessas propagandas procuramos depreender as regularidades do funcionamento do discurso propagandístico, bem como delimitar as marcas lingüísticas e nãolinguísticas do processo de individualização do sujeito presentes no discurso em questão. A publicidade exerce papel fundamental na sociedade contemporânea, explicitando a relação do sujeito com o conjunto social, em determinada conjuntura histórica. O texto publicitário influencia a constituição de sentidos junto aos leitores, interpelando os mesmos enquanto sujeitos. O discurso publicitário tem um funcionamento que lhe é próprio e que, portanto, lhe dá especificidade. Assim sendo, esse discurso se particulariza, remetendo-nos às formações imaginárias e ideológicas ali presentes. Baseando-se na relação linguagem e contexto, a Análise de Discurso busca explicitar como, em seu funcionamento, o texto produz sentidos, sempre observando as condições de produção. Visa-se, ainda, à compreensão da historicidade dos sentidos e dos sujeitos. No que se refere às regularidades encontradas no funcionamento do discurso propagandístico, percebemos a relação estabelecida entre o sonho, o desejo e a ideologia; a sustentação dos dizeres dos anúncios pela forma-sujeito histórica da atualidade; o atravessamento (tanto no verbal quanto no não-verbal) do discurso publicitário por outros discursos como o ecológico, sobre a beleza, sobre a mulher, da globalização. Quanto às marcas lingüísticas da individualização, apontamos a pronominalização (seu, sua), que individualiza por marcar um certo tipo de abordagem junto... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: This dissertation presents an analysis of the individualization process in the advertising discourse, based on the theoretical perspective of Discourse Analysis. The corpus consists of some advertising pages of Veja Magazine from May to July of 2008. Based on the advertisings, this research looked for describe some regularities of advertising discourse working, as well as set out some linguistic and non-linguistic marks of the individualization process in this discourse. Advertising plays a fundamental role in the contemporary society, expliciting the relation between subject and the social set, in certain historical period. Advertising texts influence the construction of meanings , interpellating readers. Advertising discourse has a proper working that particularizes it. So, this discourse is very specific, and reveal the imaginary and ideological formations. Based on the relation between language and context, Analysis Discourse points out, how in its working, text creates some meanings, always observing the production conditions. The aim, even, is to understand the historicity of subjects and meanings. Regarding to the regularities that were found in the advertising discourse there are the relation among dream, desire and ideology; statements of advertising are supported by the historical form-subject; the "crossing" of advertisings by other discourses like environmental, about beauty, about women and globalization discourse. Referring to the linguistic marks of individualization process, there are the pronominalization (your) which individualizes due to a certain kind of reader's approach; the use of some adjectives (exclusive, personalized) which refers to the reader named as "you"; imperative mood that establishes identification between to say and to do. Constituem o corpus desta pesquisa duas ações cíveis públicas de Improbidade Administrativa das quais foi extraído o repertório lexical examinado nos capítulos que compõem esta tese. Com base no referencial teórico da Análise do Discurso de linha francesa, pôde-se compreender o vocabulário jurídico a partir dos sujeitos constituídos ideologicamente em condições de produção específicas. Primeiramente, buscou-se elaborar um quadro representativo dos vocábulos que compõem os modos de tratamento e as formas de denominação em peças processuais. Despertado o interesse por esse aspecto, examinaramse as ocorrências lexicais inscritas nos autos elaborados por sujeitos que enunciam a partir das formações discursivas jurídicas. Em um segundo momento, analisaram-se tanto as ocorrências de expressões latinas quanto as de unidades léxicas da língua portuguesa pouco usuais. O número de ocorrências e o modo como o sujeito empregou o vocabulário selecionado sempre foram levados em consideração no momento de análise dos dados obtidos. Nossa hipótese era de que o fato de haver tantas expressões rebuscadas em textos jurídicos escritos na atualidade não se constituía apenas como uma escolha. Por esse motivo, foi necessário elaborar um capítulo que retratasse, ainda que brevemente, a profissionalização do Direito e as incumbências dos profissionais dessa área. Procurou-se interpretar as ocorrências lexicais em dois processos por meio de uma análise comparativa, a fim de verificar as regularidades no emprego de expressões eruditas como uma prática discursiva no jurídico. Its purpose is to analyze the vocabulary of juridical enunciations with erudition effect under a discourse perspective. Two public civil actions of Administrative Impropriety are the corpora of this research, from where the lexical items were extracted and afterwards analyzed in the chapters of this thesis. Based on the French Discourse Analysis theoretical framework, it was possible to understand the juridical vocabulary from the subjects ideologically constituted in specific production conditions. Firstly, it was intended to draw up a representative picture of the vocabulary that forms the titles and the naming processes in legal briefs. Having aroused the interest for this aspect, the lexical occurrence registered in the set of legal briefs written by subjects that enunciate based on the juridical discourse statements was analyzed. Secondly, it was also analyzed the occurrence of Latin expressions and the lexical units of the Portuguese language that were considered less usual. The number of occurrences and the way the subject uses the selected vocabulary were taken into consideration at the moment of the analysis of the obtained data. Our hypothesis was that as there were so many elaborated expressions in current juridical texts, it was not considered only a choice. For this reason, it was necessary to write a chapter that explained briefly the professionalization of the Law and the duties concerning the professionals of this area. It was tried to interpret the lexical occurrences in two processes by means of a comparative analysis, in order to verify the regularities in the use of scholarly expressions as a discourse practice in the juridical area. Orientador: José Horta Nunes / Banca: Mónica Graciela Zoppi-Fontana / Banca: Suzy Lagazzi / Resumo: O objetivo deste trabalho é realizar, com base na teoria e nos métodos adotados pela escola francesa da Análise do Discurso, uma análise de discursos que compõem mesmos trajetos temáticos, formulados em telejornais e telenovelas, programas que têm como proposta apresentar, respectivamente, o factual e a ficção na televisão. Como objetos de análise, foram selecionados a telenovela O Clone, de Glória Perez (transmitida entre os meses de outubro de 2001 e junho de 2002, no horário das 20 horas, pela Rede Globo de Televisão) e o Jornal Nacional, exibido diariamente pela mesma emissora. No corpus selecionado, foram identificados para análise três trajetos temáticos - falsificação e contrabando de mercadorias, uso e tráfico de drogas e clonagem. Com o emprego do método lingüístico e histórico, que busca descrever as sistematicidades lingüísticas e as regularidades discursivas no corpus selecionado, estabelecendo as relações entre a língua, a história, o sujeito e o dizer, a análise identifica como se constituem sentidos para a realidade e a ficção nesses discursos televisivos. A análise do processo discursivo dos três trajetos temáticos permite afirmar que telejornal e telenovela, embora tenham objetivos distintos e estruturas diferenciadas, constituem discursos complementares, por meio da atualização de uma memória comum e da formulação em mesmas formações discursivas. No discurso que reúne realidade e ficção, os programas analisados buscam o sentido único com o predomínio da paráfrase sobre a polissemia, o emprego de mesmas designações e formações imaginárias comuns sobre os sujeitos do discurso. / Abstract: This dissertation aims at carrying out a discourse analysis based on the theory and the methodology of the French School of Discourse Analysis, with the same theme present in news programs and soap operas that are intended to show reality and fiction on television, respectively. O Clone soap opera, written by Glória Perez (broadcasted from October/2001 to June/2002 at 8 o'clock p.m. by Rede Globo de Televisão) and Jornal Nacional news program, broadcasted daily by the same channel, were selected to be analyzed. In the selected corpus, three themes were identified goods falsification and smuggling, drug use and traffic, and cloning. The analysis identifies how reality and fiction are constituted in these programs by making use of linguistics and historical methods, which aims to describe the linguistics systematicities and the discursive regularities in the selected corpus establishing the relationship among language, history, subject and the telling. The analysis of the discursive process of the three themes allows us to state that news programs and soap operas, although having distinct objectives and differentiated structures, constitute complementary discourses through the common memory updating and the formulation in the same discursive formations. In the discourse that is comprised of reality and fiction, the analyzed programs search for the unique sense with the predominance of paraphrases over polysemy. They also employ the same designations and ordinary imaginary formations on the discourses subjects. / Mestre

Orientador: Helio Rebello Cardoso Junior / Banca: Sonia Regina Vargas Mansano / Banca: Deivis Perez Bispo dos Santos / Resumo: Este trabalho de pesquisa pretende abordar questões referentes à temática da Educação, mais especificamente a respeito do sujeito pedagógico no contemporâneo, a partir de uma hipótese de estudo que sustenta que tal sujeito seria constituído a partir de práticas discursivas e técnicas particulares de governo baseadas na pedagogia, cujos desenvolvimentos podem ser traçados historicamente. O trabalho consiste em pesquisar a respeito do modo como operam discursividades e mecanismos pedagógicos na constituição de sujeitos e subjetividades na sociedade contemporânea, utilizando, para tanto, como material de análise, um conjunto de artigos acadêmicos e científicos encontrados em uma revista de educação intitulada ―Pátio - Revista Pedagógica, editada pela ARTMED Editora S/A, especializada na edição de livros com o propósito de ―formação em educação. Tal revista, além de ser confeccionada e destinada principalmente à formação de profissionais da educação é inclusive distribuída a determinadas escolas da rede pública de ensino sob o subsídio do Ministério da Educação (M.E.C.) por meio do Fundo Nacional de Desenvolvimento da Educação. Para a análise dos textos da Revista, foram utilizados, como instrumentos metodológicos, as noções de ―Dispositivo, ―Discurso e ―Técnicas de si, sob a perspectiva do filósofo francês Michel Foucault. A discussão da análise se apresenta distribuída em 3 momentos: no primeiro, denominado dimensão discursiva, encontram-se expostos discursos, enunciados, frases e proposições referentes às mais diversas temáticas a respeito do sujeito pedagógico evidenciadas no decorrer da análise dos textos da ―Pátio - Revista Pedagógica. / Abstract: This research aims to address questions concerning the topic of education, more specifically about the pedagogical subject in the contemporary, by adopting the hypothesis that this individual would be constituted from particular discursive practices and techniques of government based on pedagogy, whose developments can be traced historically. The aim of this study was to investigate about how pedagogical discourses and mechanisms influencing in the development of subjects and subjectivity in contemporary society. Thus, were used for analysis, a set of articles on education taken from a magazine entitled Patio - Educational Magazine, specializes in publishing books about "teacher training" published by ARTMED Editora S/A, and also distributed to some public schools under the grant from the Ministry of Education (MEC) through the National Fund for Educational Development. The texts of the magazine were analyzed by resorting to the concepts of "apparatus", "discourse" and "techniques of the self" of the French philosopher Michel Foucault, used as methodological tools. Dentre essas pesquisas, destacam-se os estudos sobre a utilização das analogias e metáforas enquanto recurso didático mediador entre os procesos de ensino e de aprendizagem. No caso específico da pesquisa em Ensino de Física, muitos dos pesquisadores têm mostrado interesse no levantamento de fenômenos físicos que podem ser comparados através do uso dessas figuras de linguagem. Entretanto, as condições de produção das analogias e/ou metáforas pelo professor ou pelo aluno são ainda pouco estudadas, e a partir desta constatação é que esta pesquisa foi desenhada. Com o intuito de avançar nos estudos nessa linha, procura-se aqui responder a questões do tipo: como as analogias e metáforas são utilizadas nas aulas de física? / Abstract: The relation between language and science teaching has been a constant object of research in the last years, becoming a promising research line in Science Education. Among these researches, come up studies on the use of analogies and metaphors as mediator didatic resource between teaching and learning processes. In the specific case of the research in physics teaching, many of the researchers has showed interest in raising physical phenomena that can be compared through the use of these language figues. However, the analogies and/or metaphors production conditions by teachers or students are still little studied and that verification was important for the design of this research.
