Múltiplos e divisores de números naturais um estudo no quinto ano do ensino fundamental

Este trabalho é resultado de pesquisa desenvolvida no ano de 2013 em uma escola estadual de Ensino Fundamental, no Município de Itati, no Estado do Rio Grande do Sul, tendo como campo empírico a realização de dez encontros com uma turma do quinto ano do Ensino Fundamental com seis estudantes. A pesquisa abordou o estudo de múltiplos e divisores com auxílio do material didático “segredo dos números” via realização de atividades que viessem a auxiliar os alunos na construção dos conceitos de múltiplos e divisores de um número. O “segredo dos números” é um material didático criado pela professora Esther Pillar Grossi constituído por cartas nas quais os fatores primos dos números naturais são representados por símbolos. Na análise dos dados foi utilizada a Teoria dos Campos Conceituais de Gerard Vergnaud, com ênfase no campo conceitual multiplicativo. Constatou-se que os alunos evoluíram do ponto de vista da aprendizagem, nos conceitos relativos a múltiplos e divisores, desde o reconhecimento de um número primo, até as construções das maquetes de um número, que passa pela identificação de todos os divisores desse número. / This work is the result of research conducted in 2013 in a state school of Primary Education in Itati City, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil, it has as the empirical field the realization of ten meetings with a class of fifth grade of Elementary School with six students. The research addressed the study about multiples and dividers with the help of teaching materials “secret of the numbers" through the realization of activities that were to assist students in the building of concepts of multiple and dividers of a number. The "secret of numbers" is a didactic material created by Professor Esther Pillar Grossi composed of letters in which the prime factors of natural numbers are represented by symbols. In the datas’ analysis it was used the Theory of Conceptual Fields of Gerard Vergnaud, emphasizing the multiplicative conceptual field. It was found that students progressed from the point of view of learning in the concepts related to multiple and dividers, from the recognition of a prime number, to the construction of models of a number, which includes the identification of all divisors of that number.

Whereabouts : en tillflyktsort / Whereabouts : a hideaway

Jag har valt att kalla mitt projekt ”Whereabouts”, vilket betyder plats eller tillhåll. Och det är just en plats som jag försöker skapa i mitt examensarbete. Arbetet handlar om textil i rum och hur jag kan använda mig utav textil för att bygga upp en rumslighet. Fokus ligger på offentlig miljö, och hur jag i en sådan miljö kan skapa en plats för avskildhet och lugn. Lite som ett gömställe att fly till när omgivningen blir stökig och orolig. Det hela resulterar i en rumsavdelare i form av ett textilt tak och golv.Kärnan i projektet är att utforska hur jag kan skapa rumslighet, eller snarare illusionen av rumslighet då jag inte använder mig av några väggar som stänger av flödet i rummet. Istället undersöker jag om det skapas en känsla av att kliva in i ett annat område eller rum genom att föra in ett extra, lägre tak över ett begränsat område. Om det skapas en annan atmosfär under taket. För att ytterligare bygga på detta, arbetar jag även fram ett golv, som fungerar som en avspegling av taket och därmed binder ihop golv och tak.“Whereabouts” is a hideaway, a place to escape to when the surroundings are noisy and unrestful. With a room divider, in the form of a textile ceiling and floor, a place of serenity is created in the public room. Inspired by the spatiality created underneath the tree crown and of the light that seeps through the leaves, “Whereabouts” forms a more natural atmosphere in an otherwise artificial context.The work revolves around the use of textiles in interiors and how I can create spatiality, or rather the illusion of it, not using any walls. Design of integrated frequency synthesizers and clock-data recovery for 60 GHz wireless communications

In this dissertation, the development of the first 60 GHz-standard compatible fully integrated 4-channel phase-locked loop (PLL) frequency synthesizer has been presented. The frequency synthesizer features third-order single loop architecture with completely integrated passive loop filter that does not require any additional external passive component. Two possible realizations of fully integrated clock and data recovery (CDR) circuits suitable for 60 GHz-standard compliant base band signal processing have been presented for the first time as well. The two CDRs have been optimized for either high data rate (3.456 Gb/s) or very low power consumption (5 mW) and they both work with a single 1 V supply. The frequency synthesizer is intended to generate a variable LO frequency in a fixed-IF heterodyne transceiver architecture. In such configuration the channel selection is implemented by changing the LO frequency by the required frequency step. This method avoids quadrature 50 GHz up/down-conversion thereby lowering the LO mixer design complexity and simplifying the LO distribution network. The measurement results show the PLL locking correctly on each of the four channels while consuming 60 mW from a 1 V power supply. The worst case phase noise is measured to be -80.1 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz offset from the highest frequency carrier (56.16 GHz). The output spectrum shows a reference spur attenuation of -32 dBc. The high data rate CDR features a maximum operating data rate in excess of 3.456 Gb/s while consuming 30 mW of power. The low power CDR consumes only 5 mW and operates at a maximum data rate of 1.728 Gb/s. Over a 1.5 m 60 GHz wireless link, both CDRs allow 95% reduction of the pulse shaping generated input peak-to-peak jitter from 450 ps down to 50 ps.

Ο στόχος της διπλωματικής αυτής εργασίας είναι η μελέτη ενός διαφορικού ταλαντωτή Collpits ο οποίος λειτουργεί ως διαιρέτης συχνότητας με έγχυση ρεύματος στην πηγή, χαμηλού θορύβου και διαφορικής εισόδου, ως προς την κατανάλωση και το θόρυβο. Επίσης συγκρίνεται η απόδοσή του σε αυτούς τους τομείς με την απόδοση άλλων τοπολογιών αναλογικών διαιρετών συχνότητας αλλά και ψηφιακών. / The objective of this thesis is to study a Collpits differential oscillator which works as a low noise and differential input, current source injection frequency divider, by taking into account consumption and noise. Also the performance in these areas is compared with other topologies of analogue and/or digital frequency dividers.

Finally, we carried out an evaluation exercise with the objective of analyzing if the results regarding the content and the activities previously proposed were satisfactory. / A proposta deste trabalho é de realizar uma abordagem sobre os múltiplos e divisores, incluindo mínimo múltiplo comum e o máximo divisor comum, tendo em vista a dificuldade que os estudantes sentem ao se deparar com tal conteúdo na educação básica, objetivando um melhor entendimento a cerca do conteúdo e uma melhoria no que diz o respeito a aprendizagem dos educandos. A proposta foi aplicada em uma turma de 8 ano na Escola Técnica Agrícola Joaquim Limeira de Queiroz, na cidade de Puxinanã - PB, no mês de março de 2017. Foram abordados as definições de múltiplos, divisores, números primos e mínimo múltiplo comum e máximo divisor comum, e aplicadas atividades tais como: bingo dos divisores, a soma do quadrado mágico e a construção do Crivo de Eratóstenes. Por fim, realizamos um exercício avaliativo com o objetivo de analisar se os resultados a respeito do conteúdo e das atividades propostas anteriormente foram satisfatórias.

The reliability and validity of the facial anthropological device

Magister Scientiae Dentium - MSc(Dent) / It is generally agreed that the most troublesome procedure during the fabrication of complete dentures is the measurement of the Vertical Dimension at rest. The aim of this study was to test the reliability and validity of a new instrument called the Facial Anthropological Device (FAD). The measurements recorded were compared to the Willis gauge (being the gold standard) and dividers, which are mechanical aids used to quantify lower third facial height during denture construction. This thesis presents data on 35 edentulous and 35 dentate patients in the age range of 30 to 70 years, who presented at the University of the Western Cape Dental faculty.The FAD incorporates a ‘spirit‐level’ and uses more anatomical landmarks than any other measuring device noted in the literature. It measures facial landmarks in the midline and is not only used to measure the vertical dimension of the face, but with further research, may also be used in forensic studies. The Willis gauge is designed to measure the distance from the lower border of the septum of the nose to the lower border of the chin, and the distance from the outer canthus of the eye to the corner of the relaxed lip with the teeth in occlusion. The dividers measures two arbitrary points on the face.The study showed that the FAD was most similar to the Willis gauge where reliability and reproducibility was compared. There were no statistically significant differences (P > 0.05) between the two devices.The FAD has shown to be a reliable and valid instrument that could be used to measure facial vertical dimension in the edentulous as well as dentate patients, however with some modifications to its design.

Izražena je merna<br />nesigurnost kapacitivnog razdelnika napona Monte Karlo metodom.<br />Prikazan je način konstruisanja kapacitivnog razdelnika napona sa<br />talasovodnim prilagodnim otporom. Konstruisano je više tipova<br />kapacitivnih razdelnika napona izuzetno dobrih karakteristika. Measurement uncertainty of<br />capacitive voltage dividers is expressed by Monte Carlo method. The way of<br />constructing capacitive voltage dividers with a waveguide resistance is<br />shown in this thesis. The design of four types of capacitive voltage dividers<br />with extremely good features are shown. Based on these results, capacitive<br />voltage divider with best characteristics is selected and its measurement<br />uncertainty is expressed.</p>

The digital divider circuit is of great architectural complexity and may occupy a considerable area in the design of an integrated circuit, and as a consequence may have a great influence on the static and dynamic power dissipation of the circuit as a whole. In relation to the application of dividing circuits in circuits of the Digital Signal Processing (DSP) area, adaptive filters have a particular appeal, especially when using algorithms that perform a normalization in the input signals. In view of the above, this work focuses on the proposition of algorithms, techniques for reducing energy consumption and logical area, proposition and implementation of efficient dividing circuit architectures for use in adaptive filters. The Newton-Raphson and Goldschmidt iterative dividing circuits both operating at fixed-point were specifically addressed. The results of the synthesis of the implemented architectures of the divisors with the proposed algorithms and techniques showed considerable reduction of power and logical area of the circuits. In particular, the dividing circuits were applied in adaptive filter architectures based on the NLMS (Normalized least Mean Square) algorithm, seeking to add to these filters, characteristics of good convergence speed, combined with the improvement in energy efficiency. The adaptive filters implemented are used in the case study of harmonic cancellation on electrocardiogram signals / A operação de divisão em sistemas digitais tem sua relevância por se tratar de uma função necessária em diversas aplicações, tais como processadores de propósito geral, processadores digitais de sinais e microcontroladores. O circuito divisor digital é de grande complexidade arquitetural, podendo ocupar uma área considerável no projeto de um circuito integrado, e por consequência pode ter uma grande influência na dissipação de potência estática e dinâmica do circuito como um todo. Em relação à aplicação de circuitos divisores em circuitos da área DSP (Digital Signal Processing), os filtros adaptativos têm um particular apelo, principalmente quando são utilizados algoritmos que realizam uma normalização nos sinais de entrada. Diante do exposto, este trabalho foca na proposição de algoritmos, técnicas de redução de consumo de energia e área lógica, proposição e implementação de arquiteturas de circuitos divisores eficientes para utilização em filtros adaptativos. Foram abordados em específico os circuitos divisores iterativos Newton-Raphson e Goldschmidt ambos operando em ponto-fixo. Os resultados da síntese das arquiteturas implementadas dos divisores com os algoritmos e técnicas propostas mostraram considerável redução de potência e área lógica dos circuitos. Em particular, os circuitos divisores foram aplicados em arquiteturas de filtros adaptativos baseadas no algoritmo NLMS (Normalized least Mean Square), buscando agregar a esses filtros, características de boa velocidade de convergência, aliada à melhoria na eficiência energética.
