Der Aufsatz enthält eine Analyse von Richard Strauss' 'Frühling', dem ersten seiner letzten vier Lieder aus dem Jahr 1948. Ich verwende den harmonischen Dualismus von Moritz Hauptmann und Hugo Riemann - eine theoretische Perspektive, die die Ideale der deutschen Romantik widerspiegelt. Diesem Ansatz stelle ich die Schenker'schen und neo-Riemann'schen Analysen des Liedes von Richard Kaplan und Richard Cohn gegenüber. Zwei zentrale Merkmale meiner Analyse sind: 1) die Ablehnung der enharmonischen Äquivalenz und 2) die Funktion einer speziellen Art von überhöhter Sexte, einer 'Frühlingssext', die die Musik vorantreibt und dem Lied seinen charakteristischen chromatischen Klang verleiht. Unter Verwendung des Riemannschen Schritt/Wechsel-Systems zeichne ich die großräumigen harmonischen Bewegungen des Stücks auf einem 'Klangnetz' auf und zeige, wie die verschiedenen harmonischen Transformationen bestimmte Schlüsselbereiche artikulieren und die Bedeutung des Liedtextes reflektieren. / The paper presents an analysis of Richard Strauss’s “Frühling”, the first of his Last Four Songs composed in 1948. I adopt the harmonic dualism of Moritz Hauptmann and Hugo Riemann—a theoretical perspective which reflects the ideals of German Romanticism. I contrast this approach with Schenkerian and Neo-Riemannian analyses of the song by Richard Kaplan and Richard Cohn. Two features central to my analysis are: 1) the rejection of enharmonic equivalence, and 2) the function of a special type of augmented sixth, a “Frühling sixth”, which propels the music forward and gives the song its characteristic chromatic sound. Using Riemann’s Schritt/Wechsel system, I chart the large-scale harmonic moves of the piece on a ‘Klangnetz’, showing how the various harmonic transformations articulate certain key areas and reflect the meaning of the song’s text.

In der Literaturkritik gilt D.H. Lawrence als ebenso bedeutender wie streitbarer Autor von Romanklassikern wie Lady Chatterley's Lover, Women in Love oder The Rainbow. Durch das Aufkommen der gender studies existiert zudem eine nur schwer überschaubare Anzahl von Studien, die der Rolle der Sexualität sowie der Geschlechterkonzeption im Romanwerk von Lawrence gewidmet sind. Doch so klar die Literaturkritik diese Problematik erfaßt hat, so klar hat sie im Vergleich dazu - wenn auch mit Ausnahmen - Lawrences nicht nur zahlenmäßig großes lyrisches Werk ignoriert. Diese relative Vernachlässigung durch die Forschung ist um so erstaunlicher, als sich in Lawrences Lyrik viele Grundthesen, die er in seinen Romanen auf Hunderten von Seiten durchspielt, oft in extrem konziser Form finden. Wichtige Teile seiner 'Geschlechter-Philosophie' werden durch die Lyrik sogar antizipiert.

Die Betrachtung von der Stadt und dem Land als Gegensatzpaar, angespannte Wohnungsmärkte in städtisch geprägten Räumen und erhöhte Flächeninanspruchnahme in stärker ländlich geprägten Räumen werden zumeist weitgehend unabhängig voneinander diskutiert. Doch die sich reproduzierenden Stereotypen von „Stadt“ und „Land“ beeinflussen nicht nur das bereitgestellte Angebot in ländlichen Räumen und haben damit einen direkten Zusammenhang zur Höhe der Flächeninanspruchnahme, sondern wirken auch in innerstädtische Wohnungsmärkte und Segregationsprozesse hinein. Anhand von statistischen Daten sowie eigenen Erhebungen im Rahmen des Projektes Interko2 „Integriertes Wohnflächenkonzept in großstädtischen Wachstumsräumen“ wird an der Region Leipzig-Westsachsen beispielhaft die Wirkungsweise dieses Stadt-Land-Dualismus dargelegt und eine regionale Denkweise als Alternative aufgezeigt.

The Diploma Thesis deals with the relationship between International and European law in the context of actual events. The main aim is to analyse this relationship on the particular case of Yassin Abdullah Kadi by means of the wide scale of expert opinions and discussions. The main aim will be achieved through several partial aims (theoretical definition of essential conceptions relating to the theme, description of particular UN resolutions and their implementation into European law, analysis of the judgements of EU judicial authorities in the Kadi case).

A new hypothesis of matter formation after the big bang based on either particle-wave duality or electric dipole asymmetry. Both assumptions allow to postulate that the probability of matter formation is slightly higher than that of antimatter formation. As a consequence, this difference of probabilities ∆Pp for protons and ∆Pe with regard to electrons avoided complete annihilation in the beginning.

The subject of the thesis is analysis of executive and supervisory bodies of joint-stock companies based on the legislation effective since 1st January 2014. The goal is to describe the structure of such bodies, their establishment, competence and guidelines for action. By comparing with the former legislation, it aims to find the differences, new institutes a possibilities brought by the recodification of private law and thus evaluate their effect and possible future influence. The thesis also points out some potentially controversial parts and defects of the new legislation.

Annotation: The main topic of this thesis is an analysis of tameness and wildness phenomena in particular Hermann Hesse's novels. The main goal of this thesis is to describe the evolution of the concept of a world soul in the thought of Cambridge Platonist Henry More (1614-1687). However, this topic is discussed within the broader context of early modern philosophy and the birth of modern science. The philosophy of Henry More presents a very interesting confrontation between Renaissance Neo-Platonism and Cartesianism, early modern mechanicism and the newest scientific discoveries of his age, the notion of a world soul being exactly the point where all these thought currents meet. The classical conception of a platonic world soul in More's early thought later becomes the Spirit of Nature, a principle complimentary to mechanicism (and at the same time acting as its metaphysical foundation). Yet in order for the regularity of such phenomena as gravitation to be guaranteed, the Spirit of Nature has to be rid of any conscience and will of its own. However, besides this tendency to "strip" the world soul of its personal aspects, leading ultimately to the notion of a completely impersonal natural law, a deeper analysis of certain aspects of More's philosophical system shows also a determination to preserve the broader connections that tie the classical notion of a world soul to a specific world picture that does not necessarily fit...
