Temos aktualumas Pastaruoju metu įžengiame į tiekimo grandinės konkurencijos erą. Tai reiškia jog reikia suprojektuoti vertę sukuriančias sistemas, kurios gali reaguoti į staigius rinkos pokyčius, kurios atitinka patikimam vertės sukūrimo procesui užtikrinti keliamus reikalavimus ir organizuotos taip, kad tiekimo grandinės kaip visumos funkcionavimas garantuotų šių tikslų įgyvendinimą. Organizacijos geriau už konkurentus organizuodamos ir valdydamos savo pagrindinės veiklos procesus, gali sukurti savo klientams ir galutiniams vartotojams didesnę vertę. Patebėta, jog stambiosios kompanijos taip ir daro, t.y. stengiasi koncentruotis į savo pagrindinį verslą, patikėdamos tiekimą bei logistiką specialistams. Tokios pažangios kompanijos pradeda vertinti šiuos procesus kaip realų rinkos privalumų siekimo instrumentą. Todėl tiekimo ir logistikos paslaugų specialistams pateikiami vis didesni reikalavimai: ne tik nugabenti fizinį krovinį iš vienos vietos į kitą, bet ir integruoti informacinius bei dokumentų srautus su klientais ir trečiosiomis šalimis į vieną logistinį sprendimą, užtikrinti visą kompleksą paslaugų, suderintų su konkretaus kliento reikalavimais, t.y. suformuoti bei valdyti tiekimo grandines. So it seems the importance of the supply chain management was known from early ages, but acknowledged not so long time ago. In our days we are entering into the supply chain era of competition. It means we need to establish value creating systems, which can react instantly to market changes and which are organised in order to warranty optimal operating of supply chain mangement. SCM becoming more and more important not over the world, but in Lithuania as well (especially after 1991y.), as understanding of it‘s significant impact to companies activities and results is beeing recognized. This thesis deals with issue of the international trade with corn in terms of import to the Czech Republic. The target is to predict trends in trade with corn on the czech agricultural market in the world and according to selected criterions. Individual predictions are made using Gretl in future periods in the time from 2016 to 2020, where their essence is to evaluate theoretical and real dates in the development of maize in different years and indicators. The methodology is based on a coherent and deductive procedure. The main methodological framework of the work is structured analysis, which consists of several individual problem-solving stages. They are applied to the case method commodity studies, comparison, description of technical texts, reasoning and logical prediction. Processing the theoretical part of the study follows from legal standards, professional literature, articles and sources of printed and electronic character. In conclusion, it was found that the years 2017 and 2018 will develop in the individual indicators diversely, unstable. However, future prospects expect stabilization of business development with corn on the czech agricultural market until 2019. Year 2020 will bring negative development in trade with corn because of high prices. The productive year in the world was predicted in 2016 due to rising consumption and also production.

This dissertation deals with the topic business logistics. The object of this dissertation is a proposal of a logistic model. Among the supporting goals belongs the improvement, acceleration, expense-to-revenue ratio reduction and the total increase in efficiency of the business and logistic processes in a chosen company. The chosen company is Pražská energetika, a. s. that occupies with the electricity and gas distribution in Prague and in the town Roztoky. It belongs to the main electricity supplier in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of this dissertation explains and classifies concepts, e.g.: logistic development, supply, transport, storing, business logistics, distribution and logical information systems. The second part of the dissertation focuses on the trade logistic issues in the company Pražská energetika, PLC. On the basis of established information and executed surveys are drafted the solutions that can minimize the expenses and increase the efficiency of the logical and commercial model.

This thesis is concerned about logistics as a whole, with focusing on distribution logistics. It describes the distribution logistics sectors and evaluates the current situation in a particular company. The work focuses on some of the main sectors of distribution logistics, such as customer service, distribution chain, IT systems and transport systems and it brings suggestions to improve the logistic processes in selected company.

The first part of the thesis contains brief characteristic of the company, analasis of logistic services, level of services offered and logistic costs. The synthetic part of the thesis uses the knowledge from the analytical part to reach the goal of the thesis. Attention is also given to the evaluation of applied methods of collecting data. Methods used in the thesis are mostly observing, specifically the shot of a working day and measuring. The next method which is applied is a survey. The output of the synthetic part is an improvement proposal to existing processes, then suggestions for the future orientation in the area of communication technology, more specifically using the ECOM applications. In the synthetic part, there was used a mathematical model called travelling salesman problem to evaluate the optimality of courier routes.

Kalasová, L. Operation Research -- the tool to reduce the distribution costs of the transport company, Diploma work, Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2013. The master theses is focused on finding of the appropriate method solution to the composition routes and thereby on reducing of the distribution costs of the firm supplying the veterinary medications and aids. The work is divided into a literature review and its own work. The literature review provides the theoretical basis for the main work. It includes the issues of the logistics, the use of appropriate methods of the operation research and the description of the modular optimization program STORM. In the own work the activities of the company and the problem meant for a solution are described. The options are designed to troubleshoot and the optimization is carried out using the chosen method. In the conclusion, the final costs are calculated and compared with the existing situation.
