This thesis is focused on analyzing distribution logistics in the Coca Cola Company. The main topic of this work is to analyse today´s payment method of carriers and to find a new method. The theoretical part is about logistics with focus on distribution logistics. There are many methods which The Coca Cola Company uses. About all of them I will write lower. There is also a new method described. The Coca Cola Company started to use this new method on the 1st of April 2009.

The aim of this thesis was the analysis of the conditions for driving an international transportation company in European Union. The most important general conditions were analysed as well as the specific conditions that have to be kept in company Unitrans Bohemia because of the transported product´s character. Another aim of this work was the transportation of liquid foodstuff analysis, associated regulations and problems.

Thesis consist of two parts. The first part investigates theoretical aspects of logistics focused mainly on logistic chains in the automotive industry. The second, practical part, analysis Pre-series Logistics at Skoda Auto a.s., especially its specific warehouse number 29. Based on the method of "snapshot" process analysis, a new concept leading to an optimization of processes in the warehouse, was proposed. In addition, an implemantation of a new information "paper-free system" of the warehouse was suggested.

The aim of the thesis is to analyse current processes in the company and propose improvements in cutting costs. Attention is paid to current stocking process and distribution of goods. Additionally, the master´s thesis clarifies benefits and drawbacks of Reverse Logistics within the company. Lastly, the author recommends improvements in warehousing and a new distribution route.

The diploma thesis deals with the proposal for improvement of distribution logistics in the production company. Firstly, the theoretical background is written, which will be the basis for another part of the work which focuses on the analysis of the company's internal and external environment, SWOT analysis and distribution of Pivovary Lobkowicz Group, a.s. At the end of the thesis there are proposed changes in distribution that lead to cost reduction and distribution efficiency.

Based on the theoretical background, it carries out research and analysis of the company's activities from the logistics perspective. It examines reverse logistics activities, such as complaints and waste management, as well as conventional logistics activities from purchase to dispatch. The aim of the thesis is to suggest corrective measures that will lead to an improvement of reverse logistics in the company.
