Mokinių požiūris į papildomą ugdymą socializacijos kontekste / Pupils’ attitude towards extra – curricilar activities in socialisation context

Padegimaitė, Agnė 04 June 2012 (has links)
Darbo tikslas: išsiaiškinti mokinių požiūrį į papildomą ugdymą socializacijos kontekste. Hipotezės: 1. Merginų požiūris į papildomą ugdymą yra palankesnis nei vaikinų. 2. Vyresniųjų klasių mokinių požiūris į papildomą ugdymą yra palankesnis nei 10 klasės mokinių. Darbo uždaviniai: 1. Įvertinti mokinių požiūrį į papildomą ugdymą lyties aspektu. 2. The influence of entrepreneurial education activity on the entrepreneurial characteristics of undergraduate students of the Federal University of Santa Maria - UFSM.

Balconi, Silvana Bortoluzzi 01 June 2016 (has links)
This study aimed to analyzed the influence of entrepreneurial education activities on the entrepreneurial characteristics of undergraduate students at the Federal University of Santa Maria, Campus PM. Was conducted a qualitative and quantitative exploratory case study, based on empirical research. Informal data collection was gathered with the objective to identify which teachers, in the opinion of the students, perform different activities in the classroom. For the qualitative research, a semi-structured interview was performed with five teachers. For data analysis, was adopted the method of content analysis. From this analysis emerged methods of teaching activities, teacher-student interaction and entrepreneurial learning. For the quantitative research was applied a questionnaire developed by David McClelland (1971) which was answered by 792 undergraduate students. The internal consistency of the scales was evaluated by Cronbach s alpha coefficient, taking into account the reliability for the measurement and evaluation of the constructs. Data were analyzed using statistical tests. Regarding the results of the questionnaires, it can be stated that the intensity of entrepreneurial characteristics less present in students are taking calculated risks, persuasion and contact networks. The association of the two approaches was performed by the triangulation technique. As a result, it was found that, from the less present entrepreneurial characteristics in students, it requires reflection, in order to provide adherent practical activities to the peculiarities and the concept of these characteristics, for the moment that enhances practices aimed to develop entrepreneurial characteristics in the classroom, it is providing the student with a different way of learning. The statement that students recognize the teacher who practices different approaches in the classroom, shows that the practices that increase entrepreneurial characteristics and attitudes of students are a fact and a necessity for the learning process.

All collected data were summarized by entering inno tables and graphs. In the verification of hypotheses the data was evaluated by using basic statistical methods, the arithmetic mean, absolute frequency and relative frequency. Results: The thesis was intended to result in recommendation for coaches' education and development in the mentioned region. With reference to the research results in this thesis the recommendation will not related to impetus for only participation in the trainings. As we found out, the passing of the education and training activities themselves is not a problem. The recommendation will be predominantly related to the change of approach. Preventivně výchovná činnost v rámci Sboru dobrovolných hasičů Kašperské Hory / Preventive educational activities within Volunteer fire brigade in Kašperské Hoty

HAVLOVÁ TYMICHOVÁ, Tereza January 2018 (has links)
Knowledge of the population to ensure its own security and in areas of population protection and fire protection are the basis of a secure society. For this reason, the implementation of preventive educational activities is one of the tasks of entities active in the field of population protection and fire protection. The diploma thesis focuses on the preventive educational activity realized within individual volunteer fire brigades. Population education and prevention themselves are not, by reason of the great demands on the knowledge and abilities of members, areas that volunteer firefighters would actively pursue. The aim of the thesis is to make preventive educational activities more attractive and to facilitate their implementation, for example by organizing a entertaining educational event for the public. That could be a demonstration of the VFB itself or demonstration of other rescue teams for the public which would contribute to increasing the knowledge of the population in the areas of safety. The fulfillment of the goal of the thesis was accomplished by own realization of a fun learning day and incorporating knowledge from the organizational process, including the planning, preparation and implementation period into the methodological manual, which become a guide for members of voluntary fire brigades, how to organize a preventive educational event. This methodical guide is the main output of the work. The actual realization of the event was preceded by investigation of the legal regulations and other available documents and materials, including an analysis of the historical development of education in the field of population protection. These were then compared with my own knowledge and acquired experience within the event organization, evaluation and advices from those who are engaged in preventive educational activities.

The Botswana National Museum as an educational resource in public school classrooms

Rammapudi, Thatayamodimo Sparks 03 1900 (has links)
Museums and schools evolved as the definition of the concept of education to describe a lifelong process of developing knowledge, skills, values and attitudes that take place not only in the classroom, but also in a variety of formal and informal contexts and settings. In order to fulfil and extend the potential of the partnership, museum educators and school teachers should be assisted to develop a comprehensive understanding of the nature of the museum-school collaboration. They should learn the difference between museums and classrooms. When the Botswana National Museum was established in 1968, the Botswana government aspired to avail information relating to Botswana customs, indigenous knowledge system and values to Botswana‘s future citizens, with the hope that the information and artefacts collected at the time would retell the story of Botswana to learners and the public alike. The Botswana National Museum, through its educational programmes, has the capability to help educate learners; make teaching and learning an exciting undertaking; and provide the opportunities for hands-on activities and interaction with real objects. In order to address the research question posed for this study, the researcher conducted open-ended interviews with a sample comprising 40 participants: 10 teachers, 10 learners, 10 museum employees and 10 curriculum developers. The data collected from the interviews were decoded and presented in narrative form. The responses were presented using three identified categories: the curriculum development process in Botswana; the typical learner activities in the classroom and in the Botswana National Museum; and collaboration between the Botswana National Museum and schools. The data analysis revealed that the curriculum development process in Botswana was exclusively done by curriculum developers. Learners, teachers and museum employees were not involved. The Botswana National Museum‘s education programmes are not familiar to all role-players. All role-players were positive regarding a possible collaboration with the Botswana National Museum. Generic and specific recommendations were put forward to this end. / Educational Studies / D. Ed. (Didactics)
