An approach for code generation in the Sparse Polyhedral Framework

Strout, Michelle Mills, LaMielle, Alan, Carter, Larry, Ferrante, Jeanne, Kreaseck, Barbara, Olschanowsky, Catherine 04 1900 (has links)
Applications that manipulate sparse data structures contain memory reference patterns that are unknown at compile time due to indirect accesses such as A[B[i]]. To exploit parallelism and improve locality in such applications, prior work has developed a number of Run-Time Reordering Transformations (RTRTs). This paper presents the Sparse Polyhedral Framework (SPF) for specifying RTRTs and compositions thereof and algorithms for automatically generating efficient inspector and executor code to implement such transformations. Experimental results indicate that the performance of automatically generated inspectors and executors competes with the performance of hand-written ones when further optimization is done.

Ředitel mateřské školy v roli lídra, manažera, vykonavatele / Director of the kindergarten in the role of leader, manager, executor

Španielová, Ivana January 2012 (has links)
This thesis deals with the "trinity" of kindergarten director roles. The aim of work is treated general study supported by professional literature, legal standards, practical experience, crucial documents dealing with the level of education, research in undergraduate dissertations and thesis and requirements with a focus on the role of director of a kindergarten in leadership, management and teaching. The treated study supported by research calls for a reassessment of the existing status and re-evaluation of the various roles while maintaining synergy in their entirety, not just in relation to the threat of quality and effectiveness of each role undertaken, but also in the context of reflection on the possible standardization of kindergarten director, as is already existing abroad. The benefit of this work is part of the research that has been given to the identification of relevant knowledge about the proportion of time that kindergarten directors devote and demand for education, management and leadership and also to determine what benefits would be created by changing the distribution of proportions of time in his three roles - leader, manager and executor.

A proposal in favour of the independent executor

Cilliers, Philippus Helenus January 2019 (has links)
Freedom of testation is distinct from the right of a testator to nominate the executor of his choosing. Regulation 910 allows for the administration of deceased estates by the surviving spouse, person related by consanguinity to the deceased, or persons nominated as executor in a will. It will be purely incidental if such person has any idea how to administer an estate. Chief Master’s Directive 20 of 2015 further provides that the Master may not insist on the appointment of an agent to assist the executor where a person was nominated as such in a will, consequently leaving the estate to be administered by a layperson. The Courts have hinted towards the need for a figure such as the independent executor. An independent executor is a person who has no conflict between his own interests and his interests as an executor. Although a testator has the freedom to nominate an executor in terms of the Administration of Estates Act, such a nomination is distinct from the right to freedom of testation. If the legislator were to intervene by amending the law to only permit for independent outsiders to administer deceased estates, this will not be a limitation on the right to freedom of testation. Furthermore, an independent outsider as trustee in family trusts is a requirement. It is argued that the same should be implemented with appointing executors. The Master has enacted forms that must be lodged by trustees to determine whether a trustee is an independent outsider. Similar forms do not exist for the appointment of executors, but should be required. This dissertation works toward the recommendation that the legislator needs to intervene to permit only independent outsiders as executors. The Master must be put in a position whereby he can proactively determine whether a person is an independent outsider, rather than having to remove an executor after receiving a complaint by an aggrieved party. Such an independent executor must then be assisted by a professional person with the necessary skills and knowledge to administer an estate, thereby protecting the interests of the estate. / Mini Dissertation (LLM)--University of Pretoria, 2019. / Private Law / LLM / Unrestricted

Nařízení exekuce a pověření soudního exekutora / The writ of execution and the authorization of a licensed executor

Matušincová, Eva January 2011 (has links)
The following diploma thesis is called "The writ of execution and authorization of a licensed executor". I have chosen this theme because this execution and execution procedure is a dynamically developing part of the civil law and has been changed substantially in recent years. I deal mainly with the legislation in regards to the petition for an execution order, an execution order as well as a termination of authorization of an licensed executor to carry out the execution. The aim of the thesis is to acquaint the reader with current legislation, compare current legislation with previous legislation and identify ambiguities and issues encountered in practice. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first one is a preface and the last a conclusion. The second chapter deals with the petition for an execution order, especially requirements, defects and their remedies. Further, I pay attention to execution title and its particular types. In the end I outline the possibility of the proposed limitations on the territorial scope of an licensed executor de lege ferenda. The third chapter deals with the execution procedure and authorization of a licensed executor. I describe how the court can decide on the petition for the execution order. Separately I deal with an execution decision, its delivering,...

Inkasní agentury / Analysis on Debt Collection Effectiveness

Nosková, Veronika January 2008 (has links)
This thesis deals with performance of law protection function and a subsequent recoverability in the field of debt collection. The subject of this work is to compare debt collection effectiveness via judicial proceedings and private entities. Exercise of judicial power is one of the basic functions of the State; however, given the knowledge of the low success of the recovery procedure, it is extended to alternative methods of dispute resolution. Private executors focusing on exercising judicial power, debt collection agencies dealing primarily with extrajudicial debt collection and arbitration facilitating extrajudicial dispute resolution by means of independent arbitrators all provide other means of law enforcement. This work focuses on and analysis of the above mentioned systems and comparison of their effectiveness with regard to their efficiency and success when attempting to protect creditors' rights. The aim of the mentioned comparison is to prove a debt collection efficiency increase caused by an entry of private entities into the market (alternative ways of dispute resolution).

Caracterização das empresas executoras de serviços de obras baseada nos seus ativos estratégicos. / Characterization of trade executors based in their strategic assets.

Oviedo Haito, Ricardo Juan José 01 February 2010 (has links)
This research studied the performance of an important agent in the construction industry, which are the trade executors (EES), usually called subcontractors (SE) and specialty contractors (EEE). Although there are several studies related to the study of their characteristics, little information exists about how EES are organized. In this sense, an analytical framework was developed to analyze the possessed ESS capabilities to deliver their results within the competition bounds. For this, the root causes of the closure activities and market leadership have been studied from the perspective of several lines of marketing related to call service logic and to sustainable competitive advantage (VCS). This framework used the concept of service value delivered by EES from their sources of VCS. These sources are discussed in terms of assets that have EES. Such assets consist of tangible assets (such as products, tools, materials, etc.) and intangible (such as management systems and operational systems) that allow them to develop a strategy to create sustainable value, also called strategic assets. The research method was \'grounded theory\', interviewing 6 representatives of their contractors, an expert consultant on business management, and 24 ESS of 11 different technical specialties. The interviews took place in conjunction with the literature review and analysis of results. The use of this method allowed us to distinguish the EEE, a subset of EES, depending on their possession of skills and access to resources to produce their service. Finally, it is expected that the approach developed in this research is used to better understand the capabilities that EES have within their competition, providing the basis for future research on how to improve the capacity and the competition of these firms.
