Previous issue date: 2018-08-07 / O presente estudo tem por objetivo contribuir para o debate e análise crítica acerca das relações de trabalho, principalmente no âmbito do setor público, buscando apresentar a relação entre a redução da jornada de trabalho, exercício do tempo livre e condições de vida e de trabalho dos servidores da UFJF. Para isso, foram entrevistados sete trabalhadores técnico-administrativos em educação, dentre eles um representante sindical, a fim de analisar as percepções desses trabalhadores acerca do processo de regulamentação da jornada de trabalho reduzida, e sua repercussão em suas atividades de trabalho e em sua vida fora do trabalho. Os entrevistados foram unânimes em afirmar a jornada de trabalho de seis horas diárias como um fator importante no equilíbrio entre tempo de trabalho e tempo livre: pela ótica do trabalho na UFJF, a importância da ampliação do horário de funcionamento dos setores para atendimento aos usuários; para os servidores, a possibilidade de dedicação do tempo livre a atividades consideradas prazerosas, como viagens e passeios em família, e também na busca por informação e conhecimento. / This study aims to contribute to the debate and critical analysis about labor relations, especially in the public sector, seeking to present the relationship between the reduction of working hours, the exercise of free time, living and working conditions of the workers servers of the UFJF. To that end, seven technical-administrative workers in education were interviewed, among them a union representative, in order to analyze the perceptions of these workers about the process of regulation of the reduced working day, and the repercussion in their work activities and in their life off work. Interviewees were unanimous in affirming the six-hour workday as an important factor in the balance between working time and free time: from the perspective of work in the UFJF, the importance of expanding the hours of operation of the sectors to serve users; for the servers, the possibility of dedicating free time to activities considered pleasurable, such as trips and family outings, as well as the search for information and knowledge.

This diploma thesis describes the design of an information system for Klub JUNIOR -- centre of children's free time activities operating in the suburb of Pra-gue 4. The main objective is to design and analyse options of the acquisition and implementation of information system in this organisation that does not use any IS yet. Thanks to the launch of the IS the organisation should be able to digitise, centralise, manage and archive all information and documents and generally to get more effective in its operation. These things can be described as secondary objectives of this thesis and its potential contributions. Also the selected method of acquisition of the IS gives instructions on how to solve this problem in similar non-profit organisations, which is another contribution of this thesis.

Obnova československého woodcrafterského hnutí po roce 1989 / Restoration of the Czechoslovak woodcraft movement after 1989Faů, Roman January 2018 (has links)
This master thesis maps out events and processes which are connected with the resurgence of the Woodcraft league of Czechoslovakia after the fall of communism in Czechoslovakia in 1989. It deals with woodcraft community and affiliated groups that intensified their activities during the last years of the period of normalization in Czechoslovakia. After the Velvet revolution, these groups and individuals represented basis for the resurgence of the Woodcraft league. Furthermore, this paper describes concrete steps connected with this resurgence, introduces prominent actors of this process and tries to explain their major steps. It does not omit controversial events, neither ideological cleavages linked to the resurgence of the organisation, which was gagged more than 40 years. Finally, this final thesis puts the focus on the evolution of the organisation during its first modern period when it has succeeded in establishing itself within the Czechoslovakian society marked by a newly gathered freedom, an uncritical euphoria and by the subsequent return to reality. The information for this study was collected using the method of oral history, more specifically through interviews with prominent actors of these events. Diploma thesis from sociology of sport maps the basic socio-demographic characteristics of czech runners, with the emphasis on runners between the ages of 30 - 50, which form the most significant part of running segment. Aside from these characteristics it also deals with running habits, preferences, favourite locations for running, motivations and aspirations regarding not only new race events but also its evolving running equipments and last but not least the increase of informal running groups - light communities. The vital part is closer look on history of sociology in regards to sport in the Czech republic, and also as a part of world sociological tradition. It shows that even traditional sociological theories can be applied when some processes in society are scientifically studied. In methodological part the concept of free time is used, as well as a new look on alternative tourism - travelling for running events. As a part of second running wave the concept of light communities is examined, too. Volunteering is an important subject in today's society. The society as well as the volunteers themselves profit from volunteering. This thesis handles the topic of young people and volunteering. It deals with the opinion of young people about volunteering as well as with the motivations and barriers young people have in connection to volunteering. There has been a qualitative research conducted within this thesis. The method of focus group was used for it. Young people between 16 and 19 years were the target group of the research. Besides motivation and barriers it focused as well on the channels through which people get information about volunteering. There are recommendations concerning the promotion of volunteering between young people in the final part of the thesis. Those conclusions are aimed mainly for the European Year of Volunteering 2011.

Diploma thesis "Free Time Activities of Adults with Mental Disability in Prague - the Possibility of Support in the Planning and Implementation" was written with the general objective to point out this issue in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is aimed at introduction into areas, which are closely related with this issue. It deals with free time in general, characteristics of mental retardation and the adulthood of a person with intellectual disability. The final chapter, which deals specifically with leisure of people with intellectual disabilities, is based primarily on foreign studies and experience. The practical part consists of two investigations. The first was focused on finding organizations providing support to people with intellectual disabilities in leisure time and on precise determination of their activities (through interviews). A directory has been created with a list of offered individual support and group activities. In the second 18 interviews were conducted with adults with intellectual disability living in the current environment to determine how they think of their free time. The aim of this thesis is to clarify the principles of shaping the identity and image in the modern consumer society and explain the role of media in this process as well. In this thesis is used analytical comparative method. The whole work is divided into the theoretical and analytical part. The central theme of the first charter is the description of the characteristics of a modern consumer society. The second main thopic is the relationship of identity and image. In the third theoretical chapter is discussed the issue of media construction of reality. These problems are projected in the three approaches of opinion - Gilles Lipovetsky, the represenatatives of the Frakfurts School and Jean Baudrillard and finally opinion of Pierre Bourdieu. The analytical part of the thesis is concentrated on the application of the theoretical knowledge. As a specific example was selected advertising campaign Think You Can Text and Drive?, which was developed under the auspices of Oprah Winfrey, celebrity with the global reach. In the analytical part were received some essential arguments, which are summarized in the final chapter.
