This work is part of the national debate on the current education policy (in time) full, more specifically, the More Education Program implemented since 2007 by the government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. With the objective to identify and delineate the concepts of comprehensive education and youth from the critical analysis of the official discourse and the discourse of its agents involved, this research constituted a literature review directed the composition of theoretical categories: Public Policy, Youth and Integral Education, which they have been worked by authors linked to a historical and critical perspective. The methodology we relied on an integrated approach to qualitative method of Critical Discourse Analysis (FAIRCLOUGH, 2001), and data collection involved semi-structured interviews with the executing agents of integral education, belonging to public schools in the municipality of Ipojuca (PE) and young inserted in it. Besides the interviews, field work involved data collection through the use of focus group technique with a group of six young as well as the examination of documents collected in the Department of Municipal Education and the Ministry of Education. Data analysis came indicating that the More Education Program is part of a set of programs that conceives youth policy as sectoral social policies directed to certain realities and "types" of young people considered in a situation of risk and social vulnerability. The discourse that takes youth as a social group full of profiles and diversified juvenile traits there was no evidence as hegemonic discourse present in contexts of production, distribution and consumption of that policy. The contradictions within the speech on youth conception expressed an attempt to balance the young provided subjects with problems, being vulnerable socio-biologically with another speech that invites teachers to understand this social group as agents of their own history, that It is, can no longer be considered as a homogeneous age group. Similarly, the concept of comprehensive education this it bore contradictions when it came giving new meaning to the liberal New School in the context of neoliberal policies reflected in the expansion process of school functions, in public-private partnerships, including educational territories beyond space school, among others. The young people involved have expressed the difficulties and benefits of SMEs leading us to indicate a reorientation of the policy with development actions toward a collective pedagogical work with young people and not just for them.

In 2012, a new project of the Department of Education, now called Integral Education Program - Full Time School is implemented, with new guidelines and also incorporating the high school. This research aims to understand teachers’ concept of integral education and how school work was affected by this change. Our central problem work can be broken down into two questions: how teachers understand the objectives, procedures, concepts and guidelines of Integral Education Program - Full Time School and what changes occurred (or not) in the pedagogical work of these teachers. Primary research sources were constituted of official documents that support the program and five interviews with teachers, two of whom are also full-time school coordinators. The objective was to obtain data on teachers’ training, their understanding of comprehensive education and their analysis of the educational work process after joining the program. Given the results of this research, we can say that the interviewed teachers follow the debate on comprehensive education, they observed considerable changes in pedagogical work in full-time schools and consider the project relevant for students. The purpose of this study was to understand the project of integral education (human education) for students with disabilities and/or special needs in full-time school, more precisely at the EMEI Monteiro Lobato, in the city of Aparecida de Goiânia - GO. In this sense, it sought to identify what legal and pedagogical policy frameworks, which guide work in full-time educational institutions affirm with respect to Special Education in an Inclusive perspective; It understands how school time has been organized for the performance of specialized educational services, since the activities of the Specialized Educational Assistance (AEE) and the curricular activities of the full-time school take place in the counter-shift, conceiving that it is a function Of the school to socialize the knowledge historically accumulated to all. To apprehend the meanings and meanings of teachers about being a teacher in full - time schools for the targeted public education students. When mapping, in the thesis bank of CAPES, we understand that there are few studies in the state of Goiás that address this theme, which indicated the need to broaden the discussions about the teaching - learning of these students in this context of the full - time school. Taking as a guideline the method in Marx, this investigation is configured as a bibliographical - documentary and field, whose procedure for data collection was the semistructured interview recorded in audio with teachers of EMEI Monteiro Lobato, in order to apprehend the senses and meanings Teachers' about these issues, as well as observation, which allowed us to capture in more detail the school context and its various connections. The analyzes of the data obtained were based on the theoretical - philosophical assumptions of Historical - Critical Pedagogy (SAVIANI, 2013) and Historical - Cultural Psychology (VYGOTSKI, 1997). The results obtained from this research revealed a assistance project to people with disabilities and / or special needs that overlaps the pedagogic. Due to the precarious working conditions, with professional training due to the negligence of the target audience of special education, reinforcing the phenomenon of excluding inclusion and/or alienated inclusion.

The study object is the extended school time policy in the Full Time Schools (EMTI) of the Municipal Secretary of Education of Goiânia (SME). The general objective is to investigate the effectiveness of this policy by the analysis of the financial, administrative and pedagogical capacity of the educational system to guarantee the material and human conditions for the quality of the teaching and learning process in Full Time Schools. This is a case study carried out with the first five (05) schools that implemented the EMTI in the Municipal Education System in 2015. The procedures used in this research were documental, bibliographic and field research. The main analyses consisted on the following areas: the financing, the school infrastructure, the development of the teaching process and the school management conditions. Based on quantitative and qualitative and objective and subjective data, the investigation is epistemologically supported by the studies of Amaral (2012), Brasil (2006, 2009a, 2010a, 2010b), Carreira and Pinto (2007), Dourado, Santos and Oliveira (2007), Dourado and Oliveira (2009), Fineduca (2013) Oliveira and Araújo (2005), Oliveira (2007), Pinto (2014, 2015), Souza, Gouveia and Scheneider (2011), Scheneider (2012) and Barra et al. (2015). In the development of the exhibition registers, through data and analysis, in municipal policy falls within the set of policies for basic education in Brazil implemented over the last two decades with centrality in the expansion of the school day in order to ensure improvement in student academic performance and, at the same time, offer a full-time care for children in situations of social vulnerability. It is stated as a thesis that material and human conditions, objective and subjective, municipal policy implementation in the five in outline stresses and contradictions present in municipal law, in speeches and in everyday school officials who, in turn, show limits, challenges and possibilities for the effectiveness of the proposal on RME de Goiânia as State public policy.

This dissertation was developed under the Professional Master's Program of the Graduate Program in Management and Evaluation of Public Education (PPGP), the Center for Public Policies and Education Evaluation of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (CAEd / UFJF). The management case to be studied discussed the difficulties in implementing the Integral Education Project, in a school in the city of Ribeirão das Neves / MG. Faced with this, the guiding question of this case study is: "What are the challenges for the implementation of the Integral Education Project at the Pedro Bandeira State School?". The hypothesis defended here is that the difficulties of implementing the Integral Education Project experienced by the Pedro Bandeira State School are related to problems in the organization of the Project and its implementation, more specifically in the transfer of financial resources, by the Government Federal. In addition, the difficulties are also related to the lack of school management planning that is capable of dealing with these difficulties, such as the absence of an exclusive pedagogical supervisor for Integral Education classes and the lack of capacity of teachers to minister the workshops planned by the project. In an attempt to answer this question, the general objective of this study is based on the description, analysis and proposition of actions for the problems presented in the implementation of the Integral Education Project at the Pedro Bandeira State School. The specific objectives defined were: i) to describe the Integral Education Project at the Pedro Bandeira State School; ii) analyze the problems that are making it difficult to implement the actions of the Integral Education project in this school; and iii) propose actions that lead the school analyzed to minimize the problems in the implementation of the Integral Education Project. For that, we used, as methodology, the qualitative research, and as instruments the interview with the actors involved with the initiative. The analysis relied on the theoretical basis of authors such as: Moll (2012), which analyzes the right to other times and educational spaces; Luck (2009; 2010), reflecting on the challenges of leadership in schools; Ball (2001), with analyzes on public policies; and Mainardes (2006) and Cósio (2010), with the approach of the cycles of Policies. Still, Silva (2013), which addresses the role of Integral Education; Felix (2012), Pimenta (1991), Rangel and Ferreira (2008) and Muribeca (2002), authors who approach vocational training; Draibe (2001), with reflections on training; and Vieira (2002), reflecting on the work with the workshops. We found that the analysis of this study allowed us to elaborate an Educational Action Plan that seeks to minimize the problems encountered in the implementation of the Integral Education Project at the Pedro Bandeira State School.

OUTSOURCING IT PRACOVNÍKŮ NA ČESKÉM TRHU PRÁCE V ROCE 2015 / OUTSOURCING OF IT WORKERS IN CZECH LABOUR MARKET IN 2015

Obořilová, Veronika January 2016 (has links)
This thesis focuses on current very important and widespread IT sector on the Czech labor market and discusses the frequent solutions to the problems of IT workers employment: outsourcing. The theoretical part of this work solves development and overall approach to outsourcing. The practical part includes the legal framework of outsourcing in the Czech Republic. Given is the definition of the ICT sector, including individual sub-branches of the IT sector with their individual specifications and performance of EI-PRAGUE, s.r.o. whose database of IT specialists, together with data of Czech Statistical Office it is also used for actual calculations. These calculations help to dismantle the advantages and disadvantages of outsourcing, both from the perspective of a worker employed on main job or self-employed, but also from the perspective of the IT specialists provider, state and health insurers. Carried comparisons have conflicting results. From the perspective of the worker is in almost all respects advantageous to work as self-employed, while in terms of state income and health insurers is more suitable if the workers are in an employment relationship at main job.

No. of bitstreams: 1 Raimundo Nonato De Carvalho Junior.pdf: 3626400 bytes, checksum: 64744d4db0c7ea8de113ae792d791245 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2016-04-29 / In 2013, the Municipal Secretary of Education of Barueri announced that 4 schools from its school system joined the federal government educational program Mais Educação. This research aims to understand these schools teachers concept of integral education. Our central inquiry can be broken down into two questions: how teachers understand the objectives, procedures, concepts and guidelines of Mais Educação Program and what changes occurred (or not) in the pedagogical work of these teachers. Primary research sources were constituted of the official documents that support the Mais Educação Program and 5 questionnaires answered by full-time schools teachers in the city of Barueri. The purpose of the questionnaires was to obtain data on teachers’ training, their understanding of comprehensive education and their analysis of the educational work process after joining the Mais Educação Program. In the face of the findings in this research, it is possible to state that there is little understanding of the debate on comprehensive education among teachers; they do not observe significant changes in educational work related to joining Mais Educação Program; and that full-time schools in Barueri are seen as children and adolescents occupancy and restraining environments. Those spaces are no longer educational, they became only of protection and guard and compensation for the exclusion suffered by the working class.

An Exploratory Study Of The Strengths Of Islamic School Principals In California, Texas, New York, Florida, And Illinois

Qadri, Syed Kamran 01 January 2014 (has links)
As the focal point of the school, the principal’s leadership is integral to its effective functioning. This study used a self-assessment to analyze the self-identified strengths of principals in Islamic schools within the five most populated states in the United States (which also have the largest number of mosques) and the commonalities in those strengths based on (a) the enrollment of the school; (b) year school was established; (c) the gender of the principal; (d) the principal’s professional preparation, e.g., degree in education vs. other fields and years of experience; and (e) geographic location. While only a small amount of statistical significance was evident (p < .05) in exploring the differences between groups, several conclusions were made. In analyzing the strengths of the principals, the least selected strength was Significance and the most was Analytical, which had the highest proportion of affirmatively responding principals as compared to any of the other strengths. Additionally, the relationship between principal strength and school enrollment resulted in for the strengths of Command and Developer at a significance level that was less stringent than the p = .002 dictated by the study; principals at schools that have a student enrollment of 151-200 ranked Command higher as compared to principals in schools of other sizes, whereas those with an enrollment of 150 or fewer students ranked Developer as a more preferred strength. In addressing principal strengths and gender, the results showcased males ranking Self-assuredness as their preferred trait more frequently than their female counterparts, who preferred Futuristic. Furthermore, the relationship of principal strengths and area of education resulted in the strengths of Activator, Maximizer, and Positivity as being iv ranked higher for principals who had a degree in education at the p = .05 level. The strengths of Empathy, Harmony, and Responsibility (p < .05) and Deliberative (p < .01) were ranked higher by principals who did not have a degree in education. Also, based on the average rankings of principal strengths, Achiever indicated the strongest association for principals with a degree in education and Deliberative for principals who did not. The results of the mean ranking of the strengths among principals of differing years of experience resulted in the ranking of Focus and Includer at higher levels for principals with 3-6 years of experience (p < .01). Furthermore, the average rankings showcased the strength of Achiever as the most strongly rated for principals with less than 3 years of experience, Focus for principals with 3-6 years of experience, and Analytical for principals with more than 6 years. Examination of principal strengths based on geographic location was conducted descriptively due to small group sizes. Among the five states of focus, average rankings of strengths indicated that Deliberative was the most preferred among California principals, Includer among Florida principals, Activator among Illinois respondents, Command among New York principals, and Analytical in Texas.
