Aukštos kvalifikacijos specialistų rengimas ir darbo rinkos poreikiai: problemos ir sprendimo būdai / Preparation of high qualified specialists and needs of the labor market: problems and solutions

Vykstant ekonominiams pokyčiams šalyje, vienu iš prioritetinių švietimo sistemos tikslų tampa aukštos kvalifikacijos specialisto rengimas, orientuotas į darbo rinkos poreikius. Šalies aukštosiose mokyklose specialistų rengimas nepakankamai siejamas su jų poreikiu darbo rinkoje ir galimybėmis baigus studijas gauti darbą, atitinkantį absolventų įgytą kvalifikaciją. Magistriniame darbe pagrindinis dėmesys skiriamas aukštos kvalifikacijos specialistų prognozavimui bei realaus specialistų poreikio nustatymui. Todėl būtina numatyti aukštos kvalifikacijos specialistų poreikio prognozes, užimtumo bei įsitvirtinimo darbo rinkoje galimybes, tenkinant besiplėtojančios ekonomikos poreikius. Šiame darbe išanalizuotas aukštos kvalifikacijos specialistų rengimas šalies aukštosiose mokyklose. Ištirtas aukštos kvalifikacijos specialistų pasiūlos atitikimas darbo rinkos poreikiams. Atskleistos pagrindinės priežastys, trukdančios aukštųjų mokyklų absolventams įsitvirtinti darbo rinkoje. Atliktas aukštos kvalifikacijos specialistų poreikio empirinis tyrimas, atsižvelgiant į verslo subjektų interesus. Darbo tikslas - Ištirti aukštos kvalifikacijos specialistų rengimą ir jų atitikimą darbo rinkos poreikiams. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / During the economic changes in the country, one of the priority objectives of the education system becomes a highly qualified professional development geared to the needs of the labor market. Country's higher education professionals are lack of trainings, linked to their labor market needs and opportunities after graduation to obtain employment-graduate qualification. This master thesis focuses on the high-skilled professionals, and forecasting systems in the real demand for specialists setting. It is therefore necessary to provide highly skilled professionals demand forecasts of employment and stay in the labor market opportunities for meeting the evolving needs of the economy. In this paper the preparation of highly qualified specialists in the country's higher education institutions are analyzed. The preparation of high qualified specialist in country’s high schools is analyzed in this paper. The main reasons hindering the high school graduates in the labor market are revealed. An empirical study of business entities' interests of highly skilled professionals need was made. Faculty and Student Perceptions of Reading and Language Arts Preparation and Preparedness for the State Subject Area Test

Since changes to the reading/language arts State Subject Area Test (SSAT) in late 2010, elementary education teacher candidates at a teacher training college in the Southern United States have experienced declining scores resulting in test failure and delaying student teaching and graduation. The purpose of this case study was to identify factors that students and faculty perceived as most beneficial in preparing students to pass the SSAT. Constructivism served as the conceptual framework for this study addressing the effects of collaboration, hands-on learning, and application of knowledge. Purposeful sampling was used to recruit 6 elementary education students who had taken the SSAT and 4 full-time reading and language arts faculty members who participated in semistructured interviews. Analysis of coded data indicated themes of preference for experiential learning, intensive strategy instruction, and a review of tested content. Based on study findings, a 3-day professional development training was created to provide students a review of tested subject matter through embedded strategy instruction and opportunities for hands-on application of learning. Implications for positive social change include preparing students to pass the SSAT in fewer attempts so they can graduate on schedule and begin their careers. Local communities may benefit from the addition of highly qualified teachers ready to enter elementary classrooms across the state during a critical teacher shortage.

Retention and recruitment of research -based highly qualified teachers in suburban, urban, and rural secondary mathematics departments across northern California

Title II of the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) is intended to increase student academic achievement through strategies such as improving teacher quality and increasing the number of "highly qualified teachers" (HQTs) in the classroom. This Federal policy relies on educational research that demonstrates a connection between student achievement and teacher quality. Although NCLB considers each route that teachers may take to meet HQT requirements as equivalent, research demonstrates that some routes may foster higher student achievement than others; those teachers, who met HQT requirements through these routes, are referred to in this study as "research-based HQTs" (RB-HQTs). The quantitative phase of this mixed methodology explores how northern California secondary mathematics teachers in suburban, urban, and rural schools meet "highly qualified teacher" requirements. The subsequent qualitative phase explores the challenges and promising practices in retention and recruitment of RB-HQTs used by those mathematics departments identified as having a "common" or "distinguished" profile of each respective suburban, urban, or rural sub-sample. This study identifies and reports eight strategies used by mathematics departments that have demonstrated success in retention and recruitment of RB-HQTs. The eight identified strategies, when implemented individually or collectively, may increase the proportion of RB-HQTs and improve student academic achievement in each mathematics department across northern California secondary schools, be it suburban, urban, or rural.

Изучая курсы, связанные с человеческими ресурсами, автор выбрал подходящую компанию, чтобы проанализировать проблемы в системе обучения компании и предложить соответствующие предложения по улучшению. X Company — это компания-посредник в сфере недвижимости, имеющая опыт работы на государственных предприятиях и обладающая богатыми социальными ресурсами, но ее доля на рынке относительно невелика. Существует значительный разрыв между текущей ситуацией и стратегическими целями, и компании необходимо срочно повысить свою основную конкурентоспособность, чтобы адаптироваться к потребностям стратегических открытий. X Company is a real estate intermediary company with a background in state-owned enterprises, with abundant social resources, but its market share is relatively small. According to the company's five-year development strategic plan, we aim to become the most competitive real estate agency in South China and plan to achieve an overall listing within 5 years. There is a significant gap between the current situation and strategic goals, and the company urgently needs to enhance its core competitiveness to adapt to the needs of strategic discovery. Integrating various resources to enhance core competitiveness, the most important is human resources. Therefore, the development and cultivation of talents is particularly important. However, X Company's training is in its early stages and the training system is not sound, with many problems. New Teacher Recruitment, Hiring, and Retention Strategies for the Canton Public School District

This investigation focused on identifying model foundational strategies to assist Canton Public School District (CPSD) officials in recruiting new teachers, successfully hiring them, and then retaining them the district. Located within the boundaries of the city of Canton, Mississippi, CSPD is geographically located in the central portion of the state. The district consists of 1 high school, 2 middle schools, 4 elementary schools and Canton Education Services Center. CSPD is continually affected by an ever-increasing teacher shortage because new teachers tend to leave the district after they are hired. More than 50% of new teachers leave their teaching positions in the district’s schools within 5 years. The investigation utilized published literature and other archival data (e.g., scholarly papers presented at conferences) accessible to the public in the form of books, chapters in published books, journal articles, and scholarly papers presented at learned societies and associations. Two research questions guided the investigation. The first research question asked: What does the published literature and related archival data (e.g., available scholarly papers retrievable from sources such as colleges, universities, foundations, conferences, etc.) accessible to the public reveal about recruiting, hiring, and retaining teachers? Overall, the material collected and analyzed yielded abundant information. Much of the available information proved valuable because the material focused attention the “how-to-do-it” aspects of recruiting, hiring, and retaining quality new teachers. The second research question asked: Will information gleamed from an analysis of the published literature and other archival data (e.g., unpublished scholarly papers) lead to the development of foundational strategies for assisting school district officials in recruiting, hiring, and retaining new teachers for CPSD? It was possible to develop a model holding potential for improving teacher recruitment, hiring, and retention at CPSD. The model that was developed features seven foundational strategies that if implemented, hold potential for improving teacher recruitment, hiring, and retention at CPSD. The seven strategies are: (1) identify the vacancy and write the job description, (2) announce and advertise the teacher vacancy, (3) develop a customized application form, (4) paper screening process, (5) interviewing process, (6) salary and benefit package, and (7) induction and mentoring.
