Modelo metodológico de construção de indicadores de uso de TIC para gestão da produção de planos de ensino / Methodological model of the construction ICT use indicators to manage education plans\' production

Walter de Oliveira Paulo 26 September 2016 (has links)
This work is about a methodological model developed in order to investigate a course of specialization in science education (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) for in-service teachers of the State of São Paulo. The course was offered by the state government through the REDEFOR program in the Faculty of Education, University of São Paulo. We tested the model building indicators for a sample of 400 education plans produced during the course by 246 teachers. From the reading and interpretation of the plans selected in the sample and the answers to surveys applied throughout the course, we investigated the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in proposing educational activities. To automate the process, the model incorporated three computer programs: NVIVO, EXCEL and SPSS which strengthened it, by combining with techniques of qualitative and quantitative analysis. Several statistical tests could be used in analysis with built indicators, among these, the multiple regression in which the indicators behaved as predictor variables (independents) and the indicators of educational plans as dependent variables. With the surveys we build two indicators: Formation (indFOR) and Daily Life and Work (indVDT) for both before and during the course. We compared each of these indicators with ICT use indicators of educational plans: Quantity (indQTIC) and Variety (indVTIC). In the analysis of multiple regression, the results showed that only the indVDT-before indicators and the indVDT-during statistically had significant differences in their average for the amount and the variety of ICT use. The association of the two indicators of Daily Life and Work with each indicator of educational plans was weak around 0.25, ie about 5% of the variance in the amount or variety of ICT use could be explained by the set of indicators. We deepen the research indTICenqVDTd via Cluster analysis to identify statistically significant groups in this variable together with the amount of ICT use indicators and variety and the indicator of official notes of SD. We found two groups, the first (group 1) held the best results (on average) in all indicators. The second group (group 2) showed the worst results (on average) of all indicators included in the cluster analysis. The combination of responses to polls items with the quantity and variety of ICT use found in SD and performance expressed by the official notes of SD, led us to conclude that when the teacher knows ICT and use it for your act of planning, syllabus quality tends to improve, and this may, as a consequence, bring improvements to the quality of their classes. The methodological model we have developed is versatile, considered as the main contribution of this work to the area of Education. For it, other resources used in classes as experimental activities, songs, poetry, comics, cooking recipes etc. They could be measured and investigated.

O ciclo de desenvolvimento do professor e o sistema de atividade aprendizagem on-line em um curso de especialização em ensino de ciências / The development cycle of the teacher and the learning system activity online in a specialization course in science teaching

Belmayr Knopki Nery 06 June 2014 (has links)
The training of science teachers in the distance modality is becoming an option for government managers in the development of training programs in Brazil and abroad. However, the problems involved in implementing such programs are complex and take some organization issues as the contexts in which they are realized in the form of coordinated actions between subjects in collective activity structures that constitute these processes. A promising theoretical approach to study these programs is the Activity Systems Theory (ENGESTRÖM, MIETTINEN e PUNAMÄKI, 1999). In the scope of this theory, one has investigated the course of Specialization in Science Teaching, offered in the distance modality for in-service purposes that has been organized by the University of São Paulo in partnership with the Department of Education of the State of São Paulo, under the REDEFOR PROGRAM. Among one set of activity systems, in which hundreds of subjects have been acted with specific objects of activity, one has selected the Activity System related to the learning of the teacher in training to investigate her/his developmental cycle. The expansive cycle of development has been defined as the analytical tool, one theoretical construct principles of the fifth principle of AST. In order to determine the scale of the expansive learning cycle, one has designated three learning mediocycles, Production of Teaching Learning Sequences, Participation in the Forum and Elaboration of End-of-study Masterpiece, which hypothetically have constituted the learning macrocycle. Based on qualitative and quantitative criteria, one has selected a teacher in training and his/her expansive cycle of development has been investigated in terms of microgenetic analysis. The results indicated that this teacher in training has consciously experienced the three expansive mediocycles, he/she has autonomously interacted and he/she has demonstrated a meaningfull and qualitative evolution in each of them, in other words, he/she has developed as a subject from the learning in the Course. Also, the results have showed that the organization of in-service teacher training courses in the distance modality might be arranged taking into account the principles of the Activity System Theory.

Autoevaluace střední školy z aspektu dalšího vzdělávání zaměstnanců / Secondary School Self-Evaluation in Terms of In-Service Training for Employees

Dejová, Nelly January 2020 (has links)
The diploma thesis comprehensively introduces the issue of in-service training of pedagogical staff with a focus on secondary school teachers as one of the areas of school self-evaluation. In-service teacher training comes to the fore as it goes hand in hand with the quality of training. In its first part, it identifies the basic definitions needed to understand the topic of school self- evaliation and in-service teacher training, then it defines the legislative framework ensuring in- service teacher training, strategic documents and other plans. Last but not least, it defines the objectives and forms of in-service teacher training and briefly outlines the situation in Europe with a focus on international surveys. Using content analysis, the thesis evaluates three annual reports of the selected secondary school. Furthermore, standardized structured interview was held with the school management and also a standardized questionnaire is distributed among pedagogical staff of the selected secondary school. Based on the obtained data, the thesis monitors the views of school management and teachers on this very issue including their motivation, conditions for development, possibilities for in-service training or the process of putting the acquired knowledge. into practice in the context of the results of...

Příprava studentů primární pedagogiky ke konstruktivistickému pojetí učiva a vyučování o společnosti / Preparing student teachers for constructivist teaching about society in primary grades

Dvořáková, Michaela January 2012 (has links)
Preparing student teachers for constructivist teaching about society in primary grades Michaela Dvořáková Abstract The content of primary social studies could be described as cultural universals - domains of human existence that form part of everybody's experience. Despite that, children do need a skilled instruction helping them to elaborate these topics. We suppose that for the constructivist teachers, deep content knowledge and pedagogic content knowledge is necessary to elaborate and conceptualize children's experiences. In this thesis, we wanted to learn more about the knowledge base of pre-service teachers. To explore the education students' content knowledge and pedagogical content knowledge of social studies topics, we elicited students' concepts related to the topic of family using concept mapping. Then we performed the content analysis of the obtained concepts. We tried to determine whether pre-service teachers rely on their prior knowledge (including misconceptions) of family or whether they use the knowledge gained in social science classes at the high school or at our university. Students do not use their academic knowledge gained in social studies classes spontaneously, but they are able to do when prompted. An important part of pedagogical content knowledge of a social studies teacher are the...

Education, daily routine, and prospects of primary school teachers in Haiti

Thiel, Gertrud 07 January 2009 (has links)
This study offers a detailed description of selected Haitian primary school teachers’ living and working conditions based on narrative interviews, observations, and common experiences during a cross-cultural in-service teacher training program in rural Haiti. The research is focused on the following questions: What type of obstacles did primary school teachers in rural Haiti encounter in their own education, what professional and social challenges are faced in the daily routines of these teachers, and how can a thorough knowledge of both their backgrounds and the conditions of their current lives help to improve the quality of their teaching as well as their prospects for socio-economic advancement? The reality of these teachers is characterized by a delayed and limited education, low remuneration and challenging working conditions, as well as a more or less complete lack of state support. Nevertheless, they demonstrate vitality and trust in a better future. Central to this study are the Haitian teachers’ viewpoints, but the process of cross-cultural communication and reflection going on during such a program and research is documented as well.

Le développement professionnel des enseignants expérimentés par la transmission explicite de pratiques entre pairs / Professional development of experienced teachers through the explicit transmission of practices between peers

Talérien, Jean Stéphane 16 November 2018 (has links)
The international scientific literature shows the reality of teachers' informal learning in the workplace, within schools. However, these learnings have several limitations and are of lower quality than those that are carried out in an organized environment. The purpose of this research is precisely the professional development of experienced teachers through a professional development program that considers their informal learning. This study is part of an anthropocultural research program (Bertone, 2011; Chaliès, 2012) whose main theoretical assumptions are borrowed from the philosophy of ordinary language (Wittgenstein, 2004). It was conducted within the framework of two innovative training devices allowing an experienced teacher (the peer trainer) to ostensibly teach one of his specific practices considered effective to an experienced peer teacher (the trained peer). The main research results show the modelling of the professional activity of peer trainers and thus contribute to documenting international research on informal learning by primary school teachers. They also show the learning of new professional practices from trained peers understood as the acquisition of new rule systems. Finally, the results show the professional development of the trained peers understood as the interpretation of the rules learned in new circumstances as well as the reflexive development of the professional activity of the trained peers.

No. of bitstreams: 1 PED - Julio Ribeiro Soares.pdf: 929846 bytes, checksum: fc7bcccbd8187b6f5583351fdde3ec0b (MD5) Previous issue date: 2006-11-03 / Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico / Nowadays, the topic of teacher training has played a major role in the research scenario of human sciences, namely Pedagogy and Educacional Psychology. At the same time, however, despite the fact that the understanding of some questions concerning this issue has improved significantly, there has been little research focusing more specifically on training in-service teachers. Thus, based on the issues raised above, the aim of this study is to aprehend and analyse meanings produced by teachers as regards their in-service academic training. The present analysis involves qualitative research, whose theoretical and methodological reference background was that of Sociohistorical Psychology. The study was carried out with only one subject, who teaches at the Elementary Level and was a former student of an academic in-service training course. Data were obtained from this subject by means of recurring interviews. The analysis of the data was conducted as from a proposal made by the Signification Nuclei. From the interviews, five signification nuclei were systematised as a means of approximation to the zones of meanings which shape the subject of the research in the process of her academic training. The signification nuclei are as follows: the teaching pedagogical action as a vital human activity; the pedagogical posture of the teaching trainers; the relationship between theory and pratice in the process of academic training; the affective mediation involved in being a teacher; overcoming of difficulties during the academic training period. As to the final considerations, an aspect to be highlighted is how the subject went through the process of her academic training, which not only seems to be commmitted to building up a new teacher but also a new person in her relation to the world.

Formação continuada de professores na rede municipal de São Bernardo do Campo: experiências no contexto de duas pré-escolas / In service teachers formation at the municipal education system of São Bernardo do Campo: experiences in the context of two preschools

Borges, Maíla Aparecida Ferreira 25 March 2015 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2016-04-27T14:31:34Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 1 Maila Aparecida Ferreira Borges.pdf: 1499351 bytes, checksum: dc9f89142bbf1b1411106c55ed2ebf70 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2015-03-25 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / This Dissertation analyzes the in service training process of early childhood education teachers, developed in the context of two public preschools at the municipality of São Bernardo do Campo, state of São Paulo. The research includes two dimensions: the first one focus the municipal system, exploring the structure set for the in service training programs; and the second one examines this process at two municipal preschools. The research followed a qualitative methodology; it collected and analysed the municipal legal and orientation documents and the written records about the training practices developed by the schools management teams (composed by one principal, one pedagogical adviser and one assistant teacher at each school). Nowadays, teacher s formation is a controversial field, where are reflected different ideas on models for people, school and society. The preschool teacher formation is part of this scene, defined, however, by its own specific features. The specific literature concerning the formation of early childhood education teachers has been asserting the knowledge built about childhood, as relevant in their training programs. . In this sense, this dissertation attributes centrality to this generational category, as a central aspect for the early childhood education teacher s formation. The research results reveal, at the municipal level, several contradictions and a lack of importance given to the early childhood education particularities; at the same time, results show that the municipal documents offer an important general structure for the training process developed at municipal schools. In the two preschools it was observed that conceptions about early childhood education and teacher formation followed more integrated and holistic perspectives, what can be explained by the professionals own formation experiences that showed influences from past external advisors. The research also registered a relative lack of initiative by the teachers at the in service formation programs, in comparison with the active leadership of the management team at each school / Esta dissertação tem como objetivo analisar a formação continuada do professor de educação infantil, desenvolvida no contexto de duas pré-escolas públicas, no município de São Bernardo do Campo, estado de São Paulo.
