DIGITALA DELNINGSPLATTFORMAR : En kvalitativ studie om dess potential på landsbygden

Johansson, Robin, Andersson, Julia January 2020 (has links)
The rural areas are today troubled by negative development consisting of an aging population, reduced access to different types of services, a suboptimal housing market, poor conditions for digitalization and long distances. The purpose of this study is to generate knowledge about the potential of digital sharing platforms to improve this situation and to explore the question: “How can digital sharing platforms contribute to help solve the problems of the rural areas?”. Based on earlier research and four semistructured interviews, we identify the previously mentioned challenges and problems for the rural areas. Our conclusion is that several of the identified problems can be solved by digital sharing platforms. However, in order to solve these, there must be a development of rural sharing patterns as well as the ability to see and understand the value that digital sharing platforms can add. Furthermore, we conclude that the digital sharing platforms must also be adapted to the specific needs of rural areas in order to solve these problems.

Röstaktiverade assistenter och hur de upplevs : En studie om röstaktiverade assistenter och användarupplevelserrelaterade till säkerhetsaspekter / Voice activated assistents and how they are perceived : A studie about voice activated assistents and users experience related tosafety aspects

Lundin, Magdalena January 2020 (has links)
Voice assistants (VA) have been a part of mobile devices since 2011 when they were introduced for the first time by Apple. VA like Siri, Alexa and Google are used daily by users around the world and according to former studies security is an important part of the usage of VA. This study has as a main focus to research security aspects and its impact on user experience (UX) and usage of VA. The study has also examined how the users’ user experience of VA are to potentially show researchers how VA can be improved for the users. The study has been analysed through inductive and deductive analysis of surveys and semi-structured interviews that have been done on users and non-users of VA. The result of the study showed that security aspects did not have the most impact on the usage of VA. The impact that created bad UX and had an impact on the usage was that the VA did not hear what action the user wanted the VA to perform. This find shows that it is the usages itself of VA that need to be improved to create a good user experience, not the security aspects.

Unga kvinnor om IT-sektorn : En kvalitativ utvärdering av rekryteringsprocesser

Cakici, Eda, Berglin, Sebastian January 2020 (has links)
This paper explores and evaluates methods used by several larger Swedish companies working in the IT sector to ensure a greater equality between the sexes, mainly by employing more women. Today the IT field is widely known to be a sector dominated by men, and we were interested in how companies employ and evaluate their methods to reach a more equal workplace.  The data in this qualitative study was collected by interviews with these companies as well as several young women studying an IT profession at university. This will give companies useful insight in how women want the IT sector to change to accommodate their needs better. Through analyzing our interviews and by examining the relevant research literature the following aspects were discovered: The reason why women are not as attracted to IT as men is largely due to a negative mental picture associated with the field, this should therefore the primary focus of companies who wants to employ more women. Furthermore, the work towards equality should be both internal and external in nature, with an emphasis on high visibility so that women outside of the company sphere can take part in the process. Moreover, focus on female role models are important for women to feel represented and welcomed to the company. As the women who we were in contact with could not name a single female role model active in the IT sector, more work towards this is necessary. However, we also advise caution in methods who draws near to feminising aspects of the IT field. As this can have an alienating effect on the largest current workforce, i.e. men. We also advice against methods that segregate the sexes in an attempt to make it easier for women to enter the field of IT, as this has shown to be counterproductive when put in to practice.

The users that are using these services are facing threats and risks, and the business field as well.
