The survey was conducted from August 2008 to August 2010, totaling more than 50 trips Maceió/ Recife / Itapissuma, 05 trips Maceió/ Recife / João Pessoa, interviews, photos, filming and cataloging various documents. The theme fits the need to identify gender relations and education in the fishing community of Itapissuma, which was the object of study Casadinho Project and the Center for Development and Society. For this, the theoretical foundation includes gender, education and its impact on local development. The theory is based on gender in Leitão, Mota-Maneschy Maltez and Almeida, education, with Freire, Mota, Frigotto, Arf, in local development with Tauk, Callou, Hugues, Rojas and Bordenave, in history with Diegues, Silva, Barretto . By identifying the contributions of the CPP in the movement of women in fisheries Itapissuma, were organized the survey data that were used to develop a diagnostic history on gender, education and local development and to note that despite these adversities all fishers and continue weaving the RETEC their networks, not only in search of food, but also in pursuit of the dream of a better life through education. / O objetivo desta pesquisa consiste em resgatar as ações realizadas pela Comissão Pastoral dos Pescadores (CPP) no que se refere a gênero e educação no município de Itapissuma - PE e assim identificar os desdobramentos destas ações para o desenvolvimento local na região, através de estudo de caso com metodologia que envolve a pesquisa bibliográfica, documental e empírica. A pesquisa foi realizada no período de agosto de 2008 a agosto de 2010, totalizando mais de 50 viagens Maceió/Recife/Itapissuma, 05 viagens Maceió/Recife/João Pessoa, entrevistas, fotos, filmagens e a catalogação de vários documentos. A escolha do tema se insere na necessidade de identificar as relações de gênero e educação na comunidade de pescadores de Itapissuma, que foi objeto de estudo do Projeto Casadinho e do Núcleo de Desenvolvimento e Sociedade. Para isso, a fundamentação teórica inclui gênero, educação e suas repercussões no desenvolvimento local. O aporte teórico sobre gênero está fundamentado em Leitão, Maneschy Mota-Maltez e Almeida, na educação com Freire, Mota, Frigotto, Arf, no desenvolvimento local com Tauk, Callou, Hugues, Rojas e Bordenave, na história com Diegues, Silva, Barretto. Ao identificar as contribuições da CPP no movimento de mulheres na pesca de Itapissuma, foram sistematizados os dados da pesquisa que serviram para elaborar um diagnóstico histórico sobre gênero, educação e desenvolvimento local e para constatar que apesar dessas adversidades todas as pescadoras continuam tecendo e retecendo as suas redes, não só em busca do alimento, como também na busca do sonho de uma vida melhor através da educação.

A lifestyle marked by an extreme social need and splendid natural beauty. The methodology used was the research-action, which allowed the production of an audiovisual experience on the fishing community of the town of itapissuma (on the northern shores of Pernambuco, Brazil) where the matter of various kinds of violence perpetrated agains women (physical, health related and social invisibilty) is shown as one of the greater factors on social opression. Thus, through the production of documentaries made by those women-fishermen themselves, on the z-10 colony, their experiences and tales are show in the life of three characters: Joana, Maria and Cícera. All are women beyond the tide. In synthesis, our proposition leads to the notion that the female fishermen of Itapissuma may take possession of those technologies and techniques, through extension activities proposed by this particular research-action, and became authors on the construction of this knowledge about the fishing craft and the interests of this community when the day-to-day problems and issues may need to be represented. The research period happened between Augusto of 2008 to February 2009, gathering over 40 hours of footage added with qualitative data about women-related violence in Itapissuma. The subsequent analysis required theoretical backup about the following themes: Gender: Álvares, Leitão, Mendez, Rosaldo and Teles; Fishing Activities : Callou and Tauk Santos Action-Research: Dione, Richardson and Thiollent Audiovisual Production: Bernardette, Deleuze, Metz, Turner and Xavier On the Research results, the following points could be highlighted: 1) The use of Action-Research to identify questions about violence and gender 2) The applications of audiovisual media to approach questions about gender and violence, which are difficult to visualize because society, mostly denies it's existence. 3) It is a yet-to-be seen documentation of the approached themes. / Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo, revelar as especificidades do conflito de gênero e violência no contexto da pesca artesanal. Assim como documentar – por meio de produção audiovisual - a história de vida de três mulheres – um cotidiano marcado por situações de extremas carências sociais e de esplêndida beleza natural. A metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa ação que possibilitou a realização de uma experiência audiovisual com a comunidade de pesca do município de Itapissuma – litoral norte de Pernambuco, Brasil – onde a questão das diversas violências praticadas contra as mulheres (física, referentes à saúde e invisibilidade social) é apontada como um dos principais fatores de opressão social. Assim, através da produção de vídeos documentários realizados pelas próprias pescadoras da colônia Z-10, os relatos e experiências dessas mulheres se apresentam no contexto das histórias de vida de três personagens: Joana, Maria e Cícera que são mulheres além da maré. Em síntese, a proposta aqui desenvolvida caminha na direção de que as pescadoras de Itapissuma se apropriem desses mecanismos de tecnologias, por meio das oficinas e atividades de extensão propostas nesta pesquisa ação, e tornem-se autoras na construção desse conhecimento sobre o oficio da pesca e os interesses dessa comunidade quando se trata de retratar os problemas vivenciados no seu dia a dia. A pesquisa foi realizada no período de agosto de 2008 a fevereiro de 2010, totalizando mais de 40 horas de filmagem num trabalho que inclui dados qualitativos e quantitativos sobre a violência contra a mulher em Itapissuma. A análise exigiu fundamentação teórica no que diz respeito às seguintes temáticas: Gênero: Álvares, Leitão,Mendéz, Rosaldo e Teles; Violência: Foucault e Strey; Atividade Pesqueira: Callou e Tauk Santos; Pesquisa Ação: Dionne, Richardson e Thiollent; Produção Audiovisual: Bernardet, Deleuze, Metz, Turner e Xavier. Entre os resultados da pesquisa destacam-se: 1) A utilização da pesquisa ação para identificar questões de gênero e violência; 2) A aplicação da prática audiovisual para abordar questões naturalizadas como gênero e violência, de difícil visibilidade, geralmente negada pela sociedade; 3) Se constitui numa documentação inédita do tema abordado.
