A linha de montagem objeto do estudo acompanha esta tendência. Nela são montados modelos variados de chassis. Desta forma, o objetivo geral da pesquisa é desenvolver um modelo de abastecimento para linha de montagem multiprodutos, onde o ponto principal do trabalho é a definição do conceito mais adequado de acordo com o tipo e quantidade do material a ser abastecido. Através de uma pesquisa-ação foi proposto um modelo de abastecimento de linha que demonstrou uma redução de aproximadamente 50% da área ocupada na borda de linha, em consequência da redução de materiais, e aumento de 3% da produtividade, em virtude das reduções das indisponibilidades e perdas por set-up de abastecimento. / The increasing variety of products in current production systems is a big challenge for internal logistics supply of materials to a final assembly line, the logistic supply must be in step with the production program, in order to provide the necessary material for assembly at the right time and in the correct quantities. The assembly line which is the object of this study follows the trend. On it, several models of chassis are assembled. Therefore, the general objective of this research is to develop a supply model for a multi-product assembly line, with the main focus of the work on determining the most suitable concept in terms of the type and amount of material to be supplied. Through research-action, a model to supply the line has been proposed, which demonstrated a reduction of approximately 50% of the area occupied alongside the line, due to the reduction in materials, and an increase of 3% in productivity, owing to the reductions in outages and losses during supply set-up.

I delar av byggbranschen finns idag ett gemensamt problem som kan beskrivas med termen dålig framförhållning. Detta försvårar möjligheten att se bygglogistiken i ett helhetsperspektiv, både för leverantören och entreprenören, men tyvärr även för övriga aktörer inblandade i byggproduktionsprojekt. Att uppnå bra bygglogistik med ökad hänsyn till miljön kräver ett gott samarbete mellan samtliga parter. Bygglogistik är planering flera (många) veckor framåt, i byggbranschen är det vanligt att det uppkommer oväntade händelser som leder till att tidsplaner för olika delar i byggprojektet justeras. I dagsläget är det lite för ofta som justeringar sker ”i sista minuten”. Detta leder till dyrare frakter, svårigheter att klara av en bra leveransprecision vilket i sin tur påverkar effektiviteten i bygglogistiken negativt. Problemen som upptäckts för de olika processerna inom bygglogistiken på Cramo är beskrivna med åtgärdsförslag, rekommendationer för effektivisering/förbättring av bygglogistik under rubriken probleminventering. För detta arbete har faktainsamlingen omfattat metoderna i lean construction som JIT- Just in time och jämförelser mellan olika tilläggstjänsterna som används i byggbranschen idag. Även fakta om kommunikationssystemet, TMS, samt läran om transport och materialhantering har undersökts och analyserats. Fakta från intervjuerna som beskriver TMS, transport metoder och lösningar samt hur hantering av material sker och vad man har för mål i framtiden har redovisats i bakgrunden, resultatet samt i analysen. Bygglogistik är kortfattat en samlings ord för alla aktiviteter som leder till att rätt produkt ska vara på rätt plats vid rätt tillfälle. “Tänk efter före”(Sundin, 2019) / In the construction industry, there is a general industry problem that can be described by the term poor advance planning. This makes it difficult to see the construction logistics in a holistic perspective, both for the supplier and the contractor, but unfortunately also for other parties involved in construction production projects. Achieving good building logistics with consideration for the environment requires good cooperation between all parties. Building logistics is planning several (many) weeks ahead, in the construction industry it is common that unexpected events arise that lead to adjusting timetables for different parts of the construction project. At present, it is a little too often that adjustments are made "at the last minute". This leads to more expensive freight, difficulties in coping with a good delivery precision, which in turn negatively affects the efficiency of construction logistics. Problems that has been discovered for the different parts of the process within building logistics in CRAMO are presented with solutions, recommendation of efficiency/improvement for building logistics under the title problem inventory,”problem inventering”. In problem inventory, these are described while action proposals are presented later in the report during the analysis. For this work, the facts have included the methods in lean construction as JIT- Just in time and comparisons between various additional services used in the construction industry today. Facts about the communication system, TMS, and the doctrine of transport and material handling have also been investigated and analyzed. Facts from the interviews that describe TMS, transport methods and solutions as well as how material handling takes place and what one has for goals in the future have been reported in the background, the result and in the analysis. Building logistics is briefly a term for all activities that lead to the right product being in the right place at the right time. "Think ahead" (Sundin, 2019)

En bygglogistikanalys av Väsjöprojektet i Sollentuna / A construction logistics analysis of the Väsjö project in Sollentuna

Byggindustrin är reglerad av avtal, överenskommelser och består av flera metoder samt att materialet är beroende av vilken typ av byggnad som ska konstrueras. Varje nytt byggprojekt är en unik produkt på en helt ny plats. Vilket skiljer sig från tillverkningsindustrin, som producerar produkter i fabrik. Från studiens syfte har tre frågeställningar utformats. Metoden som använts för att uppnå syftet och besvara frågeställningar har varit kvalitativ och kvantitativ. Den insamlade data är främst från intervjuer och tidigare studier. Studien har visat att tidigare bygglogistikanalyser saknar eller har otydlig definition av avgörande faktorer och detaljer kring konstruktion av fastigheter samt dess transporter. Analysen av tidigare bygglogistikanalyser har resulterat i antaganden och användbara värden för att utföra en prognos för stadsutvecklingsprojektet Väsjön. Scenarioanalysen visade att projektet generar drygt 240 000 transporter som motsvarar cirka 200 ton koldioxidutsläpp vid bostadsproduktion av 4500 nya bostäder. Analysen visade möjligheten att minska både antalet transporter och utsläpp när olika logistiklösningarna introduceras, såsom en checkpoint- lösning, en terminallösning, en gemensam avfallshantering eller kombination av dem.

The Implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) InManufacturing Company : A Case Study of XYZ Plastics Manufacturing Company in Nigerian

The purpose of this thesis is to implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) in Nigeria Plastics Manufacturing Company. Manufacturing companies round the world pay huge amount of money for purchasing new equipments to boost their production however nothing or little is done to achieve or obtain full output from the machine for which it is intended to do. Small losses in time or deviations from planned or calculated capability are taken as usual machine performance. But currently as a result of improved capability levels and demand of quality product at lower prices, purchasing latest machine/equipment is not a way out unless it is completely used. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is a method that involve everybody totally, from high management to all workers to implement a complete maintenance program for all machine/equipment during its life. This method ends up in most effectiveness of tools, equipment, virtuously improved workers, tidy up working area, neat and clean working environment. A structure is going to be developed with the potential of evaluating the impact of implementing total productive maintenance within. By evaluating the result or outcome of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), manufacturing companies can create sensible/smart decisions to improve the potency and standard of the machine, equipment and also the product on XYZ Plastics Manufacturing Company in Nigerian.
