Previous issue date: 2018-03-06 / Conselho Nacional de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento Cient?fico e Tecnol?gico - CNPq / The presence and formation of Jewish identity in Brazil is usually discussed under the point of view of some great basic landmarks about the group, such as anti-semitism and its development in Americas. However, there are other perspectives about specific and daily elements, which are mainly related to the dynamics of community life of the Jews and Jewish, and how they were on Brazilian land. This research aimed to analyze these other possibilities in order to understand the formation of Jewish identity in Brazil during the period from 1945 to 1950. Furthermore, it took into account the importance of this period due to the end of authoritarian regimes, both in Brazil and Europe, the revealed traumas of the Shoah and the creation of Israel State as a Jewish place. From Porto Alegre city ? third largest capital in Jewish presence in Brazil ? it is possible to note that the face with so many changes that focus directly on Judaism, the Jewish identity in the diaspora brazilian appears to have faced long debates and internal disputes, seeking a reflection about their individual values and its consequences in the common group. These elements can be especially inferred from internal circulation journals in the Jewish community in Porto Alegre, and in the Hatikva, DROR-Zionist Socialist Youth Organization, Hamagbit and Kol Israel Almanac-Group Betar.

Previous issue date: 2006-06-22 / The dissertation To hear and to love Iahweh: Dt 6,4-9, a way towards a culture of peace is an exegetic biblical-pastoral study of the pericope of Deuteronomy 6,4-9, which is called Shem? Israel, which is the challenge faced by Israel of listening and accepting Iahweh as the only God in response to His love and fidelity. His attitude should be of loving Him with all his heart, with all his soul and with all his strength and to inculcate into the children these teachings. Such demonstration of love towards Iahweh and not towards other gods, leads Israel to organize a society based not in violence or social classes, but determined by fraternal structures. In our times, the recuperation of these actions express values such as solidarity, cooperation and fraternity that have been abandoned throughout history, causing situations of violence. The Kings Hezekiah and Josiah, in the VIII and VII centuries B.C., favored reforms aiming at uniting Israel around the unique God, the unique people, the unique land, an unique sanctuary and a unique Law, to keep the nation strong and united. During that period they found in the Temple the Book of the Law that was used as the basis for those reforms. This book is part of the present Deuteronomy in which the Shem? Israel works as a set of values such as solidarity, fraternity, and justice that helps to build up actions towards peace. In our days, in the middle of conflicts and dehumanization, the Shem? is presented as an alternative way to recognize the signs already existent in our society, that focus on the construction of a culture of peace. It points towards a social change in the perspective of a communitarian solidarism, having the Jesus complement in the commandment to love your neighbor as yourself, becoming a fundament for attitudes that consolidate traditions of peace.

Étude textuelle et exégétique / The Antiochian Text of 4 Kingdoms 18-25. A Textual and Exegetical StudyDuval-Poujol, Valérie 10 January 2013 (has links)
In the first part of the dissertation, we deal with the textual analysis of 4 Kingdoms (2 Kings) 18-25 ; we first translate the Antiochian text (LXX-L) into French for these chapters. Then, through a comparison with the codex Vaticanus (Cambridge edition) and with the Masoretic text (MT, BHS edition), we present a detailed study of the characteristics of LXX-L (as edited by Fernández-Marcos and Busto Saïz), classifying them into three categories: literary changes, textual differences and theological modifications. In the second part, mainly exegetical, we identify the theological issues of these chapters, showing that MT and the Antiochian text, although differing in their emphasis, both have the same purpose : to describe the progressive phasing out of the main “institutions” (house of the Lord, priesthood, and prophecy) for the benefit of king Josias (who is contrasted with Ezekias and Manasseh). Josias himself gives precedence to a new authority : the book of the alliance, the scroll discovered in the Temple, authentified by Houlda, the prophetess. This emergence of the book’s supremacy unfolds as the monarchy is failing, the judgement of the Exile is taking place and a hope for a new covenant is dawning. The dissertation shows that despite the evident diversity of the textual types of MT and LXX-L, there is a strong unity in their key themes.
