The implementation of integration policy has in recent times been a major problem for the municipal administrations in Swedish municipalities. The concept of integration is considered to be very diffuse, difficult to apply and implement the following decisions. To understand the concept of integration is the first step, followed by understanding its complexity in an organization. In this study, I focus on studying the implementation of integration policies for integration work with Kalmar Municipality as a case study. I am using Lundquist's implementation theory about understanding, able and willing. The survey consists primarily of interviews but also a certain document to get a perspective on how integration policy has gone into integration work with the hypothesis that it is the understanding that weaknesses of the officials in the implementation of integration policies. The final result was that the discretion and resources inadequacies of officials in the implementation of integration policies.

<p>The purpose of this study was to examine and evaluate an assembly station at Kalmar Industries in respect to ergonomics. The study was to result in an improved assembly station with lower risk of work- related injuries. It was the study group’s expectation that the measures taken at the assembly station can function as guidance and an inspiration for other ergonomic improvements at the company. Several goals related to the purpose were established as guidance for the study.</p><p>The mechanic’s work situation was mapped through a series of methods. With inquiry and interviews the study group got information of the mechanics own thoughts, ideas and understanding about the working situation. Application of participating and non-participating observation, photographing and video filming gave the project members the possibility to document the reality and compare it with gathered information from the mechanics. At the same time, literature and earlier studies was studied to gather current information and ideas.</p><p>All data was analyzed and parallel to this several solutions could be developed by the study group with the help of innovation techniques and benchmarking. The solutions are composed of recommendations on purchases and new product development for improvements in respect to the ergonomic situation.</p>

<p>This Thesis is performed in cooperation with Kalmar Industries in Lidhult, Sweden. The</p><p>projects main purpose was to develop a draft design of a test equipment. The equipment</p><p>will simulate and valuate the drive-train and brakes at Kalmar’s bigger forklifts.</p><p>The equipment will be designed so the wheels of the forklift are placed on two rollers;</p><p>these absorb and affect the forklifts brake- and driving force. With this characteristic an</p><p>up- and downhill can be simulated. Today, the forklifts are being tested on a test track.</p><p>This test method is both very time consuming and the repeatability is miscellaneous with</p><p>insecure values as result.</p><p>The thesis has consisted of determining base dimensions like axle load, torque, power</p><p>requirement, etc. Even roller, bearings and axle dimensions was created. Searching for</p><p>proper application to drive and brake the rollers was also done.</p><p>Under the project’s time mechanics- and strengths calculations were made. Even</p><p>investigations of available and existing equipment have been done. The result of the</p><p>project is proposition of a drive/brake equipment and a beginning of primary design.</p>

I denna uppsats har jag tagit reda på hur klimatförändringarna i framtiden kan komma att drabba Kalmar. Syftet med uppsatsen var att förklara för läsarna hur klimatförändringarna visar sig, hur de kan påverka städer och dessutom se hur de olika organisationerna som agerar inom kommunen och länet har planerat för detta och vilka kunskaper de har. Uppsatsen är skriven med en kvalitativ explanativ metod. Med hjälp av olika personer som jobbar inom berörda organisationer har jag kommit fram till att det största problemet som kan uppstå på grund av klimatförändringarna är översvämningar och stormar. Då Kalmar är en gammal stad som är uppbyggd nästan precis i strandkanten så skulle en permanent höjning av vattennivån medföra att stora områden i Kalmars centrala delar skulle kunna hamna under vatten. Redan nu kan det konstateras att Kalmar Hamn har problem med kajernas hållfasthet på grund av en urgröpning som är ett resultat av de senaste årens högvatten.

A new standard for brand valuation ISO 10668 was adopted in2010, which has created a more reliable valuation method. It used several different methodsbefore, which meant different values but now they have agreed to this standard, which shouldmean that more companies make brand valuation. But that’s not the case, and you can wonderwhy? We also want to see the benefits created for companies, and the benefits companies canget with a valuation of the brand.Purpose: With this essay we want to examine how companies in Kalmar County looks atbrand valuation, if they have made it or not. Because we see that the standard 10668 havebrought a greater level of safety but not prompted companies to a higher extent to evaluatetheir brands. We also want to investigate what companies receive for benefits and the benefitsthey can get of evaluating their brands.Method: We chose a qualitative research approach, as we desired flexibility Furthermore, wechose to make use of an abductive method. Empirical data collection proceeded in the waythat we interviewed four companies in Kalmar County and three experts on brand valuation.We made an early pilot interview with an expert to design the essay.Conclusion: We concluded that there is a great deal of ignorance among the companies onbrand valuation. The new standard ISO 10668, it is even more ignorance of. But since contactwas taken with the interview correspondents, the interest around both components increased.Many advantages are created by evaluating the brand, such as creating an understanding ofthe pricing of its product or service that can increase a company's profits. ISO 10668 is aguideline for brand valuation and does not account for some immaterial values as socialbenefits. It could be due to the difficulty to evaluate such a value in a reliable way and astandard to calculate the social benefits would be preferable / Inledning och problem: Begreppet varumärke härstammar ifrån fornnordiska ordet ”brandr”och betyder ”att brännmärka”. En ny standard för varumärkesvärdering ISO 10668 antogs2010 vilket har skapat en mera tillförlitlig värderingsmetod. Innan användes flera olikametoder vilket gav olika värden men nu har man enats om den här standarden, vilket bordebetyda att fler företag gör varumärkesvärdering. Så är det inte och man kan fråga sig varför?Vi ville också se vilka fördelar som skapas för företagen och vilka nyttor företagen kan dra ioch med en värdering av varumärket.Syfte: Med den här uppsatsen vill vi undersöka hur företag i Kalmar län ser på värdering avvarumärke, ifall de har gjort det eller inte. Detta Eftersom vi ser att standarden 10668 hartillfört en större tillförlitlighet och trygghet men inte fått företag i högre utsträckning attvärdera sina varumärken. Vi vill även undersöka vad företagen får för fördelar och kan dra förnyttor med att värdera sina varumärken.Metod: Vi valde en kvalitativ forskningsansats då vi eftersträvade flexibilitet, vidare så valdevi att använda oss av en abduktiv ansats. Empiriinsamlingen gick tillväga så att vi intervjuadefyra stycken företag i Kalmar län och tre stycken experter kring varumärkesvärdering. Vigjorde en tidig pilotintervju med en expert för att utforma uppsatsen.Resultat/slutsats: Vi kom fram till att det finns en väldig okunskap bland företagen omvarumärkesvärdering. Den nya standarden 10668 som tagits fram är det ännu mera okunskapkring, men sedan kontakt var tagen med intervjukorrespondenterna väcktes intresset kring debåda delarna. Flera fördelar skapas genom att värdera sitt varumärke som till exempel attskapa sig en förståelse för prissättning av sin vara eller tjänst som kan öka företagets vinster.ISO 10668 är en riktlinje för varumärkesvärdering och tar inte hänsyn till en del immateriellavärden som samhällsnyttor. Dels kan det bero på svårigheten att kunna värdera ett sådantvärde på ett tillförlitligt sätt och en standard för att beräkna samhällsnyttan vore att föredra.

In this Bachelor thesis I am going to look at attitudes towards political violence in a small town in Sweden in the 1920s. The town I have picked for this study is Kalmar situated on the east coast of Sweden. This study is a micro historic case study. The specific case is a strike at the city’s water and gas plants for higher salary. To see these attitudes in Kalmar, I have to ask myself these questions: Which are the establishment’s attitudes towards political violence in a small town in Sweden in the 1920’s? How does the working class movement, the work union and the social democratic party’s attitudes look like in a small town in Sweden in the 1920’s? The answer I got is that the establishment had a direct negative attitude towards the political violence at the gas plant in Kalmar. The working class and the unions and Social democratic party had a different attitude. They distanced themselves from the violence, but they showed sympathy for the person who got punished for the violence.
