Aplikace nových trendů řízení projektů na konkrétním IT projektu / The Application of new project management trends within a specific IT project

Paduch, Jiří January 2014 (has links)
The Information technologies are becoming a key element in achieving an advantage above your competitors. Therefore, it is as important coming up with new and original ideas as well as having the ability to enforce those ideas by current management. The chances of enforcing new ideas are higher if you manage to implement the changes within set up forecast. The lack of flexibility and a low percentage of successful projects within these limits were the main motivation for composing this Master Thesis. There is an introduction to the agile project management in the first part of this paper and a specific implementation example of this method in the second part.

Analysis implementation of lean manufacturing system in an automotive parts manufacturing enterprise.

Fernando Pereira Ferreira 03 July 2004 (has links)
In general, industries, mainly the big or medium ones, had already come across situations typically a result from being an overly productive company, meaning that they produce more than clients can absorb or in a rhythm above the required. They also are exposed to related situations such as deviation or distortion of production information, disorder of the factory floor and several other day-by-day problems. Such problems cause losses to the company, as they do not add value, because they do not really transform raw materials, thus modifying the form or the quality of the product. This study presents the benefits of employing the Lean Manufacturing concepts for the implementation of a new productive division, acting in corrective and preventive ways, thus contributing to waste reduction, with as reference the Toyota Production System, allied to the studied companys own lean system. Practical methods for the elimination of waste potentials found in productive environments are also demonstrated through the results achieved, as well as the difference between the conventional manufacturing system which still is used by several companies, compared to those companies which adopted Lean Manufacturing as a working standard. This study focalizes the steps used for the implementation and the benefits achieved by the application of the principles of this philosophy.

Effektivisering av lagerhållningsprocess : Standardisering för hanterbar uppföljning av svinn i produktion / Streamlining of warehousing process : Standardization for manageable follow-up of waste in production

Hawil, Steven January 2021 (has links)
There are many costs that companies do not get paid for, i.e., none-values-added costs, waste of material in the production process also known as solid waste is an example of such a cost. Solid waste includes left over of materials that aren ́t reusable after the production process is completed and end up as cassation.  Danish Crown Jönköping AB is a meat factory that works with meat processing and retail packaging of pork and beef details throughout Sweden. The company wants to follow up the value of waste in production, for it to be implemented, the company needs to streamline the warehousing process to facilitate the follow-up of waste.  After the problem formulation has been developed where several aspects needed to be addressed, a current situation analysis and workshop were performed to get a clear view about the symptoms shown in the flow. The plant has two different shifts involved in the workflow without any standardized work presented, which leads the shifts to depend on finding the best way to perform the different tasks individually.  Where and how the articles are placed in the warehouse needed to be sorted out, that was done with a warehouse layout that shows how article are placed at present with an ABC analysis based on picking frequency from a six-weeks forecast. The ABC analysis showed that the placement of the articles can be improved to increase the efficiency level in the inventory process.  The study resulted in several proposals in the work- and information flow to increase the security in the stock balance, streamline of the inventory process and increased flexibility at the turn of the season.
