O presente estudo analisou alguns aspectos significativos nos métodos de custeamento dos produtos de empresas que implantaram em seu processo produtivo "Técnicas Gerenciais Japonesas", mais conhecidas como "Sistema de Produção Just-in-Time (JIT)". O trabalho objetivou identificar os mecanismos pelos quais se dá a redução dos custos dos produtos mecânicos discretos das empresas que implantaram o JIT; comparar estes com os de um curtume com processo de produção e custos apurados por método tradicional, bem como, confrontar o tratamento dos custos pelo sistema tradicional e pelo JIT. Ao término da análise, concluiu-se que o alvoroço em torno da necessidade de renovação das técnicas de custeamento de produtos, não constitui a realidade das empresas, ou seja, as empresas estão apurando seus custos com base nos métodos "tradicionais. / This study analyses some critical and significant aspects in the cost appropriation methods utilized by the enterprises which are implementing "Japanese Management Techniques", more generally known as "Just-in-Time Production System", in their shop management. This work aimed at identifying the means by which cost reductions occur in the production of discret mechanical articles in those industries which have implemented JIT techniques; comparing these vis-à-vis the traditional production system and cost accounting means used by an enterprise dedicated to leather processing, in order to determine whether there are or not significant differences among the cost accruing systems and what are their nature. By the end of the analysis we came to the conclusion that there is too much ado for nothing in relation to the need for a renewing in the products accruing techniques since we found no evidence whatsoever that trere is such a preoccupation within the interprises, i.e., they are accruing their costs based on the "traditional" methods.

Para tanto, efetuou-se um levantamento bibliográfico para se ter um referencial teórico e uma pesquisa de campo em empresas ligadas ao setor automobilístico para verificar a forma como utilizam o sistema Kanban e sua inserção a partir do Plano Mestre de Produção (PMP) dentro do Planejamento e Controle da Produção (PCP). O fundamento de se buscar a análise em indústrias automobilísticas encontra-se ligado à própria história da produção enxuta, a qual foi desenvolvida no Japão em uma indústria automobilística: a Toyota, obtendo excelentes resultados. Para elaboração da pesquisa de campo, buscou-se na região da cidade de Curitiba três empresas desse segmento, as quais têm efetivado a implementação do sistema Kanban a menos de cinco anos. Com isso, podem fornecer informações concretas e objetivas quanto a forma e as vantagens de implementação desse sistema, bem como seu relacionamento com a elaboração do Plano Mestre de Produção dentro do PCP. Como resultados obteve-se um elevado grau de satisfação das empresas pesquisadas no que concerne a implementação do sistema Kanban, e sua relação com a elaboração do PMP dentro do PCP, no que tange o atendimento da diversidade do mercado, tornando o sistema de PCP flexível o suficiente para suportar estas oscilações. Estruturou-se da seguinte forma: Capítulo 1 - trata da introdução do trabalho, no qual constam: a origem do trabalho; a importância do trabalho; objetivos geral e específico; as limitações e a estrutura do trabalho. Capítulo 2 - abrange a revisão bibliográfica sobre o Planejamento e Controle de Produção, Plano Mestre de Produção e o sistema Kanban, incluindo seu histórico, definição, forma de aplicação e implementação, vantagens, desvantagens e suas limitações quanto às características das empresas. Capítulo 3 - a partir dos conceitos teóricos do capítulo 2 é descrita a metodologia de pesquisa a ser efetuada no interior das empresas da indústria automobilística da região de Curitiba. Capítulo 4 - neste capítulo são relatados os resultados da aplicação da pesquisa efetuada no interior das empresas, descrevendo os resultados e analisando-os conforme a teoria de base do capítulo 2. No final do capítulo apresenta-se uma conclusão sobre o caso prático. Capítulo 5 - neste capítulo apresentam-se às conclusões obtidas através do desenvolvimento deste trabalho e as recomendações para trabalhos futuros, ou situações que podem ser modificadas ao longo do tempo.

ABSTRACT Purpose: The aim of the study is to provide a summary map of how a manufacturing company works with Lean tools to eliminate waste and create improvements. Initially the research questions were formulated, to which the study intends to answer and also goes in line with the purpose: How can companies in the manufacturing industry use Lean tools to work with improvements? How can Lean tools such as, elimination of 7+1 wastes and work with 5S contribute to improvements? Methodology and implementation: A case study has been carried out on a large company in the manufacturing industry, and to relate to what the literature says, also a comprehensive literature study on Lean methodology has been conducted. The study has been conducted through data collection, participatory observations and interviews. Documentation has taken place throughout the entire thesis. Result: The study shows that the company in which the case study was conducted at, uses several Lean tools in its continuous improvement work. Results from literature studies show a coherence that application of Lean tools is something that companies benefits from in their work with improvements. The result also shows a consensus when it comes to companies needing to see Lean as an overall system and a philosophy, not just as a set of effective tools. Results from literature studies also show that there is a lack of awareness about wasted improvements (the ninth waste). Key words: Lean, elimination of waste, 5S, improvements in vain, Kanban, standardised work / SAMMANFATTNING Syfte: Syftet med studien är att ta fram en nulägeskarta över hur ett företag inom tillverkningsindustrin arbetar med Lean-verktyg för att eliminera slöseri och skapa förbättringar. I ett tidigt stadie formulerades de forskningsfrågor som studien avser att besvara och som går i linje med syftet: Hur kan företag inom tillverkningsindustrin använda verktyg inom Lean för att arbeta med förbättringar? Hur kan Lean-verktyg som eliminering av 7+1 slöseri och arbete med 5S leda till förbättringar? Metod och genomförande: En fallstudie har genomförts på ett stort företag inom den tillverkande industrin och för att knyta an till det som litteraturen säger har även en omfattande litteraturstudie inom Lean-metodik genomförts. Studien har utförts genom insamling av data, deltagande observationer och intervjuer. Dokumentation har skett fortlöpande under hela examensarbetet. Resultat: Studien visar att företaget där fallstudien utfördes använder ett flertal Lean-verktyg i sitt kontinuerliga förbättringsarbete. Resultat från litteraturstudier visar en samstämmighet att tillämpning av Lean-verktyg är något som gynnar företag i deras arbete med förbättringar. Resultatet visar även en samsyn när det gäller att företag behöver se Lean som ett helhetssystem och en filosofi, inte endast som en uppsättning effektiva verktyg. Resultat från litteraturstudier visar även att det finns en avsaknad av medvetenhet om bortkastade förbättringar (det nionde slöseriet). Sammanfattning/AbstractDenna uppsats erbjuder en skalbar lektionssekvens som på ett adekvat pedagogiskt sätt introducerar elever på teknisk linje till att anamma dynamiska agila projektarbetsformer som utnyttjas inom näringslivet för att få fram nya produkter och tjänster. Detta är centralt för att uppfylla de krav som finns på teknikutbildningen på gymnasienivån och utgörs av att eleverna ska få förmåga att arbeta tillsammans i projektform för att lösa realistiska problem och sedan använda sig av teknikutvecklingsprocessen för att ta fram användbara lösningar.Uppsatsen presenterar det pedagogiska konceptet med organiserade syften för att få eleverna att förstå de begrepp och principer som utgör de centrala delarna av denna arbetsform. Konceptet bygger på närliggande och övergripande syften där målet är att det närliggande syftet blir ett fruktbart mål-i-sikte för eleverna samtidigt som det görs kontinuerligt med övergripande syfte. För ett antal aktuella begrepp och principer presenters ett antal alternativa närliggande syften med avsikten att underlätta och stimulera pedagogens möjlighet att utnyttja detta koncept för att förbättra undervisningen vad gäller agila projektformer.För att tillgodogöra sig denna arbetsform på ett effektivt sätt krävs enligt den didaktiska litteraturen att eleverna utvecklar en produkt/tjänst som löser ett problem inom ett definierat område. Detta innebär att eleverna inom ramen för lektionssekvensen dessutom får utveckla förmågan att brottas med autentiska problem där de får söka sig fram till en lösning samtidigt som de får ta del av kollegialt lärande. Detta är väsentliga byggstenar för att tillgodogöra sig teknisk kunskap och utgör ett sekundärt lärandemål med lektionssekvensen.

A escolha dos métodos de planejamento e controle de produção mais adequados para uma determinada empresa, é uma tarefa bastante árdua. Dentro de um mercado global, no qual a competitividade é a tônica, a procura de metodologias que permitam o aumento da produtividade é uma constante. O presente trabalho avalia as metodologias MRPII, "kanban" e OPT diante de alguns dos fatores que devem ser analisados para o projeto de um sistema de controle de produção. Os fatores analisados são: natureza da demanda, características dos produtos e processos, fontes de suprimento, nível tecnológico dos equipamentos e os estágios da organização da produção. / Choosing the right production planning and control system is a challenging task for every industrial company. In global markets, with strong competition, there are constant searches for the introduction of new methodologies or the implementation of strongly established ones, that represents increasing of productivity. This paper analyses some factors which are important to take into account for the choice of an specific methodology. The factors analyzed are: the nature of the demand, the products and process characteristics, sources of suppliers, the technology levei and the stage of the production organization.
