Gestaltung und Design von Web-Anwendungen sind in zunehmendem Maße Kriterien, die den Erfolg eines Produktes ausmachen. Diese Entwicklung macht auch vor den Bibliotheken nicht halt....

Gemäß einer weit verbreiteten Annahme haben Schlagwortketten in OPACs kaum Nutzen. Doch tragen sie nicht nur bei der Anzeige erheblich zur Verständlichkeit bei, sondern sind auch im Retrieval vielfältig nutzbar: Der Schlagwortkettenindex bietet eine nach inhaltlichen Kriterien geordnete Anzeige und ermöglicht eine rasche Relevanzentscheidung. In der Volltitelanzeige können auch ungeübte Benutzer mit einem einzigen Klick ähnliche Titel finden (Weitersuche mit der Schlagwortkette). Innovative neue Anwendungen sind zum einen der Drill-down mit Schlagwortketten (z.B. UB Augsburg, UB Regensburg) und zum anderen die Kettenstichwortsuche (Ausgabe aller Ketten, die die Suchbegriffe an irgendeiner Stelle enthalten; z.B. Helveticat); zum Teil sind jedoch noch technische Verbesserungen nötig. Zukünftig sollte außerdem eine kettenspezifische, d.h. „gegenstandsscharfe“ Suche realisiert werden, die nur diejenigen Titel ausgibt, bei denen die gesuchten Begriffe in derselben Schlagwortkette stehen. Sinnvoll wäre auch das Angebot, sich ein beliebiges Trefferset in Form eines Schlagwortkettenindex anzeigen zu lassen (Schlagwortsicht). Schlagwortketten und moderne OPAC-Technik passen also durchaus zusammen, und es ist ein Gebot der Wirtschaftlichkeit, die Nutzung der Schlagwortketten im OPAC zu verbessern. Bsp: Nationalbibliothek Bern. Ihre Schlagwortketten wurden geprüft, am Bespiel „Geografie der Schweiz“: Etwa 2/5 der Ketten sind redundant, weil sie Duplikate darstellen.

Während Wissenschaft, Literatur, Bildung und Lehren den intellektuellen Kosmos repräsentierten und die Buchproduktion den materiellen und kommerziellen Pol konstituierte, übernahmen die Kataloge und Bibliographien die Aufgabe, kognitive Instrumente für beide Realitäten anzubieten, Karten des Zugangs, der Erforschung und des Nachweises zur Verfügung zu stellen. Es kam zur Herausbildung von drei Realitäten, deren jede sich in einem eigenen System verkörperte und zugleich mit den anderen in Korrespondenz stand: Weil jede von ihnen auf der Ebene der schriftlichen Kommunikation, des wissenschaftlichen Fortschritts und des Buchhandels notwendigerweise die jeweils anderen implizierten. In der Folge kam es dazu, dass zwischen den drei Systemen begriffliche und andere Isomorphismen zur Geltung kamen, sowohl im Reich der Literatur als auch in dem der Kultur und der Systematik.

In the diploma thesis, I will compound an advertising portfolio for a medium-sized company. This set of materials will be made in a practical implementation and published in supplements of my thesis. All creative and professional work will considerably be liable to requirements of a customer and partly to his taste as well. In acomplishing of the work I will take account of the functional, rather than the artistic aspect of the work, because all the advertising materials are strictly functional. My thesis, especilly the theoretical part, concerns the functional and artistic analysis of methods of work. I will also try to see the issue from the view of the advertising marketing and to weigh up the financial demands of the individual projects. I will also describe (rather than the theoretical principals of the work) my authentic ways of work and reflections in relation to inviolability of my own {\clqq}know-how`` and {\clqq}know-how`` of the particular company. I would also like to mention complications and problems which appeared during the practical aplicaton of the work.

This diploma thesis deals with usage of bayesian filtres. Bayesian filters are used especially as defensive mechanism in fight with unsolicited emails. The main aim is to try whether these filters may operate not only with emails but also on behalf of web pages distinction. The introductory part provides basic information about fight against unsolicited emails. Above all is mentioned bayesian fighting method that is more detailed developed with simple example. The second fundamental half is focusing on attempt where are experimentally analyzed possibilities of web pages distinction with the aid of bayesian filter into legitimate and spam pages. Furthermore it handles with possibility web pages sorting into several categories more than only into legitimate and spam. Both experiments are described in detail and it includes descriptions of all used tools.

This work deals with creating an catalogue of active devices. The catalogue enables editing and sorting the devices etc. This work describes briefly databases, choosen programming language and deals with the functions of the catalogue.

Work deals with modern electronics catalogue which is important for presentation firm to their customer.

The thesis deals with soil aggregates and their shapes. There were collected soil samples commonly occurring in ŠLP Křtiny. It was a cambisol, brown soil, luvisol, rendzina and ranker. Sampling was made always in a coppice and high forest. In these soils it was carried out due to grain size analysis to determine clay content and digital analysis focused on the water-stable aggregates external structure. There was determined volume and the surface of the aggregates and the mutual relationship. It was found that the aggregates of the same soil at different ages show a trend of size and shape change. These changes depend on the content of clay and organic matter. Catalog was created from digitally scanned aggregates that displays aggregates shapes with its parameters and summarizes the basic info of soils.
