From passive to active - active participation of Catholics in celebrating liturgy renewed by II. Vatican Council.

TOMAN, Bohumil January 2013 (has links)
The work deals with active participation of religious people while celebrating li-turgy renewed by II. Vatican council, The whole work is divided into 5 major parts. The history of liturgy is described in the first part of the work. Emphasis is put on the age of Liturgical Movement and following outfall into general reform of liturgy ? the constitution of Sacrosanctum Concilium. The second part deals with the importance of music and language which are necessary condition for active participation. I would like to highlight the transition from latin to local languages after the II. Vatican council. The Church wants the religious people to be active in liturgy and which leads to another part of the work which is dedicated to the services for children and young people. It also considers the beauty and richness of the breviary. A very important term is animation of liturgy which is mentioned in the fourth part of the work. I dedicated the last part of my work is to familirize the readers with efforts in Týn nad Vltavou?s parish to engage the people in liturgy.

[pt] A INFLUÊNCIA DO PENSAMENTO DE ROMANO GUARDINI NA CONSTRUÇÃO E DESENVOLVIMENTO DA TEOLOGIA LITÚRGICA DE JOSEPH RATZINGER À LUZ DAS OBRAS O ESPÍRITO DA LITURGIA E O ESPÍRITO DA LITURGIA. UMA INTRODUÇÃO / [en] THE INFLUENCE OF ROMAN GUARDINI S THOUGHT ON THE CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF JOSEPH RATZINGER S LITURGICAL THEOLOGY IN THE LIGHT OF WORKS THE SPIRIT OF THE LITURGY AND THE SPIRIT OF THE LITURGY

[en] The theme of this research is the influence of Romano Guardini s thought on the construction and development of Joseph Ratzinger s liturgical theology. It is part of the research activities of the Postgraduate Program in Theology of PUC-Rio, Area of Concentration Systematic-Pastoral Theology, research line Faith and Culture, research project Joseph Ratzinger s Theology and the Magisterium of Benedict XVI. The main objective is to investigate the existence of an internal coherence between the thinking of the veronese intellectual and that of the bavarian theologian in such a way that it can be verified whether Joseph Ratzinger s liturgical theology is in continuity with Romano Guardini s thinking about the sacred liturgy. Thus, after a first reflection that seeks to recover the personality and thinking of Romano Guardini from the presentation of biographical data, the historical / theological context and the exposition and analysis of his classic liturgical work The Spirit of the Liturgy, the study develops in two successive approaches: the presentation and analysis of the principles addressed in the famous ratzingerian writing The Spirit of the Liturgy; and the comparative analysis of the theological texts already cited, in order to discover points of contact between the thought of both authors, which examine the hypothesis that part of Joseph Ratzinger s liturgical thought is built on foundations laid by Romano Guardini. The scope of this research is to contribute to a better dissemination and understanding of the liturgical theology of Joseph Ratzinger.

The main objective of this research is to analyze, although in general, why the catholic communities in Brazil did not find a satisfactory way in the liturgy, the source of their spirituality, even after the renewal of council with the promulgation of the constitution on the liturgy in 1963. This scientific research is justified by the deficiency of liturgical formation of the brazilian clergy even after the Second Vatican Council. The changes in the liturgy could not produce the expected results, in other words, a spiritual renovation of the liturgy in the minds and hearts of the priests. Many times they understood the liturgical constitution more like reform that renovation, a much more comprehensive aspect than reformer, because it requires a new style of liturgical life able to promote the active, full, conscious, fruitful and pious participation, which are requirements of own essence of liturgy. The primary hypothesis of this research indicates that the liturgical formation of clergy as vertex of problem in active participation in communities is deficient. His nonassimilation of the renewed liturgy affects communities, and this has direct involvement in the pastoral of the church. The theoretical research, a method followed in this work, comes to important results for the Church in Brazil: the priests are not yet imbued with the spirit and strength of the liturgy and its theological-liturgical training is weak, they had not caught the spirit of the liturgical renovation and many of them still remain on the periphery of the cult of the Christian mystery. They are bounded on liturgical rules, devotionals and celebrationshow; it misses initiation in the liturgical life and a better organization for an effective liturgical formation at the parish level / Esta dissertação, de autoria de Fábio de Souza Leão, traz como título: A formação litúrgica no Brasil a partir da Sacrosanctum Concilium.

Alfredo Ildefonso Schuster a Roma (1880 - 1929) / Alfredo Ildefonso Schuster in Rome (1880-1929)

NOBILI, ELENA 20 April 2011 (has links)
Alfredo Ildefonso Schuster (1880-1954) was a Benedictine monk at the Basilica of Saint-Paul-Outside-the-Walls in Rome and Archbishop of Milan from 1929 to 1954. During his stay in Rome he held high offices for both the Benedictine order and the Roman Curia thanks to Popes Pius X, Benedict XV and Pius XI. He provided decisive contributions to various fields: teacher at the Institute of Sacred Music, Consultor to the Sacred Congregation of Rites, President of the Pontifical Oriental Institute and President of the Commission for Sacred Art. Man with a highly sensitive personality, Cardinal Schuster got in touch with the European Benedictine community, promoted the Liturgical Movement and showed his openness to the Orthodox Church and the Jewish people. In the political field Schuster clearly stated the necessity of the State to admit the important social action carried on by the Church, while blaming interferences and abuses of both the Liberal and Fascist Government.

ADRIANO BERNAREGGI E IL RINNOVAMENTO DELLA CULTURA ECCLESIASTICA ITALIANA (1884 - 1932) / Adriano Bernareggi and italian ecclesiastical cultural renewal (1884-1932)

PERSICO, ALESSANDRO 12 April 2014 (has links)
The research focuses the role played by Adriano Bernareggi, priest in Milan, then bishop of Bergamo since 1932, in the renewal movement of ecclesiastical studies during the first three decades of the twentieth century. Trained at the Gregorian and Lateran Universities, in a climate marked by modernism and vatican reaction, Bernareggi taught at the seminary of Milan, from 1909 to 1932, and at the Catholic University, from 1922 to 1926. In these sites, he strove to give a modern response - not modernist – to the spiritual anxiety of modern man, through a new religious language, able to enhance Church history and, especially, its liturgy. Particular attention has been paid to: the teaching, including the attempt to promote an update of the Ratio Studiorum of the Theological Faculty, following lines that anticipated Deus Scientiarum Dominus; the direction of the magazine “La Scuola Cattolica”, that he attempted to transform in a national periodic of sacred sciences, to regenerate religious studies through the application of an historical perspective and critical-philological research method; the participation in the liturgical and artistic movement in Milan, looking to french teachings and Maria Laach, especially to rediscovery the initiation value of rites; the prevostship at St. Vittore al Corpo, a laboratory of a new “liturgical practice”; the role in the debate on the Roman Question and Conciliation.
