Lomma kommuns trygghetsvärdar

Maletic, Magdalena, Yas, Maya January 2018 (has links)
Regarding a collaboration agreement between Lomma municipality and the police authority in Lomma, a study has been requested. The study focuses on the question of whether the security hosts in the community contribute to reduced anxiety about burglary among the residents. To study this question twenty interviews were conducted with participants living on those specific streets which has been exposed to burglary. The interviews revealed that almost all the participants did not feel any reduced anxiety about burglary in the presence of security hosts. This because of other strategies among the participants that included safety systems, neighbourhood watch and the owning of a dog. However, all respondents concluded a positive view of the security hosts, yet with not much knowledge about their crime preventive methods.

Bergsten, Erik January 2014 (has links)
The focus of this two year master’s thesis in Library- and Information science is the study of two Swedish Public Library buildings with the examples Lomma and Halmstad. The main goal and purpose of the thesis is to try to uncover which views and values of the public library are expressed in the examined libraries; and to what extent these views manifests are shown in its architecture. The theoretical framework is based on Raymond Williams’s cultural concepts of effective, dominant culture and the two extremities of this culture, called residual and emergent cultures. A second aspect is Yi-Fu Tuans concepts of Space and Place. The study also uses a historical background of Swedish Public Library Buildings. By close reading and textual analyses, the empirical study focuses on the municipalities’ documents surrounding the building of the library buildings in Lomma and Halmstad. The architectural perspective is studied through the architects own documents and architectural journals discussing the built Library Buildings. Results show that the technological advances of the time these libraries were built has put them in a position of change, which also is visible in the architecture. The libraries in Lomma and Halmstad function as civic icons of the community and the architecture is very dependent of the places where they are situated. The expressions of the two libraries differ in details but the overall result show that the values exhibited behind the building of the examined libraries is a part of a historical residual culture, functioning as effective and dominant. The conclusion of the thesis is that the expression of the architecture is however a part of an emergent culture. The buildings aim to comprise the values and display the diverse causes in its architecture. The buildings seek to manifest the ideal activity and working of the modern Public Library.

Bergström, Annelie, Ekelund, Johanna January 2007 (has links)
The living- and working condition has changed dramatically in small countryside villages in Sweden during the last decade. Fjelie, a small village in the countryside of the southwest of Skåne, was in the beginning of the 20th century an active agricultural village with a railway station, groceries, a blacksmith, a post office and schools. Today there is almost no trace of the history and Fjelie makes a reserved impression to visitors. The purpose of this study is to explore Fjelies identity and physical environment. For longer terms the study might help to increase the attraction and development in the village. The purpose will be persued by means of a field study with observations, interviews, an einquiry and document analysis. The enquiry and interviews indicate that any alteration was questioned and that Fjelie has an invisible classification system that makes it difficult to establish a social unity in the village. But the results also showed that Fjelie has an interesting history and the majority of the citizens want to keep Fjelies smallness.
