The present research project is Crematto and it came from wanting to disprove the common relationship between healthy foods and high spending. The idea of Crematto is practically sell the idea of an artisan ice cream with exotic fruits that have an unusual flavor in an ice cream and, in addition, have high nutritional properties. The product will be offered to the market at a competitive price with a fast and efficient delivery. The income from the Crematto project will be obtained through the online sale of Artisan Ice Creams and the main costs are resources such as glass containers, fruit, and labor. To successfully develop this project, we established as main key partners the suppliers of fruit and glass containers. Crematto business model is aimed at people between 18 and 35 years old with a Socio-Economic Level A and B, with a modern, sophisticated, and adapted lifestyle, who clearly have good eating habits and some preferences for eco-friendly products. The lack of low-sugar exotic fruit desserts and the increasing demand and environmental responsibility of consumers allowed us to find an extremely attractive and interesting segment. At the Concierge, after posting the flavors that would be offered on social media, different followers of Crematto, today called “Cremattolovers,” began to comment and share the publication. Then we established our mission to provide the best option for a healthy exotic fruit ice cream and vision to be a national brand reference recognized for our ice cream with unconventional flavors. The last price determined per jar of healthy ice cream is 15 soles, which is less than that of the competition of any nature; However, in terms of flavors, we are not ahead, since Crematto has only five. After establishing objectives by area, we decided on our generic strategy, which is Differentiation because its main characteristic is that it is an alternative to ice cream with exotic flavors. / Trabajo de investigación

Dünnwandige, großformatige Fassadenelemente aus TextilbetonHegger, Josef, Schneider, Hartwig N., Kulas, Christian, Schätzke, Christian 03 June 2009 (has links)

Identification and characterization of gallium-binding peptidesSchönberger, Nora 23 April 2021 (has links)
The present work demonstrates how a peptide-based material can be obtained for the biosorptive recovery of metals from contaminated industrial wastewater. Starting with Phage surface display for the initial identification and optimization of gallium-binding peptides, all the following application-focussed experiments are based on chemically synthesized peptides.
Two chromatography-based biopanning methods for the identification of gallium-binding peptides from a commercial phage display library were developed. Five gallium-binding peptide sequences were identified and evaluated to show good gallium-binding properties.
Furthermore, the biosorption of free gallium and arsenic by gallium-binding bacteriophage clones was investigated. A large influence of the pH-value on the respective interactions was demonstrated.
Mutagenesis experiments were also carried out for a bacteriophage clone expressed peptide, in which a cysteine pair systematically replaced amino acids. Biosorption experiments with the resulting seven different bacteriophage mutants suggested a relationship between the rigidity of the peptide structure and the gallium-binding properties.
In isothermal titration experiments, the thermodynamics of the interaction between gallium and the peptides as chemically synthesized derivatives were characterized, independent of the bacteriophage. The peptides differed strongly in their interaction with gallium, and in some cases, the complex formation with gallium depended strongly on the surrounding buffer conditions.
The peptide with the amino acid sequence NYLPHQSSSPSR has particularly promising gallium-binding properties. Computer modeling suggests the probable structure of the peptide in aqueous solution and postulates a possible binding site for gallium.
The side-selective and covalent immobilization of the peptides on a polystyrene matrix led to the creation of a biocomposite for the biosorptive recovery of gallium. The sorption performance and desorbability of the peptide-based biosorption materials were determined in studies with model solutions and real waters from the semiconductor industry.

Souvislost fyzické atraktivity a péče o vzhled / Relation between Physical Attractiveness and Grooming"Marečková, Jana January 2012 (has links)
Physical attractiveness plays an important role in many aspects of our lives. The aim of this study is to reveal what is the correlation between rating of physical attractiveness made by oneself and by others, and personal grooming. The relation between self-rating of overall physical attractiveness and its rating made by others (using photographs) and connection between these ratings and personal grooming were examined on the basis of a heterogeneous sample of 43 women and 32 men. These ratings of overall attractiveness, face attractiveness and body attractiveness were provided by 34 judges (each time 17 males and 17 females) different for every variable. Our results showed a positive relation between participant's self-rating of overall physical attractiveness and its rating made by others. Further analyses proved that rating of overall physical attractiveness was positively associated both with facial and body attractiveness for both sexes. With regard to women, a correlation between self-rating of physical attractiveness and reduced care of body shape and eyebrow was revealed; regarding men, self-rating correlated with reduced care of body shape, hair, fingernails and less care for outfit was shown. Concerning female participants, no relation between rating of overall physical attractiveness...

Teknikutrymmen på yttertak : Stommaterialets påverkan på materialkostnaden och byggtiden / Plant rooms on roofs : The impact of the structural material on the material cost and construction timeDu, Jenny, Sjögren, Freja January 2018 (has links)
The construction industry is constantly striving for efficiency and optimization that can reduce a project’s construction cost and construction time. The construction of plant rooms built on roofs is perceived by both structural engineers and project managers as a step in the production that has a big construction cost and a long construction time. A plant room on a roof has other conditions compared to the rest of the building, which can slow down production and the construction time is therefore extended. One condition that separates the plant room from the building is that the plant room’s outer walls require an offset from the facade of the building. This leads to the plantroom’s outer walls not necessarily lining up with the underlying vertical structure. The loads that go down through the plant room’s outer walls create point loads on the plant room’s slab. The point loads could make the slab need strengthening, which is both costly and time-consuming. An investigation into the material of the structural frame's impact on the construction cost and construction time has been carried out. The aim of the investigation is to analyze which structural material is optimal with regards to cost, time and structural capacity. In the investigation three materials were analyzed by the conditions and requirements from a reference project. The chosen materials were a steel frame as well as light elements made from timber and concrete. The result shows that lightweight elements made from timber are the most economic option and concrete is the most time-efficient option. The conclusion is that the optimal structural material for the reference project is concrete.
