Kryptoanalýza šifer používaných v GSM telefonech / Cryptanalysis of ciphers used in GSM phones

Barboriková, Jana January 2012 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to introduce the family of A5 algorithm which is used in data encryption and decryption in GSM phones. It is focused on real time cryptanalysis of the stream cipher A5/1. It describes in detail the known plaintext attack published by A. Biryukov, A. Shamir and D. Wagner. Both the attack and the cipher are implemented. The implementation proves that the preprocessing stage of the attack is very time consuming, but the actual attack can be carried out in real time on a single PC. Then the problem of finding a good statistical model for the process of generating tree of predecessors of internal states of A5/1 is studied. We present reasons why the singletype Galton-Watson process is not suitable for the problem and introduce a multitype Galton-Watson process and a macro process. The models are applied to the process of generating predecessors and their predictions are compared with experimental data.

Ekstrakcija, sastav, delovanje i moguće primene odabranih vrsta pečuraka / Extraction, content, activity and possible applications of selected mushroom species

Vidović Senka 30 May 2011 (has links)

Najveći sadržaj ukupnih fenolnih jedinjenja određen je u suvom ekstraktu pečurke C. pistillaris, najveći sadržaj ukupnih flavonoida u ekstraktu D. confragosa, a najviše esencijalnog cinka i selena sadrži suvi ekstrakt pečurke B. edulis.
/
Using 50% ethanol and supercritical carbon dioxide different mushroom extracts were prepared. After analysis of extraction yield, content of total phenols and total flavonoids, content of macro-elements and micro-elements, as well as content of adenosine and characteristic compounds (pistilarin and variegatic acid) were determined. Highest content od total phenols was determined in C. pistillaris extract, highest content of total flavonoids in D. confragosa and highest content of essential zinc and selenium in B. edulis dry extract. In comparsion to other extracts L. saccatum posses few time higher content of adenosine. Antioxidat activity was analysed by spectrophotometric and EPR methods. Extracts of C. pistillaris, B. edulis and A. mellea have been showed as a most efficient in scavenging of dangerous OH˙ radical. In lipid peroxidation prevention significant were mushrooms extracts of B. edulis, A. mellea and L. saccatum.
After determination of mushrooms supercritical extraction yield, fatty acid composition and sterol components were analysed. Dominant unsaturated fatty acid in investigated mushroom extracts was linoleic acid. Content of oleic fatty acid was also significant. Dominant compound of sterol structure, in almost all supercritical extracts, was ergosterole. Influence of supercritical mushroom extracts on eritrocite membrane fluidity was investigated. Acording to obtained results, mushrooms A. mellea and M. procera could have significant role in antihypertensive diet.

Att arbeta strukturellt : Med världen som arbetsfält / To work with a struktural approach : In a global context

Lind, Sara, Zakrison, Rebecca January 2013 (has links)

Readjusting Historical Credit Ratings : using Ordered Logistic Regression and Principal ComponentAnalysis

Cronstedt, Axel, Andersson, Rebecca January 2018 (has links)
Readjusting Historical Credit Ratings using Ordered Logistic Re-gression and Principal Component Analysis The introduction of the Basel II Accord as a regulatory document for creditrisk presented new concepts of credit risk management and credit risk mea-surements, such as enabling international banks to use internal estimates ofprobability of default (PD), exposure at default (EAD) and loss given default(LGD). These three measurements is the foundation of the regulatory capitalcalculations and are all in turn based on the bank’s internal credit ratings. Ithas hence been of increasing importance to build sound credit rating modelsthat possess the capability to provide accurate measurements of the credit riskof borrowers. These statistical models are usually based on empirical data andthe goodness-of-fit of the model is mainly depending on the quality and sta-tistical significance of the data. Therefore, one of the most important aspectsof credit rating modeling is to have a sufficient number of observations to bestatistically reliable, making the success of a rating model heavily dependenton the data collection and development state. The main purpose of this project is to, in a simple but efficient way, createa longer time series of homogeneous data by readjusting the historical creditrating data of one of Svenska Handelsbanken AB’s credit portfolios. Thisreadjustment is done by developing ordered logistic regression models thatare using independent variables consisting of macro economic data in separateways. One model uses macro economic variables compiled into principal com-ponents, generated through a Principal Component Analysis while all othermodels uses the same macro economic variables separately in different com-binations. The models will be tested to evaluate their ability to readjust theportfolio as well as their predictive capabilities.

Zabot, Milene 17 March 2003 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2010-04-20T20:51:09Z (GMT). / This study had as purpose to identify and describe the strategy process of two major retailers from the point of view of deliberate strategy, pointing out the main characteristics, models and theoretical tools applicable to empirical cases. .Thus, a qualitative, essentially descriptive research was performed, approaching a case study with Makro Atacadista and Wal-Mart. It was observed that Makro's strategy process is distinguished for being formal, conscious, systematic, continuous and organized, and following a well-defined sequence of predetermined stages. The strategic agents are the company's Directors and the strategy is made explicit through plans and programs. At WalMart, strategy formulation undergoes a conception process where the leader (President of the company) plays a criticai role. The model is simple and informal and the strategies are implemented through an institutionalization processo In both cases, strategy formulation precedes implementation, where the President and the Directors are responsible for its formulation while their subordinates perform its implementation. The analytic tools proposed by some theorists of deliberate strategy are not used in these cases and the competitors' analysis is made based on intuition. Besides, there is no standard strategy model for the surveyed companies. Each of them imposes its own organizational peculiarities on the strategy processo It was observed that the deliberate process generates integration and unity among the companies' employees, since they are ali aligned with a common focus. It was verified further that the companies' technological system is very important for their strategy processes, particularly as regards the strategic control. Finally, the study made from the point of view of deliberate strategy showed up to be extremely important, since, as otherwise argued by some theorists, particularly Mintzberg, empirical strategy processes proved to be essentially deliberate.

Makropraxe jako dosud opomíjený element v české sociální práci / Macropraxis as the still neglected element in the Czech social work

Zavřel, Petr January 2013 (has links)
Diploma thesis analyses the macro practice in the Czech social work. It defines macro practical concept and its relationship to social policy and community social work by analysing the Czech and foreign specialized publications. It defines the key knowledge, skills and abilities which macro practicioner should manage. It emphasizes the macro scope towards the political representation. Macro practical methods are presented too. Diploma thesis defines two main principles - networking and evidence based practice. At first, macro practicioner is the creator of professional's networks or social services network. Secondly, in the evidence based practice macro practicioner is obligated to manage his decision making process on the base of the best and the most recent scientific researches. It all concludes the macro practice framework, which leads to the efective work with social excluded people. Macro practice is viewed as the approach, which helps clients, communities, regions and target groups in the implementation of their civil right, when it uses the enpowerment techniques. According to the international perspective, the status of the actual Czech macro practice is vieved as unconsolted. Therefore, author proposes the development of the social work education on the bachelor and master degrese...
