Assim, mediante a necessidade da melhoria da qualidade da educação no estado, especificamente nas escolas estaduais do polo do Cefapro de Juara, buscou-se identificar, nesta análise, os fatores que contribuíram para essa melhoria, investigando e mapeando as ações gestoras pedagógicas, imbuídas dos projetos educativos que foram implementados entre os anos de 2008 a 2013, no intuito de compreender de que forma o trabalho do gestor exerceu efeitos nos resultados alcançados. A pesquisa, de abordagem qualitativa, se valeu de entrevistas semiestruturadas como instrumental de coleta de dados, realizadas com a equipe gestora da referida escola, com o membro do seu Conselho Deliberativo da Comunidade Escolar (CDCE) e com uma diretora que atuou nas gestões anteriores. Além disso, foi utilizada a observação in loco e a análise documental. Para avaliação da realidade vivenciada, este estudo foi respaldado por teorias que discutem o papel do gestor ao longo dos anos, em uma reflexão sobre quais ações o gestor deve promover na atualidade, iniciando um processo de percepção com vistas à ampliação da postura participativa e pedagógica dos gestores Com o intuito de socializar e divulgar os fatores encontrados na análise dos dados, além de possibilitar a aprendizagem das ações que desencadearam práticas educacionais que se fizeram exitosas na escola e aprimorar as que se mostraram necessárias, foi proposto um Plano de Intervenção Educacional, dirigido à Secretaria de Educação do Estado. / The present dissertation aimed to analyze which factors led the Manuel Bandeira School (fictional name) to change its position as one of the worsts elementary schools in the city Juara/MT, in the early 1990s, in terms of the quality of teaching and academic achievent of its students, to the school with the highest Development Index of Basic Education (IDEB), in the year 2011, in the state of Mato Grosso. Therefore, by means of the improvement in the quality of education in the state, specifically in the state schools of the Cefapro hub of Juara, we aimed to identify, in this analysis, the factors that contributed to such improvement, investigating and mapping out the pedagogical management actions imbued with educational projects which were implemented between 2008 and 2013, as we intend to comprehend in which manner the manager‘s work impacted the reached results. The research, of qualitative approach, drew from semi-structured interviews as a data gathering instrument, conducted with the management team of such school, with the member of its CDCE and with the principal who managed previous mandates, as well as in loco observation and documental analysis. In order to analyze the reality experienced, we found basis in theories that discuss the role of the manager nowadays, beginning a process of perception aimed at magnifying the participative and pedagogical position of the managers. Aiming to socialize and divulge such factors, besides learning the actions that set in motion the educational practices which proved successful in the school, and improving the ones that needed, we proposed an Educational Intervention Plan, directed to the State Education Secretariat.

Uplatnění konceptu diversity managementu v základních školách ve Středočeském kraji / Applying the concept of diversity management in primary schools in the Central Bohemian Region

1 ABSTRACT The master thesis deals with the application of the concept of diversity management. Its objective is to determine the degree of implementation of diversity management in selected primary schools in the Central Bohemian Region. The theoretical part describes the theoretical knowledge about diversity and diversity management, their importance, classifiction of every type and description of the implementation of diversity management in organization with possible connections to the schools. The theoretical part constitutes a knowledge base for the practical part, which presents the results of a survey conducted per an online questionnaire electronic forms and personal interviews with the directresses and the directors of elementary schools. The investigation of internal documents was conducted in schools of the directresses and directors in the last stage of the research process. The results of the research and conclusions presented in the thesis show a current report on the degree of implementation of diversity management in primary schools of the Central Bohemian Region, provide the description of a current situation and conclude in recommendations, while revealing the most common weak points, obstacles and aspects discouraging from the implementation of diversity management and their availability...

A management training course was' evaluated for effectiveness by using two specially compiled in-basket exercises equivalent in complexity. Outcome evaluation was performed so as to determine whether learning transfer took place, ie whether management skills in the application of the management dimensions planning, organising and control do manifest in the work context afterwards. Significant differences were found between the experimental group and the control group in the application of the management dimensions planning, organising and control. These differences were investigated by means of the "Univariate procedure ... A management training course can therefore be effectively measured with the behaviour assessment approach by using two groups, where only one group is exposed to a management training course. It can thus be ascertained whether a change in management behaviour has taken place as a result of learning transfer. / Die effektiwiteit van 'n bestuursopleidingskursus is geevalueer deur twee spesiaal saamgestelde posmandjies van dieselfde moeilikheidsgraad te gebruik. Uitkomsevaluering is gedoen om te bepaal of leeroordrag plaasgevind het, met ander woorde of die nuut aangeleerde bestuursvaardighede in die toepassing van die bestuursdimensies beplanning, organisering en beheer wei na die tyd in die konteks van werksgedrag manifesteer. Beduidende verskille tussen die eksperimentele en die kontrolegroep is gevind in die toe passing van die bestuursdimensies beplanning, organisering en beheer. Die verskille is ondersoek met behulp van die "univariate procedure". Die persoonlikheidskenmerke verwant aan die veranderlikes is bepaal en geintegreer. Die empiriese ondersoek is binne die funksionalistiese paradigma aangebied. Die gekose meetinstrumente, naamlik die Bestuursvaardigheidsinventaris vir die meet van bestuursukses en die Persoonlike Orientasie-inventaris vir die meet van selfaktualisering is op 'n ewekansige steekproef van 51 middelvlakbestuurders afgeneem. Die betroubaarheid van die Bestuursvaardigheids- inventaris is met behulp van die "Cronbach Alpha Coeffisient"- metode bepaal. Om te bepaal of selfaktualisering 'n voorspeller van bestuursukses is, is stapsgewyse regressieontledings gedoen. Die resultate dui daarop dat die ondersteuningsratio (innerlike orientasie) bestuursukses beduidend voorspel, sowel as 12 van die 18 kenmerke eie aan bestuursukses onderskeidelik. / This research deals with self-actualization as predictor of management success. In the literature review, management success as the dependent variable and self-actualization as independent variable, is conceptualized and operationalized within the humanistic paradigm. The personality chracteristics inhirent in the variables were determined and integrated. The empirical investigation is presented within the functionalistic paradigm. The chosen measuring instruments, namely the Management Skills Inventory for the measurement of management success and the Personal Orientation Inventory for the measurement of self-actualization were administrated by means of random sampling to 51 middle level managers. The reliability qf the Management Skills Inventory was determined by means of the "Cronbach Alpha CoEHfisient"- method. To determine if selfactualization is a predictor of Management Success, stepwise regression analysis was done. The results indicate that the support ratio (inner directedness) predicts management success significantly, as well as 12 of the 18 personality characteristics inherent in management success, respectively. / Psychology / M.A. (Industrial Psychology)
