Previous issue date: 2018-03-12 / The medicalization process has been growing over the years in modern society. In
general, the concept of medicalization has been used in several studies to deal with
a phenomenon that has traditionally had the general sense of reducing social and
political problems in private and individual problems. This present aims to analyze
the contemporary expressions of medicalization in adolescents in conflict with the
law. Taking as a starting point the studies on the biopolitics of the population of
Michel Foucault and the reflections of authors like Cristian Dunker and Vladmir
Safatle on the expansion of diagnostic categories, these work seeks to understand
how the medical and psychiatric discourses are being used by legal knowledge as
instrument of normalization, arbitrary social control and management of adolescents
who commit an infraction. / O processo de medicaliza??o tem sido uma crescente com o passar dos anos na
sociedade moderna. De forma geral, o conceito de medicaliza??o aparece em
diversos estudos para tratar de um fen?meno que teve, tradicionalmente, o sentido
geral de reduzir problemas sociais e pol?ticos a problemas privados e individuais. O
presente trabalho tem como objetivo analisar as express?es contempor?neas da
medicaliza??o no ?mbito dos adolescentes em conflito com a lei. Tomando como
ponto de partida os estudos sobre a biopol?tica da popula??o, de Michel Foucault, e
as reflex?es de autores como Cristian Dunker e Vladmir Safatle sobre a expans?o
das categorias diagn?sticas, este trabalho busca perceber como os discursos
m?dicos e psiqui?tricos est?o sendo utilizados pelo saber jur?dico como instrumento
de normaliza??o, controle social arbitr?rio e gest?o dos adolescentes autores de ato
infracional.

de produzir normaliza??o social. Para tanto, foi feita uma an?lise da trajet?ria dessa droga, de
discursos proferidos publicamente pelos seus usu?rios e uma autorreflex?o ancorada nos
efeitos objetivos da Ritalina no corpo do pesquisador. H? um confrontamento entre o discurso
largamente difundido de que esse f?rmaco produz obedi?ncia ?s normas sociais, e o material
emp?rico que tive contato ao longo da pesquisa. Esse psicof?rmaco de efeito estimulante ?
uma das drogas mais consumidas no mundo e tamb?m uma das que re?nem o maior n?mero
de cr?ticas e controv?rsias. Denominado popularmente como a p?lula da obedi?ncia, est?
associado diretamente ? medicaliza??o de crian?as em ambiente escolar e j? foi acusado de
poder produzir um genoc?dio do futuro. S?o diferenciados aqui dois usos dessa droga: o das
pessoas que possuem o diagn?stico de Transtorno de D?ficit de Aten??o e Hiperatividade
(TDAH), e aquele dos que utilizam Ritalina como um ?aprimorador cognitivo? que maximiza
a concentra??o em atividades de estudo. A partir de uma investiga??o com base na hist?ria
desse f?rmaco, nas declara??es de seus usu?rios em dois endere?os eletr?nicos, e na
experi?ncia do pesquisador, evidenciou-se uma rede de rela??es heterog?neas que envolvem o
consumo de Ritalina e que insistentemente t?m sido caracterizadas como normalizadas ou
obedientes. / This dissertation presents a historical and sociological research about Ritalin's ability to
produce social normalization. Therefore, an analysis was made of the trajectory of this drug,
of speeches publicly pronounced by its users and a self-reflection anchored in the objective
effects of Ritalin on the researcher's body. There is a comparison between the widely-used
speech that this drug produces obedience to social norms, and the empirical material that I had
contact throughout the research. This psychotropic drug is one of the most consumed in the
world, and also one that brings together the most criticism and controversy. Popularly called
as the pill of obedience, is directly associated with medicalization of children at school and
has been accused of being able to produce a genocide of the future. Two uses of this drugs are
distinguished here: the people who have the diagnosis of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity
Disorder (ADHD), and those who use ritalin as a cognitive enhancer which maximizes the
concentration in study activities. From an investigation based on the history of this drug, in
the declarations of its users on two electronic addresses, and in the researcher's experience, a
network of heterogeneous relations involving the consumption of Ritalin was evidenced, even
though insistently have been characterized as normalized or obedient.

Previous issue date: 2017-07-12 / CAPES / This work seeks to discuss the issue of teacher illness in light of the definition of medicalization of life proposed by Conrad (1992, 2007). For the author, this is a process in which everyday instances of life come to be claimed by the discourse of medicine, generally adopting diagnostic terms. Burnout syndrome is used as the conceptual operator due to the emergence of studies that associate this syndrome with the educational context. In the bibliographic review the researches on the topic of medicalization and Burnout Syndrome in the teaching category are highlighted. There is no consensus in the literature regarding the concept of medicalization, so that Conrad's perspective is privileged to highlight the sociocultural role. The context of the teaching sickness is problematized through works that discuss the historical changes occurred in the Brazilian educational scene, besides addressing the social and political influences on the work. Particular emphasis is given to the issue of neoliberalism and how it has contributed to new forms of relationship in the world of work. From the foucaultian perspective, the manifestation of Burnout is analyzed with the constituency of the teacher in the network of power relations, contextualizing its environment, marked by the social, political, economic and historical events of contemporary western society. Finally, the phenomenon of teaching sickness is taken as an analyzer of the present modes of subjectivation, praising the possibility of this being taken as resistance. / Este trabalho busca discutir o tema do adoecimento docente ? luz da defini??o de medicaliza??o da vida proposta por Conrad (1992; 2007). Para o autor, este ? um processo no qual inst?ncias cotidianas da vida passam a ser reivindicadas pelo discurso da medicina, geralmente adotando-se termos diagn?sticos. Utiliza-se como operador conceitual a S?ndrome de Burnout devido ? emerg?ncia de trabalhos que associam tal s?ndrome ao contexto educacional. Na revis?o bibliogr?fica s?o destacadas as pesquisas em torno do tema da medicaliza??o e da S?ndrome de Burnout na categoria docente. N?o h? um consenso na literatura a respeito do conceito de medicaliza??o, de modo que a perspectiva de Conrad ? privilegiada por evidenciar o papel sociocultural. O contexto do adoecimento docente ? problematizado atrav?s de trabalhos que discutem as mudan?as hist?ricas ocorridas no cen?rio educacional brasileiro, al?m de abordar a respeito das influ?ncias sociais e pol?ticas sobre o trabalho. D?-se especial destaque ? quest?o do neoliberalismo e como ele contribuiu para as novas formas de rela??o no mundo do trabalho. A partir da perspectiva foucaultiana, a manifesta??o do Burnout ? analisada com a circunscri??o do professor na rede de rela??es de poder, contextualizando o seu meio, marcado que ? pelos eventos sociais, pol?ticos, econ?micos e hist?ricos da sociedade ocidental contempor?nea. Por fim, o fen?meno do adoecimento docente ? tomado como analisador dos atuais modos de subjetiva??o, enaltecendo a possibilidade deste ser tomado como resist?ncia.

Previous issue date: 2017-03-15 / The Specialized Educational Assistance is a service from Special Education that identifies,
prepares and organizes resources which help disabled students to overcome the difficulties
that arise during the educational process in regular schools. In addition, it allows students to
be attended in their specificities to build their identity from the confrontation with the
differences and the coexistence with the other. The aim of this work is to carry out an
exploratory study on the modalities of specialized educational service provided by private
schools in the Federal District to students diagnosed with Attention Hyperactivity Disorder
(ADHD) and investigate how this service is being carried out in schools of the private
education network. Based on the theoretical framework and literature review, a qualitative
research was conducted, with a semi-structured interview, and the data collection was done in
seven private schools in Federal District, in the perspective of the inclusion of students with
ADHD, whose participants were Counselors and/or Academic Advisors. The work consisted
in an investigation of the strategies that are used in each one of these schools in the
specialized educational assistance, as well as the factors that hamper the inclusion and
learning of those students with ADHD. Also, some issues were discussed such as
medicalization of students with this diagnosis, curricular adaptations, family participation,
orientation for teachers, continued formation and the contributions that psychoanalysis can
bring to professionals who work with these students in order to help them to rethink their
practice. By analysing the data, were presented the general characteristics of the sample and
the conceptions and practices in the Specialized Educational Assistance in private schools of
the Federal District, whose main results point to the need for greater compliance in private
schools with the laws that refer to Inclusion, including the implementation of educational
strategies that improve the learning of students with ADHD, as well as greater investment and
care in the continued formation of the teachers who will work with these students. / O Atendimento Educacional Especializado ?? um servi??o da Educa????o Especial que identifica,
elabora e organiza recursos que ajudam os alunos com defici??ncia a superarem as dificuldades
que se apresentam ao longo do processo educativo em escolas regulares. Al??m disso,
possibilita que o aluno seja atendido em suas especificidades para que possa construir a sua
identidade a partir dos confrontos com as diferen??as e da conviv??ncia com o outro. O objetivo
deste trabalho ?? realizar um estudo explorat??rio sobre as modalidades de atendimento
educacional especializado prestado por escolas particulares do Distrito Federal aos alunos
com diagn??stico de Transtorno de D??ficit de Aten????o e Hiperatividade - TDA/H e investigar
como este atendimento est?? sendo realizado em escolas da rede particular de ensino. Com
base no estudo te??rico e revis??o da literatura, foi realizada uma pesquisa de natureza
qualitativa, com entrevista semiestruturada e levantamento de dados em sete escolas
particulares do Distrito Federal, na perspectiva da inclus??o de alunos com Transtorno de
D??ficit de Aten????o e Hiperatividade ??? TDA/H, cujos participantes eram Orientadores
Educacionais e/ou Pedag??gicos. O trabalho consistiu em uma investiga????o das estrat??gias que
s??o utilizadas em cada uma dessas escolas no atendimento educacional especializado, bem
como dos fatores que dificultam a inclus??o escolar e a aprendizagem desses alunos com
TDA/H. Tamb??m foram discutidos temas como a medicaliza????o de alunos com esse
diagn??stico, adapta????es curriculares, participa????o da fam??lia, orienta????es aos professores,
forma????o continuada e as contribui????es que a psican??lise pode trazer aos profissionais que
atuam com esses alunos, de modo a auxili??-los a repensarem a sua pr??tica. Na an??lise dos
dados foram apresentadas as caracter??sticas gerais da amostra e as concep????es e pr??ticas no
Atendimento Educacional Especializado em escolas particulares do DF, cujos principais
resultados apontam para a necessidade de que haja uma maior observ??ncia, nas escolas
particulares, das leis que se referem ?? inclus??o, incluindo a implementa????o de estrat??gias
educacionais que favore??am o aprendizado de alunos com TDA/H, bem como maior
investimento e cuidado na forma????o continuada dos professores que atuar??o com esses
alunos.
