Systém vzdáleného monitorování teploty / Remote temperature monitoring system

Gál, Radek January 2018 (has links)
This project describes the design of a system for remote temperature monitoring of stored a more commodities quantity for the horse-breeding. The main task of this system is the early alert before the fire developed to the spontaneous combustion and continuous monitoring of the quality and safety this commodities. The main module communicates with several autonomous temperature sensors, which are located in multiplie locations. The measured values can be stored on an internal memory, displayed on the display and transmitted with the Ethernet network to the client computer, where it is possible this temperatures to view with in the user program and graphs.

Přípravek pro emulaci senzorů / Sensor emulation tool

Gromeš, Jan January 2020 (has links)
The goal of this thesis is design of platform capable of sensor output emulation. The platform allows to emulate either digital sensors, communicating over UART, SPI, I2C, CAN and RS-485 buses, or analog sensors and sensors with frequency output. Design of computer interface to configure the platform is also a part of the thesis. Special emphasis is placed on the universality and overall user-friendliness of the entire system.

Zařízení pro monitorování teploty a vlhkosti s bezdrátovým přenosem dat / Temperature and humidity monitoring devices with wirelless communication

Horváth, Michal January 2020 (has links)
The diploma thesis is about designing device which monitors temperature and humidity. In the first part of thesis are explained basic terms, importance of key variables and on market offered products are described. After that the thesis describes device concept design with schematic designs. From designed schematics are described printed circuit board designs. Next part is about device commissioning and correction of errors caused by incorrect design. Last part is about program designing and device testing.

Systém zabezpečení včelích úlů před nepovolenou manipulací / Beehive security system against unauthorized manipulation

Milota, Martin January 2021 (has links)
This master thesis deals with the design of beehive security system against unauthorized manipulation. The system uses LoRaWAN wireless communication technology for data transmission. The device records the movement of the beehive using an accelerometer and then locates the beehive using a GPS module. The low-energy system works via a battery-powered ESP32 microcontroller and is located on a beehive. The battery is charged using a solar panel. The system can be modularly expanded with additional sensors to monitor the condition of the bees. The device has been tested in practice, where it has been confirmed that it meets the required properties for securing beehives.

Návrh regulovatelného ohřevu spřádací hlavy a dohřevu vláken s řízeným prouděním vzduchu pro zařízení k odstředivému spřádání nanovláken / Design of controllable heating of the spinning head and reheating of fibers with controlled air flow for devices for centrifugal spinning of nanofibers

Janošík, Lukáš January 2021 (has links)
This Master thesis deals with the design and implementation of the spinning head heating for the fibers manufacturing. The first part of this thesis compares the problems of spinning head heating by means of radiant heat and electromagnetic induction. The next part of the thesis deals with the design and implementation of the selected induction heating of the spinning head together with its partial peripherals. The thesis continues with the design of a controlled air flow through the chambre and design of reheating fibers. In the following part of the thesis, functionality tests and partial measurements are performed on the device. At the end, the measurement results are evaluated and compared.

Jednosměrná sériová komunikace laserem na větší vzdálenost / One-way serial laser communication over longer distances

Valent, Adam January 2021 (has links)
The subject of this thesis is the construction of one-way communication device. This device consists of the transmitter and the receiver, both of which are connected to its respective computer via USB interface. This device allows sending UTF-8 characters or files from one computer to another. Both computers are running a graphical user interface program. The core of a transmitter is a digital signal modulating laser diode. The receiver is made of photovoltaic panel with a resonance circuit and an amplifier. Communication between the electronics and the computer is driven by microcontrollers. Received messages are verified with one of multiple error detection algorithms, which can be selected by user in the utility program.

NÁVRH AUTOMATICKÉ PIPETOVACÍ HLAVY NA PRINCIPU PERISTALTICKÉHO ČERPADLA / DESIGN OF AUTOMATIC PIPETTING HEAD ON THE PRINCIPLE OF PERISTALTIC PUMP

Čížek, Petr January 2021 (has links)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to design and create a prototype of automatic pipetting head that will be useful for pipetting in laboratories after attaching it to a robotic manipulator. In the beginning, a research about various types of automatic pipetting heads was made followed by a device design and component analysis. The prototype was made using 3D printing method and it utilises a peristaltic pump, Arduino microcontroller and Bluetooth interface. A measurement of repeatability and dispensing accuracy was made on the finished device. The results are evaluated in the conclusion.

Twill: A Hybrid Microcontroller-FPGA Framework for Parallelizing Single- Threaded C Programs

Gallatin, Douglas S. 01 March 2014 (has links)
Increasingly System-On-A-Chip platforms which incorporate both micropro- cessors and re-programmable logic are being utilized across several fields ranging from the automotive industry to network infrastructure. Unfortunately, the de- velopment tools accompanying these products leave much to be desired, requiring knowledge of both traditional embedded systems languages like C and hardware description languages like Verilog. We propose to bridge this gap with Twill, a truly automatic hybrid compiler that can take advantage of the parallelism inherent in these platforms. Twill can extract long-running threads from single threaded C code and distribute these threads across the hardware and software domains to more fully utilize the asymmetric characteristics between processors and the embedded reconfigurable logic fabric. We show that Twill provides a sig- nificant performance increase on the CHStone benchmarks with an average 1.63 times increase over the pure hardware approach and an increase of 22.2 times on average over the pure software approach while reducing the area required by the reconfigurable logic by on average 1.73 times compared to the pure hardware approach.
