Modifikace standardizované metodiky řízení projektů ve vybraném podniku

Szlauer, Ladislav January 2017 (has links)
The thesis is focused on analyzing the current situation of project management in the company FORMSERVIS, Ltd., identifying and proposing methods for its improvement. While modifying a standardized project management methodology, the use of appropriate software for project management and its benefits is emphasized. The methodology for modification of project management support with regard to the nature of its activities and the availability of relevant data is proposed on the basis of the literature review. In the practical part, an assessment of the current situation is performed and the form of implementation of the new standard is designed. As the most suitable method PRINCE2 methodology is selected with the use of MS Project software. The possible problems and advantages of standardization of project management in the company are summarized and evaluated in the discussion and conclusion.

Κάντζαρη, Μαρία 27 July 2010 (has links)
The present work presents the mathematic background of project management. The complexity of all undertaking, has led to the growth of one of intersectorial branch with base the Operational Research. In the first chapter are given the necessary definitions, while in second is recorded the historical development of project management. In the third chapter is given the approach of problem via the reticular analysis. The fourth chapter deals with the method of PERT, which with the help of Theory of Probabilities appreciates per year finalization of work via parked means. For this aim becomes comparison of various affairs for the distributions of years of finalization of individual activities. In the project management important role for the achievement of objectives plays the efficient exploitation of available resources. Thus, in the fifth chapter is presented the method of critical path (CPM) for the estimate of most optimal relation of time-cost of project. The chapter is completed with a report in the use of linear model in the project management. Follows the resolution of hypothetical but realistic problem with the use of software Microsoft Project 2007© in step with its directives of use.

Studie průběhu zakázky podnikem / The Study of Order Processing Through Enterprise

Farníková, Jana January 2013 (has links)
This thesis focusses on how a specific order is processed in a specific company. The analysis is more specifically focussed on heat meters, which make up a substantial part of the company sales. Evaluation and Comparison of Project Scheduling Methods and Software Used in the Construction Industry

Parlak, Mehmet 12 August 2016 (has links)
The objectives of this thesis are to evaluate scheduling methods and most common construction project management software (CPMS) which are Primavera and MS Project, and to determine most widely used project scheduling techniques and CPMS with a survey. The thesis focus on project scheduling since it is very deterministic for project success. Evaluation results indicate that, Gantt Chart Method and PDM are useful for small to medium projects, CPM is for complex projects, PERT is for uncertain projects, and LOB Technique is for repetitive projects. The comparison between Primavera and MS Project show that Primavera is more robust, professional, and detailed while MS Project is cheaper and easier. The survey was completed with 22 participants from construction companies in the US and Turkey and the results demonstrate CPM and Gantt Chart Method are the most common methods. Also, MS Project is the most widely used CPMS followed by the Primavera.

Supporting Interaction Designers through the Accomplishment Support Tool: IxD Companion

Cotoranu, Alexandru January 2012 (has links)
This thesis paper addresses a problem of motivation that interaction designers experience when managing multiple design processes while keeping track of many design considerations. Once this issue is described at length, the paper focuses towards a possible solution in the form of a hybrid between creativity and productivity support tools: an accomplishment support tool. This tool is meant to support interaction designers in their experience with managing multiple processes. This paper does not suggest that interaction design is the only profession that suffers from the motivation issue that is described, nor does it deny that other professions could benefit from the use of such a tool. The paper merely attempts to narrow the issue down to one profession so that it may be addressed within the limits of the thesis project. The paper explores the need for such a tool by inspecting and analyzing current methods and digital applications used by interaction designers and mentions how this need is addressed with solutions based on relevant theories from diverse areas of interest. As defining qualities emerge from a combination of theoretical and practical research, case studies are described from a preparation perspective and then as experienced by workshop participants and interviewees. The case studies (which include workshops and prototype modules) are then reflected upon and discussed in terms of their impact on the overall goals of the thesis project. A final prototype in the form of a web application, IxD Companion, is then described through scenarios of use and assessed in the conclusion. Suggestion to future work on accomplishment support tools such as IxD Companion, as well as others, is provided at the end.
