Hodnocení hrubé motoriky a koordinace u dětí mladšího školního věku / The evaluation of gross motor function and coordination in primary school children

Kuběnová, Jana January 2014 (has links)
Title: The evaluation of gross motor function and coordination in primary school children Defining the issue: The physical activity and sport are highly discussed topics in current time. The physical activity itself has a positive effect on our body in many ways, on the contrary the lack of it has a negative effect. In the younger school age there should be a diversity of physical activity and it should often vary. If, in this period of age, the physical activity would be in the form of specialized sport training with dominant asymetric load without any compensating activity, the effect of that training would be probably negative and even harming for the growing body of young children, who are not prepared for that type of burden. To ensure an adequate development of specific skills and gaits the appropriate level of gross motor function and coordination is required. The evaluation of such movement features after reaching bipedal locometion is mediocre at best and the current test batteries are limited in application. For these reasons the goal was to create new battery of tests and use it to evaluate the gross motor function and coordination in primary school children and assessment of the impact of gender and extracurricular activity on the results. The purpose of the study: The purpose of this...

Využití testové baterie MABC-2 k hodnocení úrovně motoriky sportovních gymnastek / Use the MABC - 2 test battery to measure sport motor gymnastics

PLAVCOVÁ, Adéla January 2019 (has links)
The graduation thesis is focused on the evaluation in motoric skills of sports gymnasts (n=18) aged between 7 to 10 years. The whole study took place in České Budějovice in the Merkur center with the support of a gymnastic team. For this experiment was used the methody called "MABC-2 formula" (Movement Assessment Battery for Children 2nd edition). The MABC-2 test is a standardized test that verifies a level of the motor function while indicating motor difficulties and difficulty in coordination. It consists of eight test items that are divided into three components. Individual components focus on testing fine motor skills (manual skill), gross motor skills (aiming and catching) and balance. After performing the MABC-2 test and obtaining gross scores for each item, we created tables and graphs of component and total test scores (TTS). We compared the results to the standardization norms this test battery and with other researches in this field that deal with motor testing using the MABC-2 test battery. At the basis of this comparison, we evaluated the level of motor skills in the tested group of gymnasts. This thesis confirmed that gymnasts achieved in all components above-average results. For evaluation of the gymnasts balance skills the MABC-2 wasn´t sensitive enought.

Výskyt senzomotorických obtíží u dětí se sluchovým postižením / Occurrence of sensomotoric disorders in children with hearing impairment

Fiedlerová, Kateřina January 2020 (has links)
Title: Occurrence of coordination disorders in children with hearing impairment Objectives: The aim of this master thesis was to verify the hypothesis that children with hearing impairment have higher incidence of sensorimotor issues byassessing their motor skills, physical fitness and somatognostic functions. A partial goal was to assess the correlation between the methods used. Methods: The examination group consisted of 73 children (27 girls and 46 boys) with hearing impairment aged 7 to 16 years (mean age 11.9 ± 2.8 years). The mean weight of the children was 47.7 ± 17.4 kg, the mean height was 153 ± 17.5 cm and the average BMI value was 19.7 ± 4.1. Following methods for testing of children with hearing impairment were utilized: the Movemet Assessment Battery for Children - Second Edition (MABC-2) and Unifittest 6-60. Results were evaluated according to Czech standards. All children were also tested for their somatognostic functions according to Kolář. Furthermore, anamnestic data were obtained from parents of 54 children using a non-standardized questionnaire. In the case of 20 children, the assessment was repeated after 3 years. Statistica and Microsoft Excel 2016 were used for data processing. Results: The hypothesis was confirmed, i.e. children with hearing impairment have higher incidence...

Korelace pohybové aktivity, motoriky a plochonoží u dětí ve věku 7-15 let / Correlation of physical activity, motor skills and flat feet in children aged 7-15 years

Pavelková, Anna January 2021 (has links)
Author: Bc. Anna Pavelková Title: Correlation of physical activity, motor skills and flat feet in children aged 7-15 years Objectives: The aim of the diploma thesis is to map the level of physical activity of selected age population of children that were indicated for physiotherapy, based on a questionnaire of physical activity PAQ-C. To monitor whether we find physical activity at levels 1 and 2 out (low physicalactivity)outof 5 levelspossible in children with flatfeet,on the basisof the PAQ- C questionnaire. Further objectify the flatfeet using a podoscope, and determine the level of the flatfeet according to Clement. Confirm / disprove the effect of the level of flatfeet on the achievement of the percentile (component and total) of the test battery MABC-2 in the evaluation of motor skills (especially balance and gross motor skills). Methods: A group of 15 children aged ± 10 years with diagnosed flatfeet (indicated for individual or group physiotherapy) formed a research sample for our study. Probands filled out an anamnestic questionnaire and a questionnaire on physical activity PAQ-C. Photographs of the plantogram of patients' were taken from the podoscope using a Huawei P9 Lite mobile camera (2017) placed on a tripod. The level of flatfeet was evaluated according to Clement based on the...

Plavecký výcvik dětí se specifickými poruchami učení v mladším školním věku / Swimming training of children with specific learning disabilities in younger school age

Šťastná, Hana January 2021 (has links)
The work was reflecting the effect of basic swimming training and the water environment on the fine motor skills of the upper limbs in a group of pupils with specific learning disabilities. Part of the work is a comparison with a group of pupils of the same age with specific learning disabilities without said swimming training. The main goal of the work is to observe a group of pupils from a Prague based private elementary school with focus on education of children with specific learning disabilities and evaluation of potential changes in fine motor skills of the upper limbs. The selected group of pupils consisted of children diagnosed with one or more specific learning disability, such as developmental dysphasia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, dyslexia, ADHD syndrome and Asperger's syndrome in ages 8 to 10. The training was a mandatory basic swimming training in third grade and happened during the school year 2018/2019 with total of 15 participants. Input testing for fine motor skills and test of level of swimming abilities were organised in the beginning of the training. Output testing was organised in February of 2019 after completion of 20 hours of swimming training. This was then compared to level of fine motor skills of a group of pupils of same age without basic swimming training. Key words swimming...

Nývltová, Marcela January 2010 (has links)
In the first part of the thesis Objectification of disorders of the fine motor skills of the upper extremities in the patients with hereditary neuropathies there are mentioned some brief informations about characteristics, classifications, clinical symptoms, deformities and testing of upper extremities, rehabilitation and treatment of CMT neuropathy. The practical part of this thesis is concerned with testing and evaluating of strength, fine motor skills and sensation of the upper extremities in the patients with CMT. For the measurement of the hand strenght the dynamometry and the functional muscle test are used. The Jebsen-Taylor test, the Nine-Hole Peg Test and the examination of static and dynamic handgrip rating are used. For the examination of the sensation the Nottingham Sensory Assessment is used. CMT neuropathy score and Overall Neuropathy Disability Scaleare are used for the classification of disability. The aim of this thesis is the comparison of the muscle strength and the function of the dominant and non-dominant hand. Partial aim of thesis is detection of the correlations between tests. According to the results CMT disease leads to the muscle strenght weakness and to worsening of the fine motor skills mainly of the dominant upper extremity. This may be the result of overwork weakness. For...

Jedličková, Milena January 2011 (has links)
Soft motoric skill of a pre-school child and its development is an important part of an educational process in a nursery school. The soft motoric skill is very significant for a further succes in a school and there is more or less attention devoted to this topic in educational programs as well. The aim of my thesis is to determine the effect of selected hand works to the motoric skill. I have divided this thesis into theoretical and research part. The theoretical part is aimed at traditional textile techniques and their development from history to present, specificities of pre-school children, a development of soft motoric skill, upper limbs, a skeleton and muscles. Research section contains the results of a survey of contemporary interest in traditional manual works and identifies what impact has the manual works on the soft motoric skill of an early child. I have created an experimental and control group of children of around the same age and abilities. The experimental group participated a course of hand works. In post-tests I've found that there is a significant difference between the experimental and control group. The research has confirmed the positive impact of the activities that support the soft motoric skill by using the selected techniques of work.
