Hodnocení úrovně motoriky dětí mladšího školního věku testovou baterií MABC-2 na vybrané základní škole / Evaluation of the motor activity of younger school-age children by the MABC-2 test battery at a selected elementary school

ČELIKOVSKÝ, Jakub January 2018 (has links)
The aim of this graduation thesis is to find out the level of fine and gross motoric skills amongst children of younger school age in a selected elementary school. In total, we tested 44 children (21 boys and 23 girls) from the 1st to 4th grade from the age of 7 to 10 in January 2018. The level of their motoric skills was measured by a standardized Movement Assessment Battery for Children Second Edition, which includes 8 motor tests suitable for both genders. We compared boys and girls with each other in components and test tasks. The total test results have shown that 100% of children have no motor problems (1st range). In spite of that, there were individuals who fell into the 2nd range (risk of motor problems) in components of manual skills, aiming & catching or 3rd band (major motor problems). Research has convinced us that the fine and gross motor skills of most tested children are at a very good standard.

Rozvoj grafomotoriky u předškolních dětí s příznaky hyperaktivity / The graphomotoric progress related to pre-school children with symptoms of hyperactivity

ŠMÍDOVÁ, Kateřina January 2009 (has links)
Graphomotor skills are a set of motoric skills in the field of graphics. Their development is dependent on the overall level of psychomotor development, especially gross and fine motor skills. Hyperactivity means excessive compulsion to perform activities, excessive movements. This is why children with symptoms of hyperactivity are very frequently prone to occurrence of problems in some area of psychomotor skills. The aim of the thesis was to ascertain to what extent the level of graphomotor development influences postponement of school attendance and also how kindergartens handle development of fine and gross motor skills in these. Both aims were fulfilled. The theoretical section of the thesis deals with a detailed description of the problems, attempting to present a comprehensive overview of the topic. The research section is made up of integrated research. Qualitative research took place with the aid of controlled interviews with representatives of kindergartens. The interview was recorded in writing and subsequently analysed and elaborated into tables. The quantitative section of the research was base on gathering of data with the aid of questionnaires and subsequent analysis of the data. The results were elaborated into graphs. There were a total of two questionnaires, one for pedagogical workers and second for parents of children cited by teachers, both anonymous. Those questionnaires ascertained the level of gross and fine motor skills, graphomotor skills and any possible postponement (even considered) of school attendance. Two hypotheses were determined. The research confirmed both hypotheses. It was evident from the results of the research that deficiencies in the development of graphomotor skills in pre-school children are dependent on the development of gross motor skills and coordination and that hyperactive children show greater shortcomings in these areas. This is why development of psychomotor skills should be supported and developed in a targeted manner during pre-school years. This can help to prevent problems with graphomotor skills, especially in hyperactive children.

Změny jemné a hrubé motoriky u pacientů s dětskou mozkovou obrnou po terapii pomocí aktivní videohry Nintendo Wii a pomocí Vojtovy reflexní lokomoce / Changes of the fine and gross motor functions at patients with cerebral palsy after therapy by Nintendo Wii and Reflex Locomotion according Vojta

Píšťková, Marie January 2017 (has links)
Aim: The aim of this study is to assess benefits of therapy by Vojta method and by using the active videogame Nintendo Wii. The manual dexterity and gross motor function were evaluated. Methodology: The study was attended by 14 children aged 6 - 18 years. They were divided into two equal groups. The Vojta method was applied for the first group and exercising with Nintendo Wii for the second group. Each therapy took 30 days. After a 6 months break the two groups were changed. During those 6 months no targeted physiotherapy was done. The manual dexterity and gross motor functions were measured before and after the therapy and 8 weeks after finishing the therapy. The Box and Block test and the Nine Hole Peg test were used for assessment of manual dexterity and GMFM was used for testing of gross motor function. The children completed the PACES questionnaire after each of the interventions. Results: Statistics showed a significant change in the manual dexterity over the time when the Box and Block test was used. A difference between the two types of therapy has not been proven. Results of the Nine Hole Peg test were not statistically significant, neither in time nor when comparing the therapies. GMFM was not statistically significant either. The PACES did not show any difference between the therapies....

Hudební činnost při rozvoji grafomotoriky v průběhu lateralizace předškolních dětí / Musical activities in the development of graphomotor skills during the lateralization of preschool children

Matulová, Veronika January 2022 (has links)
The subject of the thesis is the use of musical activities in the development of graphomotor skills of preschool children. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the problem of harmonization of music and movement at the level of gross and fine motor skills. It also deals with the issue of laterality and its distinctness. The practical part contains a detailed case study of a boy with a disadvantageous type of laterality and follows the development of his graphomotor skills during 15 lessons, the core of which are musical activities for the development of graphomotor skills of preschool children. I used multiple complementary research methods in the in-depth case study, which were participant observation, mother interview, open-ended questionnaire, family and personal history, and PPP report. The action research was conducted over a ten-month period, with the boys being 4 years and 3 months old at the start of the research. The practical part of the thesis analyses the action research data and evaluates the overall impact of specific musical activities in the development of preschool children's graphomotor skills.

Adamcová, Tereza January 2021 (has links)
Title: Assessment of motor skills in children of younger school age with autism spectrum disorder practising applied behavior analysis with the MABC-2 test battery Objectives: The aim of the work is to assess the motor skills of children of younger school age with autism spectrum disorder using the test battery MABC-2 (Movement Assessment Battery for Children - Second Edition). The obtained results will be compared with the standards for Czech children and children with autism spectrum disorder who do not practice Applied Behavior Analysis. Methods: The motor skills of children with autism spectrum disorder were assessed using the MABC-2 test battery (Henderson et al., 2007) - Movement Assessment Battery for Children - Second Edition. The method of comparison was used in the work, namely the results of children with autism spectrum disorder with standards for Czech children and both groups of tested children - one group practicing applied behavior analysis with another group of children without intervention. Results: We found that children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in our sample showed a significantly higher incidence of motor problems. All involved children with ASD (n = 10) in the research fall into the 3rd zone (score below the 5th percentile), where there are significant motor...

Pohybová aktivita dětí s motorickými obtížemi / Physical activity of children with motor difficulties

Kokštejn, Jakub January 2012 (has links)
Bibliographic identification Name and surname of the author: Mgr. Jakub Kokštejn Name of the dissertation: Physical activity of children with motor difficulties Workplace: Department of Sports Games Supervisor of the work: Doc. PaedDr. Rudolf Psotta, Ph.D. Year of presentation: 2011 Abstract Objective: Current knowledge of developmental disorders in motor skills of school children suggest potential negative impacts on the development of the personality of the child in the mental, social psychological and behavioural areas and also in the area of competence at school. Very little is known about how an insufficient level of motor skills of a child can limit his/her physical activity. This work was performed to discover whether developmentally determined motor deficit in children of older school age is a risk factor for lower physical activity (PA) and whether the attention of the child has a mediation function in the relationship between the level of motor skills and his/her physical activity. Methods: The research was based on analytical-descriptive examination of the motor skills of children, their physical activity in weekly regimes and the attention level, with subsequent comparison of children with a motor deficit (MD) and children without MD, through correlation analysis and analysis of the mediative...

Vašák, Marek January 2015 (has links)
Name: The relationship between physical somatotype and psychomotor age applied on the football players of U12 category in the Czech Republic Objectives: The aim of this work is to determine the relationship between the component of a body somatotype "ectomorph" and the level of psychomotor development of football players at the age of 12. Methods: To obtain the data the testing method was used. For data processing the method of statistical analysis was applied, the most important element of the analysis was the analysis of correlation. For the partial results the method of comparison was chosen. Results: The most important finding in this study was a positive but weak dependence (r = 0.15) between ectomorphic component level and psychomotor development. There were no factually or statistically significant differences among the teams in sub-monitored parameters such as the average body weight and height, BMI, age, ectomorph and the level of psychomotor development. Only on the level of psychomotor age a moderate effect from the perspective of substantive significance (Cohen's d = 0.582) was found. Keywords: football, youth, comparison, motor skills, ectomorph

Ovlivňování motoriky ve vztahu k prostorové orientaci u žáků 1. a 2 stupně základní školy pro zrakově postižené / Influence upon Mobility in Relation to Spatial Orientation of Pupils in Primary and Upper Primary Schools for the Visually Impaired

Koubová, Lenka January 2012 (has links)
The thesis is focused on spatial orientation and independent movement of visually impaired people. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the extent of straight direction deviations concerning visually impaired pupils of primary and lower secondary schools. After analysis of specialized literature a description of current educational system for visually impaired pupils in the Czech Republic follows in the theoretical part. Specific needs related to the field of education of this target group are mentioned. Functional limitation of the visual analyzer influences spatial orientation and independent movement of the visually impaired individual. Therefore the thesis deals with the above mentioned topic and characterises education of the subject called spatial orientation and independent movement. Troubles in the field of motoric movement occur in the group of visually impaired people. This is apparent especially in incorrect walking technique and in deviation from the required straight direction. The research part of the thesis analyses deviations from the straight direction of the visually impaired and intact pupils.

Bendrosios motorikos (judesio ir padėties) įtaka kalbinei motorikai (artikuliacijai) ikimokykliniame amžiuje / Influence of general motoric on linguistic motoric at pre-school age / Einfluß der allgemeinen Motorik für die Sprechmotorik im Vorschulalter

Baranauskienė, Jurgita 16 August 2007 (has links)
[toliau žr. visą tekstą] / The influence of separate components of general motoric such as carriage of the body, coordinational functions, movements of the body on such components of linguistic motoric as the state of articulatory apparatus, coordination of movements of articulatory apparatus and articulation of sounds and words of pre-school age children with language misdevelopment due to disartry and alalija is analysed in this work. The hypothesis that such components of general motoric as carriage of the body, functions of movements of the body and coordination can influence the state of articulatory apparatus, coordination of its movements and linguistic articulation of children of pre-school age with language disturbances is raised. By the method of testing the research which goal is to establish the development of general motoric and linguistic motoric (articulation) of children of pre-school age with language misdevelopment due to disartry and alalija and after the correlation analysis has been carried out to ascertain the influence of separate components of general motoric on separate components of linguistic motoric. 100 children of pre-school age from 4 to 7 years old having language misdevelopment due to disartry and alalija took part in the research. In the empirical part the correlational connections between the carriage of the body, coordinational functions and functions of the movements of the body, state of articulatory apparatus, coordination of its movements, articulation and...
