Matos Valencia, Kyara 06 July 2021 (has links)
The interactive documentary brings with it several changes in the way we tell stories, from how we shape the documentary structure, to the incidence of the user in it. These transformations go hand in hand with new narratives, orders, ways of telling stories, and the most prominent point, which is the user's participation in the documentary. The following research work sought to identify the contributions of interactivity based on the user's perception, focusing on user involvement and the increase of information. To this end, user perception was studied by limiting the work to two documentaries with a temporal and spatial interface, since it is considered that these are the fields where interactivity intervenes the most. To measure user involvement and the effectiveness of these interfaces, interviews were conducted with 10 people with different profiles in order to obtain a broad appreciation of the various contributions of interactivity. Among the most relevant results, the link between interface design and degrees of involvement was identified, as well as the increase in information linked to the combination of types of information. / Tesis

Konstrukce historické reality v díle kronikáře Jeana Froissarta / The Construction of a Historical Reality in Jean Froissart's Chronicles

Soukupová, Věra January 2017 (has links)
The Construction of Historical Reality in Jean Froissart's Chronicles Jean Froissart, one of the most famous chroniclers of the Middle Ages, is generally recognized for the literary qualities of his work, less so for the credibility of his account. In my research I have endeavoured to follow those scholars whose aim has been to rehabilitate the author by studying him not on the basis of principles which govern our contemporary understanding of history as an academic discipline, but rather on the basis of conceptual movements which conditioned historical writing in the 14th century, taking into account the traditions upon which medieval conception of history was built. Put differently, this work seeks to examine closely the "historical forge" of Jean Froissart. Clearly, Froissart's historical project falls within a specific discourse on historical genres, on relationships between form and truth which an account of deeds is expected to convey, on the manner in which the authority of a story being told is constructed. It is on the very intersection of this context, on the one hand, and the individuality of the author, on the other, that I based my search for the chronicler's perspectives on the writing of history. Froissart was from the outset concerned with the issues of impartiality and credibility...

Konstrukce vnitřního světa: narativní hlas a estetická obnova ve španělské povídce počátku 20. století. / The construction of interiority: narrative voice and aesthetic renovation in the Spanish short story of the early twentieth century

Gago, Jerusalem January 2021 (has links)
UNIVERZITA KARLOVA FILOZOFICKÁ FAKULTA ÚSTAV ROMÁNSKÝCH STUDIÍ Obor: Filologie - románské literatury Specializace: naratologie a španělsky psané literatury ABSTRAKT EN DISERTAČNÍ PRÁCE PhDr. Jerusalem Gago Praha, 2021 THE CONSTRUCTION OF INTERIORITY: NARRATIVE VOICE AND AESTHETIC RENOVATION IN THE SPANISH SHORT STORY OF THE EARLY TWENTIETH CENTURY Abstract: The objective of this thesis is to explore the construction of interiority through its narrative procedures in that of the modernist narrative that appeared at the beginning of the 20th century. The discovery of the voice as a structuring element of the techniques of interiority constitutes one of the main theoretical and methodological axes of the work. Modernism considered as an aesthetics of interiority, a typology of the modernist narrative in five sub- genres, the establishment of a methodology for the specific study of the voice in its five dimensions, as well as the constructive profile of the narrative procedures typical of the modernist narrative, are the novel keys of this work. Keywords: interiority, narrative construction, interior aesthetics, modernism, modernist narrative, narrative voice, voice methodology, discursive structure.

As Bienais de Artes Visuais do Mercosul : utopias & protagonismos em Porto Alegre (1997-2003)

Knaak, Bianca January 2008 (has links)
This thesis is about the Mercosul Visual Art Biennial. Exhibition of contemporary art that takes up several spaces of exposition and interferes in the city of Porto Alegre through interventions in the landscape and, above all, cultural, social, artistic and economic aspects. More specifically sought to presentation of the relations of state and market in the construction of the project Mercosul Biennial, because, when analyzing the original editions of the Mercosul Visual Art Biennial (1997-2003) we find political convergences between public and private initiatives related to the event. This project quickly became a cultural reference model for regional and local industry. The Mercosul Biennial emerged and whether it became successful in an era of flows, exchange rates and impermanence of things, cultures and identities that defy the international promotion of regional artistic production, as well as their agents and markets. In that case arise, narrative strategies of affirmation, routinely reported by the print media, consulting source of reference for this work. Through newspapers and catalogs of shows seek the pronouncements of the presidents of the Mercosul Visual Art Biennial foundation, the state leaders, political representatives as well as artists, the curators of the show, of art critics and journalists who analyze and justify their choices, opinions and assessments from the postulates of the contemporary globalized world, showing players and utopias present in the Mercosul Biennial. In this thesis attempts to test the effects and locations (Rio Grande do Sul / Porto Alegre) assertion that the current power is growing and that culture provides the power, according to which the cultural and artistic circuits, in the manner the Mercosul Biennial preferential up scenarios, also for the dispute of leadership and hegemony. The relevance of the Mercosul Biennial, despite the name that refers to the formation of a bloc for the Southern Common Market, is now much more linked to the power of international insertion of this event and its agents than the ability to promote and criticism of Contemporary Latin American Art, restricted to countries of the Southern Cone and, or, outside the hegemonic patterns of global art. Thus, an indication of the formation of a bloc of southern countries, Mercosul, expressed in name, not a movement of resistance, but a way of presenting this Biennial, clearly, in a market that boasts numerous international biennials, as the largest show of Latin American art.

This research presents some data of the construction of the Art Museum of the Holy Spirit-MAES until his inauguration and a current analysis, reflecting on the role of government through the study of newspaper reports and interviews with some actors of the process discussion and installation of MAES and the positions taken by the government over this period as well as the artistic class and society in general. It was intended to recognize the actors participating in this process using documents that spell out the relationships that existed in that period between the government, the interests of the artistic community and the community that made and makes use of the institution. In the end, it is shown how these discourses influence the museum until the present day. To do so, signed up our discussion of the MAES under a more general reflection on the museum today.

Ayala Flores del Vecchio, María del Carmen 28 March 2013 (has links)
In the continuation of work carried out by the “Centre d'études et de recherches sociocritiques” (Center for Sociocritical Studies and Research) on the volume entitled chronotopes: the spaces of time, we examine the spatiotemporal descriptions in Spanish of eleven historical novels in the late twentieth century and early twenty-first century. The analysis is performed along two axes: the description of common spaces for the various novels of the corpus and their temporality, manifested through the different versions of historical time and cyclical time. The issue we want to tackle is whether these descriptions create a referentiality bringing us back to history or whether, instead, they refer to the narrative construction. This work detects referential chronotopes leading us back to history and chronotopes that are essentially oriented to internal structuring. The question is whether the chronotopes are ordered by an awareness of authors' contemporaneity or if the orientation of historical writing sets up those of the past. Awareness of time is likely to present an evolution between the chronotopical representations of works published at the end of the millennium and the early twenty-first century. In this perspective, we are led to consider the political and social events at the turn of the century in Spain and to connect them with the expression of time contained in the chronotopes that shape the novels. The choice of our corpus was guided by the principle of diversity to better assess the scope of chronotope. The criteria for its formation have taken into consideration the ages of the authors, the success of the works and the historical periods treated.
