Le nouveau mode de combustion HCCI est adapté pour réduire les émissions d’oxydes d’azote et de particules fines issues de moteurs Diesel afin de respecter les futures normes d’émission Euro de plus en plus drastiques. Ce type de combustion se traduit par l’augmentation des émissions de monoxyde de carbone et des hydrocarbures et par une faible température des gaz d’échappement retardant ainsi leur conversion par le catalyseur d’oxydation Diesel (DOC). C’est dans ce contexte environnemental et économique que le couplage plasma-catalyseur apparait comme une solution intéressante afin d’améliorer l’efficacité du traitement des gaz d’échappement Diesel. Cette thèse est dédiée à l’étude du couplage d’un plasma non-thermique de type décharge à barrière diélectrique (DBD) et d’un catalyseur d’oxydation Diesel (Pt-Pd/Al2O3) pour le traitement de mélanges gazeux représentatifs d’un échappement de moteur Diesel HCCI (O2-NO-H2O-CO-CO2-CH4-C3H6- C7H8-C10H22-N2). Les expériences avec un réacteur plasma pilote ont été menées sur deux bancs expérimentaux : le premier à l’échelle laboratoire en vue de comprendre la physico-chimie impliquant le plasma et le catalyseur avec une attention particulière pour les sous-produits de réaction, et le second à l’échelle industriel afin de déterminer l’efficacité et la faisabilité d’un tel couplage dans les conditions de débit et de température les plus proches possibles de celles rencontrées en sortie moteur véhicule. L’étude menée en fonction de la puissance injectée dans le milieu, la VVH, la température des gaz, ainsi que la nature du cycle de roulage a permis de montrer l’efficacité du plasma pour abaisser de façon significative la température d’activation du DOC pour l’oxydation de CO et des hydrocarbures. Aussi, la présence du plasma en amont du DOC a permis, sur un cycle NEDC simulé, une réduction de 68% et 42% des masses de CO et des hydrocarbures émis en accord avec la norme Euro6 (2014). L’efficacité du plasma pour l’oxydation des hydrocarbures et de NO à basse température dans ces conditions de débits élevés (jusqu’à 900 Lmin−1 sur le cycle NEDC) a été confirmée et les principaux produits de réaction identifiés et quantifiés. / The new HCCI combustion mode is well adapted to improve nitrogen oxide and particulate matter reduction from Diesel engine in order to meet future emission regulations adopted in the Euro zone. However, HCCI engines emit relatively high amounts of unburned hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide due to lower engine exhaust temperature increasing the catalyst light-off time and decreasing the average efficiency of the Diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC). In this environmental and economic context, the combination of plasma with DOC has been considered especially for intermittent use during the cold start. The thesis presents the combination of nonthermal plasma upstream Diesel oxidation catalyst (Pt-Pd/Al2O3) applied to the treatment of simulating Diesel HCCI exhaust gas (O2-NO-H2O-CO-CO2-CH4-C3H6-C7H8-C10H22-N2). The studies were conducted at atmospheric pressure with a pilot-scale dielectric barrier discharge reactor (DBD) on two experimental devices. The first is a laboratory scale set-up (low flow rate : 20 Lmin−1) used to understand the physico-chemical involving the plasma and the catalyst by focusing on the by-products reactions. The second is an industrial scale (gas flow rate up to 260 Lmin−1) used to study the feasibility and the efficiency of the plasma-DOC system under conditions similar to those encountered in Diesel exhaust engine. The effects of the plasma, the DOC and the plasma-DOC systems on the exhaust gas have been investigated under various conditions. The main contribution of the plasma was to give a « thermal » and a chemical « push » to the DOC resulting in the decrease of light-off temperature for CO and HC oxidation. These improvements were shown to depend on the treatment conditions (injected energy i.e. energy density, space velocity, gas temperature and nature of the driving cycle). It is shown that for a simulated European Driving Cycle (NEDC), the combination of plasma upstream DOC reduces the cumulative mass of CO and hydrocarbons by about 68% and 42%, respectively, in accordance with the Euro 6 standard (2014). The efficiency of plasma for hydrocarbons and NO oxidation at low temperature in high flow conditions (up to 900 Lmin−1 on the NEDC) has been confirmed and the main reaction products identified and quantified.

Theoretical, numerical and experimental study of DC and AC electric arcs / Étude théorique, numérique et expérimentale d’arcs électrique continu et alternatif

L’apparition accidentelle d’un arc électrique dans le système de distribution électrique d’un aéronef peut compromettre la sécurité du vol. Il existe peu de travaux liés à cette problématique.Le but de ce travail est donc d’étudier le comportement d’un arc électrique, en conditions aéronautiques,par des approches théorique, numérique, et expérimentale. Dans ce travail, un modèle MHD de la colonne d’arc à l’ETL a été utilisé, et résolu à l’aide du logiciel commercial comsolMultiphysics. Afin de décrire l’interaction plasma-électrodes, le modèle a dû étendu pour inclure les écarts à l’équilibre près des électrodes. Ces zones ont été prises en compte en considérant la conservation du courant et de l’énergie dans la zone hors-équilibre. L’approche choisie et le développement du modèle ont été détaillés. La validation du modèle dans le cas d’un arc libre a montré un excellent accord avec les résultats numériques et expérimentaux de la littérature.Ce modèle d’arc libre a été étendu au cas de l’arc se propageant entre des électrodes en configuration rails et en géométrie 3D. Une description auto-cohérente du déplacement de l’arc entre les électrodes a été réalisée. La simulation numérique a été faite pour des arcs en régimes DC, pulsé et AC à des pressions atmosphériques et inférieures. Les principales caractéristiques de l’arc ont été analysées et discutées. Les résultats obtenus ont été comparés avec les résultats expérimentaux et ont montré un bon accord.Ce modèle d’arc électrique est capable de prédire le comportement d’un arc de défaut dans des conditions aéronautiques. Des améliorations du modèle sont discutées comme perspectives de ce travail. / The ignition of an electric arc in the electric distribution system of an aircraft can be a serious problem for flight safety. The amount of information on this topic is limited, however. Therefore,the aim of this work is to investigate the electric arc behavior by means of experiment and numerical simulations.The MHD model of the LTE arc column was used and resolved numerically using the commercial software comsol Multiphysics. In order to describe plasma-electride interaction, the model had to be extended to include non-equilibrium effects near the electrodes. These zones were taken into account by means of current and energy conservation in the non-equilibrium layer. The correct matching conditions were developed and are described in the work. Validation of the model in the case of a free burning arc showed excellent agreement between comprehensive models and the experiment.This model was then extended to the case of the electric arc between rail electrodes in a 3D geometry. Due to electromagnetic forces the electric arc displaces along the electrodes. A self-consistent description of this phenomenon was established. The calculation was performed for DC, pulsed and AC current conditions at atmospheric and lower pressures. The main characteristics of the arc were analyzed and discussed. The results obtained were compared with the experimental measurements and showed good agreement.The model of electric arcs between busbar electrodes is able to predict the behavior of a fault arc in aeronautical conditions. Further improvements of the model are discussed as an outlook of the research.

Esta tese apresenta um modelo matemático para simulação numérica do escoamento com turbilhonamento (swirl) em tochas de plasma térmico de arco não transferido que operam em corrente contínua, assim como os resultados obtidos com as simulações para estudo de casos. O modelo magneto-hidrodinâmico (modelo MHD) bidimensional permitiu simular a interação entre o escoamento e o arco elétrico usando uma configuração axissimétrica, que abrange as seguintes regiões: entrada do gás; interior da tocha; jato de plasma livre no ambiente. O modelo foi implementado num código numérico baseado no Método dos Volumes Finitos para a solução numérica das equações governantes. Para os estudos foram simulados casos com diferentes condições operacionais (vazão de gás; intensidade de corrente elétrica; gases plasmogênicos: ar e argônio; intensidade de turbilhonamento). A fim de verificar a qualidade do modelo, alguns resultados foram comparados com a literatura e apresentaram boa concordância: a maior diferença obtida entre valores de temperatura experimentais e valores calculados foi -10%, e a média das diferenças obtidas nas comparações foi de aproximadamente ±3,2%. Os perfis de temperatura e de velocidade obtidos para a região do arco e para o jato de plasma resultante permitiram o estudo do comportamento do escoamento na tocha de plasma em diferentes condições. Conclui-se que o modelo desenvolvido é apto à realização de investigações numéricas do escoamento em tochas de plasma e dos efeitos do turbilhonamento na interação arco/escoamento. / This thesis presents a mathematical model for numerical simulation of swirling flow in DC non-transferred arc thermal plasma torches, as well as the results obtained from simulations to case studies. The two-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic model (MHD model) allowed simulate the interaction between the flow and the electric arc using an axisymmetric configuration, covering the following areas: gas inlet; inside the torch; free jet of plasma in the environment. The model was implemented in a computer code based on the Finite Volume Method (FVM) to enable the numerical solution of the governing equations. For the study, cases were simulated with different operating conditions (gas flow rate; electric current intensity; plasmogenic gases: air and argon; swirl intensity). In order to verify the quality of the model, some results were compared with the literature and showed good agreement: the biggest difference between experimental temperature values and calculated values was 10%, and the average of the differences obtained in the comparisons was approximately ±3.2%. The resulting profiles of temperature and velocity obtained for the region of the arc and the plasma jet allowed the study of the flow behavior in the plasma torch in different conditions. It is concluded that the model developed is able to carry out numerical investigations of the flow in plasma torches and the effects of swirl in the interaction arc/flow.

Towards Achieving Better NOx Removal In Discharge Plasma Treatment Of Diesel Engine Exhaust

In India, the expansion of industries and two-fold increase in motor vehicles over the last decade are posing a serious environmental crisis in the form of urban air pollution. Common pollutants include carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), and nitrogen oxides produced by industry and motor vehicles. Air pollution results from a variety of sources. The natural sources include volcanoes, forest fire, scattering soil, biological decay, lightning strikes, dust storms etc. and man-made sources include thermal power plants, vehicular exhausts, incinerators and various other industrial emissions. More than 60% of the air pollution is contributed by these man-made sources. Amongst the gaseous pollutants, the major concern and a challenging task is to control oxides of nitrogen, commonly referred to as NOx. In case of diesel engines, despite the modification in engine design and improvement in after treatment technologies, large amount of NOx continues is get emitted and attempts to develop new catalyst to reduce NOx have so far been less successful. Further, with the emission standards becoming more stringent, estimates are that NOx and particulate matter emission must be reduced by as much as 90%. In this context, the emergence of electrical discharge plasma technique in combination with the few existing technologies is providing to be economically viable and efficient technology. In this thesis emphasis has been laid on the discharge based non-thermal plasma for NOx removal. NOx from simulated gas mixture and actual diesel engine exhaust has been treated. The thesis mainly addresses the following issues. . • Performance evaluation of pipe-cylinder and wire-cylinder reactor for NOx removal . • Study of effect of plasma assisted adsorbent reactor on NOx removal . • Study of effect of adsorption and plasma based desorption using different adsorbent material and electrode configuration The first chapter provides introduction about the air pollutants and the existing NOx control technologies, a brief history of electric discharge plasma, a detailed literature survey and scope of the work. A detailed experimental setup consisting of voltage sources, gas system (simulated flue gas and diesel exhaust), gas analyzers, adsorbent materials are discussed in the second chapter. In the third chapter, NOx is treated by three different methods and are described in separate parts. In first part we have done a comparative study of NO/NOx removal using two different types of dielectric barrier discharge electrodes: a) wire-cylinder reactor, b) pipe-cylinder reactor. Investigations were first carried out with synthetic gases to obtain the baseline information on the NO/NOx removal with respect to the two geometries studied. Further, experiments were carried out with raw diesel exhaust under loaded condition. A high NOx removal efficiency 90% was observed for pipe-cylinder reactor when compared to that with wire-cylinder reactor, where it was 53.4%. In second part an analysis has been made on discharge plasma coupled with an adsorbent system. The cascaded plasma-adsorbent system may be perceived as a better alternative for the existing adsorbent based abatement system in the industry. During this study the exhaust is sourced from a diesel generator set. It was observed that better NO removal in a plasma reactor can be made possible by achieving higher average fields and subsequent NO2 removal can be improved using an adsorbent system connected in cascade with the plasma system. This part describes the various findings pertaining to these comparative analyses. The third and last part of chapter 3 consists of gas desorption from an adsorbent by non-thermal plasma, which is an alternative to conventional thermal desorption, has been studied in relation to diesel engine exhaust. In this process saturated adsorbent material is regenerated using high energetic electrons and excited molecules produced by non thermal plasma. The last Chapter lists out the major inferences drawn from this study.

Etude des forces à l'origine du déplacement d'un arc électrique dans un disjoncteur basse-tension / Study of the forces leading to the electrical arc movement in the low-voltage circuit breaker

Le Disjoncteur Basse-Tension (DBT) est un appareil classique de la distribution électrique depuis plus de cinquante ans. Mais aujourd'hui, avec l'arrivée de produits bas-coût fabriqués dans les pays émergents, les industriels sont soumis à une forte pression pour développer de nouveaux systèmes moins encombrants, utilisant d'autres matériaux, ou incorporant davantage de fonctionnalités. Cette recherche est très compliquée dans la mesure où le DBT est un système hautement multi-physique (mécanique, thermique, physique des matériaux, physique des plasmas, ...). De fait, le développement de nouveaux produits passe par un processus empirique long et coûteux. Cet effort pourrait être réduit par l'utilisation de modèles prédictifs permettant d'arriver plus vite à un système fonctionnel. De nos jours, avec l'augmentation des moyens de résolution numérique, de plus en plus de travaux portent sur la description multi-physique en 3D du DBT et notamment sur la chambre de coupure ou l'arc électrique est amorcé, se déplace et doit être éteint, l'objet de nôtre étude. Le travail de cette thèse se divise en deux axes complémentaires : le développement d'un modèle fluide 3D en méthode des volumes finis simulant l'arc électrique et son déplacement dans la chambre de coupure; ainsi que la mise en place d'un dispositif expérimental permettant d'analyser le phénomène physique en œuvre. Pour ces deux points la problématique est abordée dans une configuration simplifiée de DBT où l'arc se déplace entre deux rails parallèles dans une chambre parallélépipédique. Basé sur le savoir-faire du groupe AEPPT, un modèle numérique est établi pour simuler le plasma thermique. Les particularités de ce modèle, du fait de l'application, sont la nécessité d'une résolution précise du champ magnétique en utilisant le calcul de Biot & Savart pour les conditions limites ainsi que l'utilisation de méthodes permettant le déplacement et la commutation de l'arc. La validation de ce modèle se fera à géométrie similaire par confrontation avec l'expérience. En s'inspirant de précédents travaux nous avons réalisé une maquette expérimentale composée d'un réacteur faisant office de chambre de coupure et d'un mécanisme permettant l'amorçage de l'arc dans le réacteur par ouverture rotative du contact à vitesse contrôlée. D'autres paramètres modifiables sont la taille du réacteur ainsi que les matériaux qui le constituent. Les diagnostiques disponibles en plus de la mesure de courant et de tension sont l'imagerie rapide et la mesure de pression en différents points de la chambre de coupure. Notre expérience est utile pour la réalisation d'études paramétriques en découplant facilement les paramètres. En outre, par la mise en évidence des phénomènes prépondérants, notre maquette aide à la mise en place du modèle en plus de permettre sa validation expérimentale. Cette thèse est donc une étape cruciale vers la mise en place d'un modèle prédictif. / Low-Voltage Circuit Breakers (LVCB) are classical apparatuses of electrical distribution since more than fifty years. But nowadays, with the outbreak of low-cost products from the developing countries, industry is under a strong stress in order to improve their devices by making them more compact, using different materials or to implement new functionalities. This research is harsh since LVCB are highly multiphysics systems (mechanics, thermal properties, materials, plasma physics, ...). Therefore, developing new products goes through a long and expensive empirical process. Those efforts could be reduced by using predictive models allowing to get faster to a functional device. With the improvements of the numerical solution capacity, there are more and more works toward the 3D multiphysical description of the LVCB, especially on the extinction chamber where the electrical arc is ignited, moved and must be quenched. This is the subject of our work. The study described here is divided in two complementary parts: development of a 3D fluid model with finite volume method simulating the electrical arc and its movement inside the arc extinction chamber; and the set-up of experimental means to analyse this physical phenomenon. For those two points, we use a simplified LVCB configuration with an arc moving between two parallel rails inside a rectangular box chamber. Based on AEPPT's know-how, a numerical model is established to simulate thermal plasma. Particularities on this model, due to the application, are the resolution of Biot&Savart law to calculate precisely the magnetic field for the boundary condition and the development of methods to model the arc roots movement and commutation of the arc from the moving contact to the rail. Validation of this model will be done with the same geometry by confrontation with the experiment. Inspired by precedent works we designed a test apparatus with a reactor representing the extinction chamber of the LVCB and an opening mechanism allowing arc ignition by contact opening at a specified speed. Other parameters such as size of the chamber and materials can be modified. Measurements will include high speed imaging and pressure acquisition in several points of the reactor in addition to the classical current and voltage measurements. This experiment is useful for parametric studies with its easy uncoupling of the parameters. Moreover, by highlighting the dominating phenomena for arc movement, this set-up helps in the build-up of the model over and above the experimental validation.

Étude d’une pompe active EHD basée sur la mise en œuvre de décharges de surface pour le traitement des effluents gazeux d’origine industrielle / Study of an EHD pump based on the surface discharges for the treatment of wastes gases from industrial sources

Les Composés Organiques Volatils (COV), émis dans l'atmosphère sous différentes formes par les activités industrielles, sont considérés comme des polluants principaux de l'air. Pour le traitement des forts débits de gaz faiblement concentrés en COV, caractéristiques des principales sources de COV industriels, il n'existe que très peu de procédés adaptés et efficaces d'où le plasma non thermique. Sa faible consommation d'énergie et sa grande compacité font du traitement par plasma non-thermique un candidat prometteur. Ma thèse consiste à élaborer et étudier un dispositif de traitement des COV basé sur l'utilisation de décharges à barrière diélectrique de surface, décharges ayant la caractéristique de produire un vent électrique dirigé. Pour ce faire, nous avons conçu et optimisé une pompe plasma chimiquement active, composée d'un assemblage de cellules à surfaces actives, capable d'aspirer et de traiter simultanément de l'air pollué en COV. Il a fallu d'abord travailler sur l'optimisation paramétrique : électrique, géométrique et matériaux, d'une surface active élémentaire. Puis concevoir un canal actif constitué de deux surfaces actives optimales placées en vis-à-vis, pour finalement aboutir à la construction d'une pompe plasma prototype ayant un débit de pompage de 10 Nm3/h. Cette pompe originale par sa capacité de traitement chimique, constitue le prototype d'étude physique et chimique de cette thèse. Elle a permis d'effectuer des essais d'élimination de 5 COV différents injectés dans l'air : acétone, méthyl-éthyle cétone, butyraldéhyde, méthyl-valérate, méthyl-butyrate et d'en évaluer les taux d'abattement respectifs, mais aussi, d'identifier à l'aide de la chromatographie en phase gazeuse couplée à la spectrométrie de masse, les principaux sous-produits de la dégradation. / The Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) emitted in the atmosphere by various forms is considered as principal atmospheric pollutant. In order to treat a high flow of gaz with a low concentration, few efficient methods exist like the non-thermal plasma. Its low power consumption and compactness make the non-thermal plasma treatment a promising candidate. My thesis deals with the development and study of a VOC treatment device based on the surface dielectric barrier discharges which have the characteristic of producing an oriented electric wind. To do this, we have designed and optimized a chemically active plasma pump, composed of an assembly of active surfaces, capable of drawing and treating simultaneously the air polluted in VOC. At first, we had to work on the optimization of the following parameters: electrical, geometric and material of an elementary active surface. And then conceive an active channel consisting of two optimal active surfaces disposed in a mirror effect, eventually leading to the construction of a prototype plasma pump having a flow rate approximately equal to 10 Nm3/h. This original pump by its capacity of chemical treatment consists on the physical and chemical prototype of the thesis. It allowed testing the conversion of 5 different VOCs injected into air which are: ketone, methyl ethyl ketone, butyraldehyde, methyl penatanoate, methyl butyrate and evaluate the respective abatement rates, but also identifying the main by-products of degradation, using the gas chromatography coupled to the mass spectrometry.

Cette thèse est effectuée dans le cadre du projet Européen "PlasmAero" dont le but est de développer et d'étudier des actionneurs plasmas, et de démontrer leur capacité à contrôler des écoulements aérodynamiques. L'actionneur plasma à Décharge à Barrière Diélectrique (DBD) de surface est un moyen innovant pour contrôler un écoulement en utilisant le vent électrique induit par la force électrohydrodynamique (EHD) générée au sein du gaz ionisé. Une première partie est dédiée à l'étude des actionneurs plasmas. L'influence de la géométrie de l'électrode active d'une DBD est précisée par des mesures électriques, optiques et mécaniques. Les régimes de la décharge de surface peuvent être totalement modifiés, tout commel'évolution de la force EHD en fonction du temps, calculée ici par bilan intégral. Une géométrie optimisée permet de supprimer le régime de décharge streamer et d'augmenter l'efficacité de l'actionneur de 0,65 à 0,97 mN/W. De plus, des configurations à multi-électrodes (sliding discharge et multi-DBD) sont étudiées et développées. Une multi-DBD à potentiels alternés a permis d'obtenir un vent électrique record de 10,5 m/s.L'étude du contrôle d'un écoulement décollé à mi-corde ou en bord de fuite sur l'extrados d'un profil NACA 0015 fait l'objet de la seconde partie de la thèse. Une DBD standard à deux électrodes, une multi-DBD à six électrodes et une DBD de type "nanoseconde" sont utilisées pour agir sur une séparation à des nombres de Reynolds atteignant 1,3μ106, avec une transition naturelle ou déclenchée. Les résultats démontrent que le contrôle permet de repousser efficacement la séparation, améliorant ainsi les performances aérodynamiques du profil. / This work is conducted in the framework of the European PlasmAero project that aims to demonstrate how plasma actuators can be used to control aircraft aerodynamic. Surface Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD) is an innovative solution to control a flow with the electric wind induced by the electrohydrodynamic (EHD) force produced by a surface discharge. A first part is dedicated to plasma actuators study. The exposed electrode shape of a DBD actuator is investigated by electrical, optical and mechanical characterization. Discharges properties and EHD force evolution is fully dependent of exposed electrode shape. With an optimized active electrode shape, streamer discharge is cancelled while actuator effectiveness is increased from 0.65 to 0.97 mN/W. Flow field induced by multiple electrode design is also investigated. An innovative multi-DBD design is proposed. Inhibition of mutual interaction between successive DBD actuators and exposed electrode shape optimization conduct to an electric wind velocity of 10.5 m/s. In a second part, the control of boundary layer separation on a NACA 0015 airfoil is investigated. An ac DBD, a multi-DBD and a nanosecond DBD are used to manipulate separation at a Reynolds number Re = 1.3μ106, with tripped and natural boundary layer. Results show that actuators can effectively remove the separation existing without actuation.

Generace kovových nanočástic v nízkoteplotním plazmatu v kapalině / Generation of metallic nanoparticles by non-thermal plasma in liquids

This thesis focuses on the process of nanoparticle generation using new source of nonthermal plasma combining corona and pin-hole discharge in liquids. The theoretical part is focused on generation of metallic nanoparticles using various types of plasma discharge, the properties of metallic nanoparticles, their preparation by other methods and methods of characterization of nanoparticles. The experimental part deals with the preparation of copper, silver and gold nanoparticles from solutions of their precursors. The influence of experimental conditions, such as the influence of voltage polarity, effect of precursor concentration, effect of added electrolyte or reducing agent were investigated. All samples were analyzed by UV-VIS spectroscopy. Dynamic light scattering was used to determine the sice of nanoparticles. To confirm the presence of nanoparticles, samples were analyzed using scanning microscope with and energy dispersion spectrometer for elemental analysis.

Radiační přenos energie v obloukovém plazmatu / Radiation Transfer of Energy in Arc Plasma

Hlavním cílem práce je studium radiačního přenosu energie v termálním plazmatu pomocí aproximační metody sférických harmonických funkcí (PN-aproximace). Práce má teoretický charakter. Pozornost je věnována především P1-aproximaci. Spektrální závislost absorpčních koeficientů byla zpracována pomocí multigroup aproximace. Byl vytvořen výpočetní program pro výpočet radiačních charakteristik v izotermickém válcovém plazmatu a ve válcovém plazmatu s daným teplotním profilem, a vypočteny radiační charakteristiky pro plazma vzduchu a směsí SF6 a PTFE. Získané výsledky umožňují zahrnout radiační ztráty energie do celkové energetické bilance plazmatu elektrického oblouku. Jsou využívány v matematických modelech elektrického oblouku, které vytváří naši spolupracovníci z Ústavu fyziky plazmatu AV ČR v Praze a také ze zahraničních pracovišť (ABB Corporate Research ve Švýcarsku a Siemens AG Corporate Technology v Německu).
