Nesta, são discutidos os aspectos centrais que sustentam a perspectiva do processo de construção de identidades relativa ao fenômeno. O naturismo pode ser interpretado como derivado de uma sociedade que, por um lado, cultua o corpo e o poder da sua imagem e, por outro, atribui ao lazer uma função decisiva na promoção de uma ação social ligada a preceitos morais. Como o corpo humano serve de símbolo de pertencimento, investigam-se as dimensões intrínsecas das relações entre os praticantes, tendo sempre em vista a contraposição à ênfase que os grupos naturistas colocam na "pureza" e o "igualitarismo" dos corpos nus. Utilizando a Associação Naturista de Abricó (ANA) do município do Rio de Janeiro (RJ) como objeto de pesquisa, baseia sua investigação na problematização do paradoxo que se inscreve no "respeito" obtido e exigido através da nudez comunal / Abstract: The research developed in this doctoral thesis is a study on the central axis of naturism, activity in which the body is exposed naked in public spaces. We discuss the key aspects that support the viewpoint of the construction of identities related to the phenomenon. Naturism can be interpreted as derived from a society that on the one hand, worships the body and the power of its image and, second, gives leisure a decisive role in promoting social action linked to moral precepts. As the human body serves as a symbol of belonging, the intrinsic dimensions of relations among practitioners is investigated, always bearing in mind the opposition emphasized by naturist groups between "purity" and "egalitarianism" of naked bodies. This thesis examines how Ernst Ludwig Kirchner reconceived the female nude within the two contexts of Expressionism and the German nudist movement. In particular, it looks to Kirchner’s early paintings, executed between 1909 and 1914, of female nudes in landscape settings to determine how Kirchner operated within and departed from the conventions of the female nude. This thesis challenges the feminist critique of Expressionist painting and Kirchner’s female nudes. It also examines how Kirchner’s female nudes in landscapes are complicated by the early twentieth-century development of German nudism. While these paintings are often categorized as bathers following nineteenth-century French precedent, they in fact are unique products of die Brücke philosophy.

Mass tourism being on the agenda of world tourism industry since post war period, has been facing stagnation with late 80&rsquo / s. Additionally consumer&rsquo / s preferences and tendencies towards seeking new activities regardless of sea-sun-sand type of tourism have been started to change. Therefore popular tourist destinations are in a position where to develop alternative tourist activities to sustain their market shares in world tourism market. In compliance with this trend, the purpose of this thesis is to analyze the need and the reason of Turkish Tourism Industry moving away from concentrating merely on mass tourism and accordingly to evaluate the efforts of Turkish tourism authorities in diversifying tourism activities and extending the tourist season to year round with reference to Tourism Development Regions, Amendment of Tourism Encouragement Law, etc. Additionally the importance of focusing on cultural, historical, traditional identity and unique assets of Turkey in order to sustain its ranking in the international tourism market is stressed.
